STANDALONE Contemporary Romance | London Billionaires Book 1
D*mn, where do I even start....if this is considered a love story, then I will take a hard pass...this is NOT love, no way, lust, infatuation, desire, possession, sex, but love...nope. Nathan is a major tool, and Aura is a doormat with no self-respect...she has been waiting for this guy FOREVER, even though he either ignored her or treated her like dirt. Aura wears black ALL THE TIME because the last time she saw she wore a red dress, he treated her like trash and called her a slut and a gold-digger, like her mother, whom he despises, (accusations towards both women are completely untrue and unfounded, he is just a d*ck)....yet somehow Aura holds a long burning candle for him...ummm what???? He is forced to return to the home she shares with her Mother..you know the gold-digging, evil slut who he hates, because NOBODY ELSE WANTS HIM.... after years of not seeing her and...the rest is so unbelievable it borders on ridiculous...he treats her horribly, except when he is having unprotected sex with her every which way he can, because, well, she's a virgin, so it's all good, and she loves him even though he is a first class jerk because......he sends her flowers, takes her to a fancy hotel and says I love you...eventually...yeah, nope, nope nope. He is a creep and she needs counseling, ASAP
What a nice surprise this book is for me,it's free on amazon and i loved the cover so i give it try without expecting much because this book is first book i read from this author. But be mine totally captivated me from the first page till the last one.The writing is good, the character and story development is good too.Nathan is great alpha hero,he is strong, alpha dominant and our heroine Aura is perfect fit for him.She strong but soft in same time. The story is about Nathan and Aura,Aura met Nathan when her mother married Nathan father.Nathan had a rough childhood to adulthood, his father was always absent and his mother never cared about him, hard feelings towards his dad that he should have talked with but never did.And here is Aurora his new step-sister,they are six years apart.Aurora always loved him,but Nathan is scared from his feelings for her,so when she is 18 and he save her from drunk men,he kiss her and he knows that Aurora is for him.Scared from his feelings he run.Four years later,a skiing accident forces Nathan to return to his step-mother house. When he see again Aura he knows he must have her,but between them are years of lies, betrayal, angry feelings.
Overall amazing book,i really enjoyed it. Highly recommend
I'd signed up through an email to receive a free copy and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this book. I will definitely be looking for more books from this author!
I didn’t even pot my iPad down until I’ve read the whole thing. Wow!! The emotions were all over the place. Told in both p.o.v. With a HEA and no triangle in regards to 2 men wanting her. Feelings will be revealed, secrets will be told and happiness will be caught for. Nathan had a rough childhood to adult hood, mostly an absentee father, a mother that cared about herself over him, hard feelings towards his dad that he should have talked with but never did. Nate has his demons and one of them is his stepsister Aura. They are 6 years apart but when he was 16 and she 10 he felt a connection that’s he’s been fighting ever since. When she was 18 he did the unthinkable, he save and made out with her and that’s the last each saw the other. 4 years later a skiing accident forces Nathan’s hands and destination i to his step mother’s house and in his step sister’s care. Nathan never know how Aura really felt for Nate for 12 years since she was 10, and to save the one thing she wanted him to have and home never even acknowledging her until he needed his i he’d scratch. Aura gave him her heart and all she has lived with is heartache and no other man can come into her life to erase Nate from her heart, well maybe Bill, her BFF’s firefighter brother.
Nathan had a big chip on his shoulder and resentment towards Aura and her mother. Nathan’s dad and mother had split up when he was young and his dad married Auras mother. Nathan’s mom didn’t want him and his dad was too busy with work to deal with Nathan so he sent him to a boarding school.
When Aura and Nathan finally met, he was 16 and a troublemaker but Aura fell hard for him and tried to get his attention but he ignored her, breaking her heart.
Years have passed and Nathan is in a skiing accident but because he’s about to make a big presentation to wealthy investors for his company, he has to keep the accident and recovery a secret. Nathan is ordered to rest and the only family he has left to trust is Aura and her mother.
Nathan goes to stay with Aura and her mother and although he’s temporarily unable to see, he can sense and smell Aura and that brings back his desires to have her.
Both Nathan and Aura never spoke of their feelings for each other but Aura has held onto her crush, even remaining a virgin. Both have to face their past as well as current feelings for each other but can they make it work?

I would have loved to have a visual of Aurora's designs. They sounded beautiful. 5 stars.
If you like awesome characters, sizzling hot chemistry, a fantastic story-line with no cliffhanger and a HEA than this hot and steamy book is a MUST READ to You!!!
Aurora and Nathan have a really bumpy road ahead, with struggles and apologies, sometimes You just wanna strangle one or the other. So many years are wasted because of what they think and say is most of the time not the same. The twists and turns don't let You put the book down 'till You finished it. I really enjoyed reading the well-written story. This was my first read from Alyssia Leon but definitely not my last.
So go ahead, grab the book, grab a cup of coffee and take your naughty time.
This is a great story about Nathan and Aura while on a three day vacation Nate has a fall while skiing his friend Andy tells him he can't be alone for at least a week due to a head injury this is where Aura comes in Nate decides that she'll help him for te time he's laid up so he calls his stepmother to ask her if it'll be ok,now his stepmother is leaving for a week in Hawaii so that leaves Aura to take care of him .Aura has always been in love with him and what she doesn't know is he's always was attracted to her and kept a distance from her for that reason.Well that's all i'm gonna say you'll have to get this book to find out what if they get their HEA believe me you won't regret it
Nathan and Aura have had feelings for each other since they were little... But there is one thing keeping them from telling each other how they feel... Her mother married his father...Aura has looked up to her big brother from the beginning now he is injured and coming to stay at her and her mother's place to recuperate..
I enjoyed this book... The way Alyssia Leon wrote this book... Was wonderful... This is the first book I have read by Alyssa and I will be reading more... This book drew me in I loved how Nathan and Aura came to show how they cared for each other... This book has plot and romance... And a HEA...
It was a simple enough read which was just ok for me. I am not a fan of step sibling romance. But I opted to move past it and gave it a chance. But it failed to engage me and I was mostly irritated at the heroine when she keeps describing this hero like god-like and stuff and that she blushes non-stop. It was a grrrr moment every time. I was also irked at the her self esteem issues. Though I do prefer 2 way POVs, I was confused with this one because of how it was written. There wasn't a clear transition. I really did not feel the chemistry or the strong connection.
Such a great read folks!! I loved the length of this book it was perfect. Not too long but just enough to get the great story out! This was the first book I've ever read from Alyssia Leon but, surely not my last! If your looking for a great romance with a great happy ending this is the book for you.... I can't wait to read another of her books! I will most surely be reading another one of her books, she's a great author.
Nathan was a certified jerk who never grew on me. Aura was very naive and weak minded. No way would a mentally sound woman be called ugly names and treated like she was and still be madly in love. I lost interest less than half way through, but pushed on to the end. Not for me.
Loved is story - always love when an innocent woman helps a troubled man find his way even with a few bumps in the road. Thanks for the opportunity to read this book - I really like this style of writing. I will read Alyssia Leon again.
I really enjoyed this book. It was very easy to read and the story was very well written. I really enjoyed the characters too, specially Nathan.I really liked the way he changed from all serious to loving and caring.
Wow, talk.about stuff flying off the pages! There sure have some passion that just can't be helped! He fell in love with her from the first time he met her and then ignored his feelings til he sees her again. Love how the passion exploded.off the pages 💗
a very good writeup..... the romance was so refreshing....loved ur style of presenting &writing a story... i fell in love with Nathan & Aurora....thank u somuch for dis book
I love how Alyssia describes her characters in such detail. I feel like I know them personally. An excellent read with so many twists and yet it all made sense. Loved it. Thank you!!!!
This is first book I read by this author. Certainly won’t be the last. I liked the characters and well developed and well written plot. Also the setting was amazing. The epilogue was great. This book surprised me in a good way and captured my attention from the first page. Loved that it was told and written in dual POVs so I could see and understand both characters’ opinions and thoughts.
Nathan and Aura were great characters and so amazing together. They have so much chemistry and their connection is just beautiful. Aura has loved him forever and he had feelings for her which he was trying to ignore. He has a troubled past, childhood and absentee father which made him the not relationship type. Until Aura. She changed everything for him. But between them are years of betrayal, hurt and lies. In order to be together they need to put away the hurt and lies. I loved Aura so much: she’s a superb heroine – so strong and tough and yet vulnerable. I admired her strength. The more they spent the time together the more feelings grew. Nathan was really a great hero – he’s not broken he’s just bent a little by his past and he’s afraid to show love or get attached or his vulnerability. He is strong and alpha dominant. Aura and Nathan really compliment each other and are each other’s match.
The epilogue really was just beautiful, heartfelt and amazing. I loved it.
Aurora has been in love with her step-brother Nathan for years. When she was younger she was definitely not on his radar, so she thought.
Now that Nathan is stuck staying with Aurora and her mother for a week while he recovers from his accident all the old feelings come back to the surface. On top of him being home, she ends up being alone with him while her mother leaves town. The chemistry between them really heats up. Could she finally lose her virginity to the one man she has always loved?
“Your slut games don’t affect me. When I sleep with you, it’ll be on my damn terms, not yours.”
Nathan at times was an a$$ to Aurora. The chemistry between these two came right off the pages. He was surprised to find that Aurora was still a virgin.
She was an innocent who had no clue about the rules of the game she’d just played, and he didn't intend to saddle himself with any complications.
This is a great steamy story. Alyssia Leon does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing. We get to see a great HEA for these two. If you're looking for a great romance, 1-click and get started today.

She’s loved him since she was 10 and he was 16. He gets hurt and comes to her Mum’s house to recover. Now they get together, but she’s sure he’ll leave her. He finally realizes that she it for him
Omg...I have never been on two minds while reading a book....Alyssia Leon....you have got a awesome talent to keep the readers hooked to the book....I have complete half of the book and still could not take Nathaniel Traver or Aurora Willis side...both of them are such a strong character that I am split thinking who is loosing or who is winning...this is going to be my best #winterread so far....I am really enjoying reading this Second Chance novel....Keep up the good work....
