A handy visual guide to all the major Scotch whisky distilleries with glossy color photos and a simple one-page description of their histories, stories, and major stories expressions, though of course the 2017 edition is now 5 years out of date and there are quite a number of factual errors, off-target tasting notes, and dubious claims of how important the purity of Scottish water is to the flavours.

Ideally suited to get a clear idea of what’s out there without excessive geeky detail.
