I ADORED this book. It is FAR FAR better than the first in the series...

Lexi Bennett is the sister of Grayson and the BFF of Pippa (the couple from book 1) She is a workaholic that runs a wildly successful restaurant. Jake runs his father's construction business and sings with his old band Waking the Fallen on the weekends. When these two lay eyes on each other, nothing will ever be the same...

This was simply a super sweet and SMOKIN hot read. Both Jake and Lexi were likable characters. It's VERY insta-everything, but it worked for me here. No other women or other man drama. Very little angst, and a tear worthy epilogue. Two thumbs up from yours truly.

Ms Andrews never disappoints in her story telling. Ahhhh! I love Jax and Lexi. This is a wet dream/one nightstand come true for Lexi. A hot rockstar, honey doer all in one big package. And to top it off man is best friend with her brother who is marrying her best friend. The chase these two do is hot hot hot!! I didn't want to put my kindle down. Excellent job!! A must read.

I have really been looking forward to this story. I liked the first book in this series (Cupcake) and I was hoping this would be that sweet, smutty safe read that book 1 was. I was not disappointed! As much as I adored Grayson and Pippa, I loved Jax and Lexi even more.
Jax is a dirty talking alpha male who also is the lead singer of a metal band a couple weekends a month. Although he has been that bad boy rocker in the past, events changed his life and he decided to leave that behind and take over his father's construction company. On one of his weekend sets at the bar his band performs at, he sees his future (Lexi) front and center stage. He immediately seeks her out and oh what a night they had.
Lexi is sometimes too focused on the success of her restaurant and never let's go and has fun. At the prompting of her friend, she somehow winds up at a whiskey bar listening to a metal band. They are front and center when she looks up and fall instantly for the lead singer. She is shocked by her reaction. because she falls hard and fast. Now she just has to convince her brother to get on board.

-hot sex scenes
-absolutely no ow/om drama
-no cheating
-very minor pushing away (less than a day)
-HEA with a sweet epilogue
The first scenes with Jax I was a little apprehensive because I though he was going to be that arrogant rocker. I was dead wrong. He was confident yet when it came to Lexi, he was head over heels. So sweet and giving. He was the perfect alpha hero. He had been a bad boy rocker in the past but he was nothing like that now. This book was hot, sweet and safe from any kind of cheating or ow/om drama. Refreshing

Lexi is a chef, who spends most of her time worried about work. She lets herself have fun one night and goes out with her friend to a bar where a band is performing.
Jax is a retired rockstar turned construction worker, and when he sees Lexi he instantly wants her. So he gets her.
This read was pretty good. If you're looking for something with lots of naughty bits and InstaLust. Then, look no further! The couple falls in love pretty quickly, BUT I will say that the author does a good job of making a connection between them afterwards. I love that their relationship grew, and that they were actually compatible outside of their instant attraction.
All in all a really good read!

This was a great short read. While the story was short, there was still a decent storyline to go with the sexy times. I loved Jax. He is such an amazing H. Grayson disappointed me in this story. I understand being protective but he went a bit far. It was great getting more Pippa as well. I can't wait to read more from this author.

Admittedly, the insta-love/ romance in this case was far-reaching and bland (I favored book one in this series more), but the smutty action was delicious! Although I didn't feel the connection between the two main characters and the VERY noticeable editing issues was off-putting, the smutty goodness was a sweet treat!!
I enjoyed those parts VERY much and if I had to rate this book based solely on the intimacy scenes, it would score at 4-5 stars. The rest of the story and unnecessary drama created by Grayson (from book one) was just okay.

Jax and Lexi may or may not have topped Pippa and Grayson for me. Such a cute story. As always M Andrews gives us sexy and fun but with a dash of feels. Love love love!! Definitely a must read!!

It's like a daily dose of erotic hotness that will leave you flushed and bothered. And the characters will just pull you in even more!
I love Jax Sanders and all his bad boy glory, dirty mouth and hard body. His supportiveness through it all for Lexi, his belief in her, his will to fight for her and prove just how much he felt for her even in just a short period of time reeled me in. He was so far from what I expected. He was so tough on the outside, yet he has so much softness in the inside! For Lexi, her drive and passion to thrive and live her dream is so admirable. She has that sweetness, but at the same time, she has this fight in her too.
You guys have to meet this man and witness how he was with his Lexi Bennett. Let's see if you don't swoon, drool and melt into a puddle of goo by his feet.

What a sexy and sweet read, perfect for an afternoon at the beach!
We met Lexi and Jax in book 1 of the Sweet & Sticky series, Cupcake, and after that I knew I couldn't wait for their book. And the author did not disappoint!
It was everything I wanted and oh soo much more!! Their attraction and the intensity of their love was amazing. And Jax, his inner alpha really made me fall in love with him....and of course his determination and desire for Lexi was pretty damn hot too.
I cannot wait for the next book in this series! Love Love Love it!!!

Sweet Seduction is fun, sexy, short read and I loved this book. I thought Lexi and Jax couldn't top Pippa and Greyson but I was completely wrong. Jax and Lexi didn't play any games. They both knew what they wanted and both went for it. I can't wait to see what Melissa has next for us in her writing!

This book is a fast read and has no cheating , no drama , but with lots of steamy sex and lots of attraction and chemistry between the main characters .

Jax is the lead singer of his band who is a tatted sexy God and also has the most dirtiest mouth ever . At first I was preparing myself for him to be some cocky bastard , know it all for his last looks and be arrogant. But he was the complete opposite . He wanted Lexi from their one night Stand.
Lexi is is the owner of a very popular restaurant that is doing so well that she wants to open another shop with her best friend . Lexi is stubborn, beautiful and very sassy and funny. Lexi and Jax encounters were amazing and they are so suited .

I am so glad I had the chance to read this book! Sweet Seduction by M. Andrews is the second book in the Sticky Sweet Series. It's a super easy and quick read that is truly sticky sweet. This story is about Lexi, a restaurant owner that is truly a workaholic and Jax, a lead singer in a band with a free spirit. As soon as they meet, their chemistry is unparalleled and they must have each other. Will Jax be able to show Lexi how to live a little? Or will she revert back to her old ways and push Jax away?

Too Rushed
I loves me some insta-love but this was just too rushed for me. It lacked a connection at the beginning between the two characters to make it believable. I don't know, I just wasn't feeling it.
There also were quite a few grammar errors, too, which made it a little distracting.

I can't believe it's over! One minute I'm tearing through the pages then I hit the prologue!!! I need more! I don't want it to be over!! Jax and Lexi's story is sickeningly sweet and smutty just how I like it! I literally had a cheesy ass smile plastered on my face the whole time and tons of tingles everywhere! I love this woman and her books!

I won an ARC of Sweet Seduction and just got done reading it. I can't give enough stars for this book, I think M. Andrews is really going to make her name with this one! I couldn't put it down, it was sexy and dirty , sweet and romantic all mixed up in a beautiful dimpled package !!! It may just be her best book yet!

I liked this one better than the first book in the series. I felt I got more of a back story on the characters which made me like them more. Your heart just broke for Jax in this book. He is a freaking sweet heart. Love it....cant wait to read about Parker and possible Jen???!?!?!?!

When I first started reading this series, I was in a reading slump like no other. I planned on just reading it to help me with the slump. But then I became obsessed with Cupcake. And now I'm just as obsessed with this book too.
Lexi and Jax met in a dark nightclub. She was in the crowd and he was working the crowd. And since then, it was magic. It had been a while since either one of them had been involved with someone, one by choice, the other not so much. But finally, they get together and it turns into way more than either of them expected.
I really liked the first in this series Cupcake, but I still liked this one better. Maybe because this one had more of a plot. The other was about one thing and it was such a short book, it kind of seemed like it wasn't about much. But this one had a plot and was still about the one thing lol It made the story so much more interesting.
The only thing I didn't like about it was the length! It was so short! She also has books that are a bit longer, so I've been trying to figure out if maybe this series was an accident when she started writing it or what. Whatever the case may be, I like the series regardless of the length and I can't wait to see what else Andrews has up her sleeves.
As for the romance, it was a bit insta-lovely, but I chalk that up to the book being so short. But regardless of how short it was, they were still explosive together. I loved their interactions and I loved how Lexi melted Jax. Exactly the way a relationship is supposed to happen. I also especially loved the ending. Super cute! I wish I had seen what happened with Pippa and Greyson tho. Hopefully there's another book that features them two as well.

DNF... I can't even begin to tell you how disappointing it is to not finish this. The thing that attracted me to this was the inspiration for Jax being my favorite rock singer EVER, M Shadows of A7X. But what a disaster this was. I got about 20% in & couldn't do it anymore. And that was after struggling with the epilogue. There were so many editing errors with grammar & punctuation & the dialogue made me cringe.

So Lexi goes to a local club & sees Jax singing with his band. Insta-lust. So afterward, she's having a drink at the bar & he swoops in & saves her from some creeper getting handsy. Jax is an arrogant jackass. After talking to her for all of 2 minutes, he literally picks her up & throws her over his shoulder & takes her to his truck... UM... HELLO!!!! Stranger danger!!!! Then she pounces on him, 'cause apparently being kidnapped by a stranger is a huge turn on, and proceeds to bone him in the front seat. AND WITHOUT ANY PROTECTION!!! Ew, gross. This is such a huge no-no for me with books. I'm so sick of reading books where the author doesn't think that having safe sex is a big deal, especially with 1 night stands. WTF! I've read a few books recently where this was the running theme. So 2 weeks go by & they run into each other again & she's falling for him. Um, what? Dude, you had 1 night of hot monkey sex & then see him again for like 1 hot second & you claim you're falling for him? OMG, I just couldn't keep going. It was just so bad.
The writing was just so bad, the actions of the characters were so ridiculous & they didn't hold my interest in any way.

So Lexi goes to a local club & sees Jax singing with his band. Insta-lust. So afterward, she's having a drink at the bar & he swoops in & saves her from some creeper getting handsy. I love these hot quick sexy little reads!!! The ones where the guy and the girl fall in love right away and can't keep their hands off of each other. Jax still looks like the bad boy but he has cleaned up his act. He has his own company that he took over from his dad and still plays in a band a few nights a month. He is responsible and hot as sin with those to die for dimples. Lexi is the head chef and owner of a hot southern comfort food restaurant and has seductive curves and blonde curls that you just want to touch. The second Lexi makes eye contact with Jax while he is on stage she just knows that he has changed her life forever. And he feels the same way once he sees the blonde bombshell make eye contact with him. They are passionate and on fire with each other. They love each other deeply and would do anything to make each other happy. Jax is so sweet and loving and gentle and worships the ground that Lexi walks on. She opens up to him and finally lets go and just has fun. they are perfect for each other!!!! Love them!!!! And it was so much fun to get a bit more of Pippa and Grayson!!!

CUPCAKE was by far my favorite M. Andrews book. . .it's still VERY close to being tops for me. Sweet Seduction is my LOVE, though. I beta read and gave my honest opinion while/during and after M. Andrews wrote Jax & Lexi's story. I love those two. This is a super hot read. It's the 2nd book in the Sticky Sweet Series... Jax is LIFE! M. Picked a muse for Jax & rolled straight into this story and I couldn't be happier. The details she wrote about Jax and Lexi are on point. The chemistry between these two "a bombshell chef and a lead singer in a metal band" turned into the sweetest story. I just fell in love EVEN MORE with every chapter.

In the second book from the 'Sticky Sweet' series we meet the independent, strong, and sassy Lexi Bennett. We also meet the dimpled hot lead singer from Waking the Fallen, Jax Sanders.
I wish the story was a little longer and got to know more about their pasts but it was short, sweet, and hot. I loved Lexi she was so sassy and took crap from nobody. And Jax.... he is such a sweetheart and loves Lexi so fiercely.
I cannot wait for her shared wedding with Pippa in the next book.
Loved Pippa and Jen. Hope mybe she gets paired with Parker. That would be a good next book.
