Ashlynn vowed to stay away from men, when her ex abused her and she walked away. Starting over was hard enough and even though her best friend tries to get her out of her quiet cocoon she is not interested. That is until Axel enters the picture, she is drawn to him but weary of what they could become.

JB Heller has rewarded us with another addition to her Attraction Series, and Fierce Attraction - Book 3 is a quick and exciting read with 200 pages of sweet and sexy romance, humor, intrigue, playful antics, sibling hijinks, amusing pick-up lines, and fun loving yet foul-mouthed he-men. I enjoyed every page of it, as I have every other tale from the talented Ms. Heller.
Ashlynn is beyond socially awkward and prone to panic attacks, but she catches Axel's eye and he is instantly smitten. Despite all the risks and past history to work through, they are perfect for each other and of course their sizzling sensual chemistry speeds that process along. The storyline was engaging, the characters were endearingly flawed and highly lovable, and the writing was humorous and easy to follow. JB Heller remains one of my favorite Aussies of all time.

This is Axel and Ashlynn's story. I have been eagerly awaiting Axel's story!
Ashlynn is very distrustful of men thanks to being attacked by her ex boyfriend.
She is still plagued with anxiety attacks and is content with working in the library surrounded by the comfort of her books. The only men she wants in her life are the book boyfriends she reads about in her romance books.
Axel knows that Ashlynn is the one for him the moment he sets his eyes on her. Axel tries to pursue her but is rejected. He can sense her distrust and caution and vows to take it slow. But he knows in his heart that she will be his.
I love the patience and understanding that Axel shows with Ashlynn. He knows he needs to earn her trust and does whatever he can to prove to her that he is the man for her.
I loved seeing Axel's soft side and to see Ashlynn blossom the more time she spends with him.
This is a quick and sweet read that definitely falls in the insta love category which I absolutely love. I love Heller and everything she writes.

this is the first book from JB Heller ive read, i cant wait to read more.
This book hit home for me being broken by something in your past. It has it all love and action keeps you reading wanting to find out if Axel can fix Ashlynn who thinks shes "all kinds of fucked up" shes to broken to let anyone in. Axel is a broken soul aswell and cant give up on her, he helps her take back control of her life.
Great read, loved the brotherly love hate relationship. Loved the whole book nothing not to love.

This could have been so good, but poor execution, awkward verbiage, and it needs a professional editor! I loved the premise, but it was too painful to finish.
Just one example of editing issues, and there are many more.
At 15% percent,"When I was five, and my bothers found a stash of clothes mum hadn’t given away upon the arrival of her healthy 9lb 5oz baby boy, me." (I think the author meant brothers, not bothers.).
Dual POVs, but male POV had a more feminine tone. Amateurish writing. Needs work.
My opinion. You may love it.

I absolutely devoured this book. Axel was a treat to read and Ash was such a good fit for him. Alpha male meets nerdy librarian...the plot was well written with the right amount of humor, sizzle and action. I loved all the other book references as well. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series now!!

MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS - This is a new author for me and I really enjoyed this book. I bought it by accident, clicked the wrong box. :) Axel is a private investigator whose friends are all settling down with wives and families, giving him the urge to find a good woman and build a relationship. Librarian Ashlynn is out of his dreams with her Irish red hair and curvy body - but she's messed up & shy & definitely not up for dating an alpha male hottie. My favorite part of the book is when Axel asks his friends for advice on how to approach Ashlynn, gently as a friend, to prove he's trustworthy & safe. It takes a lot of guts to deal with his friends teasing him in order to get the right approach. Ashlynn's past comes back to haunt her and of course Axel's expertise makes it so he can keep an eye on her ex to make sure nothing bad happens, and yet Ashlynn is in danger anyway. Short and sweet, nice love story with just a touch of angst.

Fierce Attraction is the third book in the Attraction Series. I absolutely love this series. This book is about Ashlynn; she was attacked five years ago by her boyfriend so needless to say she is very skeptical about men. Axel was drawn to Ashlynn. He is determined to help her work through her issues and overcome her past. This book is a great quick read. It is funny, romantic and full of some of the best pick-up lines ever. Like I said I love this series and highly recommend all three of the books. I look forward to seeing what is next for J.B. Heller.

I was fooled at the beginning of the book, thinking it was going to be more light hearted than it predecessors in the series with a cute opening scene in a library with Axel reading his nieces a story. A hot librarian with a sad past and trust issues meets a hot PI who only wants to protect her.
Ashlynn was a breath of fresh air she was confident in her own domain and through the novel she was pushed out of her comfort zone and had to learn to trust again. Not only that, but Ashlynn is a librarian with a love of books and a plethora of fictional boyfriends. This only endeared the character to me all the more.
Axel is a character who I’ve had a soft spot for. He seemed like the younger brother of the group as the others found their loves and built their families. It was great to see him getting his own story. The pair together were too sweet. This was a slow burn romance with trust and love being built as the story progressed along.
With romance, heat and action J.B. Hellers books are always a great read and I loved seeing Axel get his day.

Here Axel falls for Ashlynn, a really shy girl who had a huge problem with a guy in her past, so she’s quite gun shy. Axel tries to go out with her, even pretending to want to be her friend in order to get closer to her. At one point, this made me uncomfortable because if she says no, then that really should be it - there should be no ifs, ands or buts... & this about the time when he told her, “you will be mine” which made me think it was a bit too much. I realize the story would not have been a story at all if they don’t get together, but she could have just given him mixed signals & that would have been better than him just trying to push her into a relationship (despite how yes, I know, his intentions as a character were all good for her - & this might be a take that is too realistic).
Aside from that, Axel seems a bit immature... He won’t feed ducks because it’s not a “manly” activity, & when he’s upset he hits the wall with his hand hard enough to have to repair the plaster. Ugh....

( I kind of like those bad*ss heroes who pine for THE girl when they are the last one of their group not to have found love)
Ashlynn is a librarian who does her best to stay invisible and is definitely not looking for love, given what she went through with her ex.
A chance meeting and Axel is sure Ashlynn is the one. Now how to make her see that?
The most charming aspect of their story for me, was that why the bad*ss alpha hero pursues the girl, he doesn't make an *ss of himself doing it. More too often in similar stories, the hero keeps pushing until the girl changes her mind, making him a bit of a bully, not Axel.
Understanding what's at stake he quickly does his best to woo her gently.
JB Heller has woven another cute romance with a touch of suspense, where the alpha gets his girl.

Awesome read
Axel and Ashlynn love story is phenomenal.
Ashlynn is a quiet, beautiful, librarian who for five years has kept to herself.
Axel hot, sexy PI who has a heart of gold and has his own demons.
They meet at a library where Axel goes to spend time with his nieces aka friend's kids.
Axel feel a strong connection to Ashlynn however she doesnt want anything to do with him. Or so it seams.....
Their story was written beautifully
Characters were well developed
Love the secondary characters as well
Emotions were all over the place. It had angst, angry Axel, friendship, family, lust, love, and sexy and sensual bedroom scenes.
Highly recommend

Five years ago Ashlyn’s ex-boyfriend destroyed her. When Axel meets her, he knows that Ashlyn is the woman he’s meant to be with. Axel just has to prove to her that he’s worth it.
Fierce Attraction was an okay book. Axel was a little over the top. Although he would never harm Ashlyn in any way, instead of coming across as a sexy alpha, Axel was more of a hothead with a quick temper. Ashlyn was a little too naive at times, and I had a hard time developing any deep feelings for her. It wasn’t a bad book, it just didn’t do much to grab my attention and pull me in.
This story is told from dual POVs, has instalove and a happy ending.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is book 3 in the series and hope there are more! I love this group and definitely want more.
Ashlynn has lived through a tragic accident five years ago. She never wants to be hurt again and doesn't trust easily. So she is really confused when a hunk of a man comes into the library toting three adorable girls and she instantly feels safe around him.
Axel is sick of being the third wheel of his group. He's ready to find his one. He never expected her to be at the library.
I enjoyed this book and definitely want to see more from them.

Loved Axel's Story
I've loved Axel throughout this series so I was really excited to read his story and once I started I couldn't put it down! Axel's relationship with Gabe, Kai and their girls was sooo adorable and I love how Bray and Dex were more involved in this last book. I really wish this series had more as I am now sad that it has ended, guess I'll just to find more from J.B. Heller and fall in love with more of her hot characters!

First book from this author for me. I read another review somewhere about how they thought the writing sounded a bit immature or something to that nature. And yep I see where they were coming from but I still liked it once I looked past it. It wasn't all bad. H, reformed man-ho, sees h and knows she's the one. He stopped his man ho ways just before meeting the h. h has had a rough go and decided she was ready to let go and get what she wanted in life. Laughed at parts, swooned at others.

I loved it ! It was a lighter read set in a small town around a wonderful family of side characters. Ashlyn had been attacked by her ex boyfriend and had trust issues but Axel refused to give up on her . He was the perfect protective alpha male . This writers style reminds me of Harper Sloan and Aurora Rose Reynolds writings and they are some of my favorites . I will definitely continue this series !

This is the first book I have read by this author and I have to say I was very impressed, Axel is your sexy badass alpha male, but he's got big heart and you will definitely fall in love with his character!! Ashlynn thinks she broken and so messed up but she's strong and feisty and the perfect match for Ashlynn, this was such a fantastic story!! Very well written, I think I found a New author thank you!!

So bad! This guy says he wants to be friends because the girl said she doesn't date. Instead of trying to make her comfortable, he immediately proposes they have sex, as friends usually do. "I'm just kidding... Unless you gonna do it." He says she is smart but they only had one interaction where she reads a story to kids. So wearing glasses automatically means you are a smart person? Not if you don't even know how to do a safety check with a friend.

Not my favorite of the series
I love the storyline but it was too dramatic. The characters took every situation and turned it into an over dramatization of their moods and it was distracting. I still love the gang of characters but i wished there wasn't so much drama. It didn't seem real to me and it was over done.

Awesome
I bought this book as a special, not knowing anything about the author, I like to be surprised. And I was. What a fantabulous read . It's been a long time since a book has left me so engrossed and unable to put down. The characters were so well formed. The storyline was great. I would happily recommended this book to anyone.

It's been a long time since a book has left me so engrossed and unable to put down. The characters were so well formed. The storyline was great. I would happily recommended this book to anyone.

Axel and Ashlynn's story was my favourite in the Attraction series so far. Axel is such a lovable guy and is determined to break down the walls Ashlynn has put up due to an abusive past relationship. It made me giggle and swoon. Definitely a series must read.

I have loved everyone of the books in this series
I loved Axel in Pure Attraction. This is a great book in this series. Ashlynn is a great character and I am glad she found Axel. I would recommend this book.
