With enemies closing in from all sides, Xemion must make a choice between his beloved and his destiny as a mage.
In Book 3 of the Spell Crossed series, young Xemion now has great power as a mage and as a warrior. But none of that means anything to him if he cannot bring back his beloved Saheli. To complicate things, he is caught up in so many crossed spells that it seems he can’t make a move to attain one desire without destroying another. With enemies closing in on the Phaer Republic from all sides, Xemion must make a choice between his spell-crossed love and his destiny as a mage. And with war looming, the evil Montither is set on taking care of Saheli once and for all. Can Xemion save her in time without losing all he has worked for?

I want to start out by stating that I have received this book as a Goodreads Giveaway. I did enjoy reading it and found it to be a pretty fast read with the characters being very interesting. That being said I do not feel that this is a stand alone book as I did end up having to go back to the first and second books to fill in some of what I felt I was missing having not read them from the beginning.
