Ősi Kapocs: A magyar-etruszk nyelvrokonság

Rate this book
This volume is a translation into Hungarian by Puskár Krisztián from its original 2003 Italian version, "Etrusco: Una forma arcaica di ungherese." Exploring the ancient language connections between Etruscan and Hungarian, the author and language professor posits that both etymological and archaeological evidence point to such a relationship having existed in the distant past. As a result, Alinei is counted among those who say that the Hungarians were already in the Carpathian basin prior to their traditionally-accepted time of conquest (at the turn of the 9th and the 10th century).
