A lot of cute moments between Sawako and Shota, and some development on Shota's part that's been a long time coming (but isn't that how it usually goes with this series? lol).

Kind of saw something with Ayane coming a few volumes ago. No spoilers, but we'll see how this development is handled; so far, so good.

3.5/5 A bit better than the last volume but still kind of just more of the same.

First couple chapters deal with Shota and his relationship with his father. They were ok. We also have a chapter again on Ayane and her feelings regarding Pin.

The highlight for me was the amusement park date for Sawako and Shota. It was the silver lining to this volume.

I was trying to do a volume a day but I’m coming to the end, the volumes have been really short, and I wanna finish it up. 3 volumes left.

Cute picture of Shota and Sawako on the cover.

wowza so much happened from kazehayas relationship with his dad (which was actually really sweet, his dad actually really loves him (T-T) ) to a really cute day with sawako and kazehaya going to the amusement park together which made me miss going if I’m honest! to ayane admitting to the girls she has feelings for their teacher 😭

I really like the chapter with Kazehaya and his dad, how Kazehaya finally talk about his thoughts and we got to see Kazehaya's father feelings too, that it just a case of lost-in-translation. Kazehaya's father isn't good with expressing himself so he looks stoic and restricting but he actually happy & proud of Kazehaya and want the best for him, it's really heartwarming how their relationship get better. Kazehaya and Sawako's relationship! that chapter 110, I'm glad they have each other that they know each other well. Then the last chapter, I'm just happy when I saw Chizuru, Ayane, and Sawako's hang out together and talks about their thoughts, it just heartwarming for some reason.

Sawako has been thinking about Kazehaya-kun all summer, though they've not seen each other very much. When he suddenly calls her to tell her his mother is in the hospital and he's been trying unsuccessfully to make dinner, she immediately jumps to his rescue bringing a full meal. She impresses his father, but he is less impressed with his son. Father and son get into a fight and Shota is finally able to express himself and get his father to really listen to him about what he wants to do with his life. Sawako and Shota go to visit his mother in the hospital and they talk about his dad and how similar the two of them are, and his mom reveals how proud his father is of him (even if he doesn't show it). His father lets him attend university with one major condition, and Sawako wants to celebrate by taking him on a day trip far away, just the two of them. Soon it is time for final exams and everyone is studying hard to get into university. Ayane confesses to her friends that she likes Mr. Arai. Will Ayane be able to tell Pin how she really feels? Recommended for ages 14+, 5 stars.

The last couple of volumes have been kind of hit and miss, so I'm glad the author/illustrator finally got into more meaty storylines, i.e. Shota and his father finally talking and him figuring out what he wants to do with his life. I wished that Sawako and Kazehaya-kun had made more progress towards a post-high school relationship, but hopefully that will come soon. The two of them are so freaking adorable together, the way they are always taking care of each other. I hope Shota proposes in the future and they can move in together.

On to the parts I enjoyed. I liked it when Shota's younger brother Tota kept teasing them about acting like newlyweds because they were acting so cautious and nervous around each other, when Sawako brought dinner to their house. I liked that Shota tells Sawako that she is his inspiration for telling his father the truth, that part was really sweet. I loved Shota finding that drawer full of stuff his father collected from him over the years to prove how much he really loved him. He really needed to know the truth - that his dad was not the hard ass he always pretends to be, but really cares deeply for him.

Disclaimer: I received a copy of the book from Simon and Schuster (Viz Media LLC) in exchange for my honest review.

Comenzaron a desbordarse."

Will there ever be a real conflict from here on out? Char.

I enjoyed reading about the quirks of Kazehaya's family. Personally, I'm glad there's no real complicated and irritating characters here. (Could it be too good to be true?)

And Sawako just keeps on getting perfect. I'm also reading a book about "demons", and energies, right now. And I feel like Sawako would fit right in on those who have pure, "high frequency" energy, despite her seemingly Sadako physical vibes.

And I really love the friendship of the weirdo trio - Sawako, Yano & Chizu. I've mentioned it a lot of times, but they're quite very different, but their friendship is so genuine. I don't think this is too good to be true, because there are friendships like that. Especially in high school. It's usually only when you get older that you realize more what your likes and dislikes are. And despite those, if the friendship is the tried and tested kind, it can survive to adulthood.

I love the scenes most na maiiyak ka na, tapos bigla kang matatawa. Hahahaha!

Last but not least, c'è la questione Ayane/Pin, che mi lascia un po' perplessa.

I particularly enjoyed this volume because we got more depth into Kazehaya's character and his relationship with his father. Not gonna lie, it brought up many feelings in me and almost made me cry in public.

I also love that Sawako finally made up her mind about college and told Kazehaya without beating around the bush. Love to always see her grow as this story progresses (that chapter at the theme park was LOVELY).

Last chapter focused on Ayane's feelings for her teacher, and I thought it was very good. I liked that she came clean to Chizu and Sawako, and that she is very aware of the very compromising position she is in. I wasn't sure about this arc at first, but it seems like the author is handling it with the maturity and delicacy it deserves. So, I'm looking forward to the next volume.

As always, Karuho Shiina is very good at exploring complex emotions and situations at the adolescent stage of life in a very easy-to-digest way with very lovable and developed characters. And the art has only gotten better!

How cute. Just when I was feeling "oh well, this love story has stretched too long" something new happens that makes me go all awwww. I honestly didn't like the first 2 episodes that much, with the whole Kazehaya and his father thing, it was a bit MEH, but the other chapters compensate this volume.

Last holidays for our boys and girls. Sawako is finally being "selfish" and asks Kazehaya to go on a date, far away, just the two of them. And how cute is Kazehaya with her! His words of support "do your best" and "you can do it" were so moving... he has always supported her ^_^

Chizu is as funny as ever with her support for Ryu and Ayane. She is also surprisingly intuitive.. she can tell Ayane is being weird, but it is Sawako who realizes that Ayane is in love ^_^ And Chizu trying to cheer Ayane up was hilarious as ever XD

I finally got my hands on the next volume. It has been a few months since I read the previous volume and though I re-read volume 26, the gap between the two has made it difficult to return to the enthusiasm I had for the series. I am confusing events from this series with others and it is so annoying when I have been waiting for this volume for a long time. Ugh, anyway, I did enjoy what happened in this volume. Not much really went down, but it was still very nice to read. I am not going to survive having to wait until January for the next volume.

I’m on the last stretch and now I don’t want it to end T.T at this point it only keeps getting better. All the relationships are just getting stronger Sawako and Kazehaya, Chizu and Ryu even though eventually they will be separated to go to university.

I loved that we not only see the redemption of Kurimi on the previous volumes but now we also see Kazehaya’s dad showing a side of him that at children we are not able to understand when we are young.

I love how all those ends and conflicts are been wrapped up. And I can’t wait for Ayane and Pin to have some development!

Somehow it is already winter once again?! But I guess this isn’t a completely unrealistic representation of how time feels in your last year of high school.

This volume focused on Sawako and Shota and each one vocalizing their aspirations to those around them. Uhhh other vocalizing came from Ayane who def has a crush on Pin. This seems (and has seemed all along) to be one-sided despite Pin’s rude jokes like when he thought Kurumi was confessing to him.
