The Adventure Continues From author Golden Czermak, comes the penultimate installment of the captivating Journeyman Series.
Emboldened, Dajjal’s forces have begun attacking openly in the streets, spreading fear and pain across the globe. The Order prepares to counter the Infernal Tide in Paris, else be swept away in its firey waves.
Meanwhile, Marcus must overcome past issues with his brother Ty while they search for a cure to heal the love of his life. The road leads them to the mysterious commune of Rennes-le-Chateau in France.
All was going so well, Then Hell Followed with its own moves, threatening the world with eternal fire and shade.
In the beginning, Golden worked the standard corporate rat race, completed college for a Chemical Engineering Degree, and began a small photography company on the side. Since then, and the growth of the FuriousFotog brand, Golden became an internationally published modeling/fitness photographer and eventually began working as a book cover model.
Having been in the industry for at least six years, he has interfaced and networked with countless authors and other clients. As part of his work as a photographer, he worked with them to create book cover images - now numbering over 550 at the beginning of 2018.
Learning the ins and out of the book world, along with being an avid reader and storyteller himself, Golden finally decided to write and publish his first book, Homeward Bound, in 2016.
If you haven't read this series thus far you are missing out on a absolutely amazing ride!! This is a really hard review to write because I don't want to give anything away. At the end of The Devil's Highway my mind was spinning trying to guess what Golden had in store for us with Then Hell Followed. Don't even try to think like him it's impossible!!! What I thought might happen didn't at all!! I was so wrong! You might ask can the series get better? The answer is HELL YES!! I know it doesn't even seem possible but it happen.
While I am reading I love to be able to visualize the story. What I have never had happen is the feeling that I'm a part of this world and feel the angst each of them feel. When they are successful I celebrate and when they are defeated I feel their pain. The details as well as the descriptions of each and every scene is PHENOMENAL!! This battle to save the world is filled with some much action, adventure, happiness and tears! When I say tears I literally had to stop and get control of my emotions, ugly cry really doesn't even come close.
The best way for me to describe what I am feeling as I finished this installment was a overwhelming need to have more. I know I'm rambling but this book absolutely had me from beginning to end on the edge of my seat. I cheered for the Journeyman with their victories and cried when they were defeated. Dajjal is a badass evil demon that you are begging for him to get what he deserves to be crushed. The battles are getting more INTENSE and I for one can't wait for the final installment Running on Empty it will be bittersweet. This is one of those series you never want to end.
As with all the books in this series, Then Hell Followed is amazing!! It’s full of intensity, imagination, and creativity. These characters have made their way into our hearts and we love them. I mean really, how could we not?
In Then Hell Followed, we have some big things happening- I won’t spoil the story for you but I will say a few things:
The Journeymen continue to save the world from evil and of course, Dajjal is making it hard, as usual. We have some very emotional scenes in Then Hell Followed. The Journeymen have become close with each other and being their journey takes them through some difficult situations. It’s tough seeing some of what they go through but it’s worth the read.
Dajjal- This guy. He was my boy in Book 3- I loved him. In Book 4, he was getting on my nerves. Well in this one, I was back to liking him. Not so much the evil, pain, and destruction he causes, but the action and intensity that are a part of the scenes he’s in. I found myself looking forward to the parts he was in and getting excited even when cursing him for what he was doing.
And the end. Talk about an ending. I’m not giving it away but OMG. Golden was EVIL. EVIL. This series is much more than just PNR. It’s a well written, creative, emotional journey full of action and adventure you will love!
HOLY CRAP!!! I am sitting here in shock. This book has stunned me silent and has my head spinning. This series is absolutely amazing!! Each book is so filled with details it honestly reads like a movie. It literally comes to life right off the pages. But this one, this one broke me. My heart was shattered by a selfless act of love. I was a blubbering mess! We have the ultimate battle of good versus evil. And a bloodbath of a battle it is, so much death and destruction. Our fearless leader seems to have been beat but has he? Is there hope? Hell I dont know because I am hit with the words THE END. Back to what I said before stunned, shocked and left with my mouth wide open thinking WHAT THE HELL!!!! The only thing saving my sanity is its a double release and I can dive straight into the next and final book! Thank Heavens!!!!
I'm literally stunned and don't even know how to write this review. I've been a big fan of this series since the beginning and each book just keeps getting better and better. I know I sound like a broken record but it's the truth!!
"There are always going to be forces out there to make you feel weak and make you doubt yourself."
This book picks up right where we left off and our Journeymen are feeling defeated and not sure how things are going to turn out. We have Marcus who I have grown to love and he is facing a major crossroad in his life right now. I think we can all relate to Marcus at one point in our lives. That's what I love about these stories the characters are so relatable and you can't help but root for them and want to destroy Dajjal.
Now onto Dajjal, I've been hoping my boy would redeem himself but at this point it's pretty much a lost cause and the destruction and mayhem he has caused is just insane! He is the ultimate bad ass Demon and a small sick part of me loves it!!! I know, I know but I love me a kick ass Demon who is ruthless and brutal. While reading we had several shocking moments that had me cursing the author to hell and I even think I mentioned throwing him off the ferry but that's another story.
One theory of mine did come true and I honestly don't know how to feel. I picked up on these little clues during my re reads and did my best to brace myself but I'm not going to lie it still sucked big time when it happened. I have no idea what this means for the Journeymen. This series has been nothing but an emotional rollercoaster and I'm legit running on empty at this point. Well done (again) Czermak.
OMG what can I say about this book. Book 5 dives to your very heart and touches your soul. As you go deeper and deeper into the Journey man series by this book you feel as if you are in a fight for all of man kind and to save everyone and yourself by the end. As so many elements come into play the final battles begin to rage. Will the journey men all come out still among the living or will some be lost for the greater good. Come join the journey as the battle for Earth come down to good vs evil. What an epic journey that I can't get enough. Golden you have teased the mind and the very soul during this series. 5 stars isn't enough for this book or series.
Golden Czermak wrote a amazing series called, "The Journeyman!" This is the fifth book in the series and had many ups and downs but in a good way. They take you on a journey of saving the life of one of their fellow Journeymen Joey. Once they find the legendary cup they must decide should they take the risk of taking a life to bring back Joey. Oh and don't think Dajjal is gone he is still trying to cause mischief and mayhem for anything good that Gage Crosse tries to do and he still wants to collect all of the 'Solomon Six.'
If you like all things paranormal, then this is the book for you!!! This is Golden's first book series, but you'd never know it by how well it's written. The descriptions are well worded and very vivid. The creatures are interesting, the fight scenes are action packed, and the weapons are sharp and to the point(hehe pun intended). This is book 5 of 6 in the Journeyman series. This is a MUST READ for all you paranormal people!!!
Book 5 of the series will take your emotions on a roller coaster ride!!! Buckle up and hold on tight because this book has it all! Our favorite characters get put through the wringer and once again Golden leaves a reader breathless and wanting more!!!
Then Hell Followed is the fifth book in Golden Czermak’s Journeyman series. This is one story that will absolutely gut you. No doubt about it, make sure you have plenty of tissues and anything else you need to deal with emotional roller coasters. This is one book that you basically need to strap in and hold on tight. The story once again picks up immediately where The Devil’s Highway left off. We find Gage and Marcus going in search of a cure for Joey while also having to deal with the political infighting with the Counsel and the still very real threat of Dijal. I can’t really tell you much else about the story without giving anything important away. I can tell you that there are some things that will make you laugh, some that will make you cry and some that will make you absolutely bawl while your heart is being ripped out. This is one of those series where you have to put your trust in the author that eventually you will understand what he is doing and that everything will work out for the best in the end. Golden’s writing is again simply mind-blowing, I am always in awe of the talent this man has in everything he does. His descriptions will transport you into the story and make you feel like you are right there beside Gage and Ady. Then Hell Followed is available now and the good news is that book six Running On Empty is also available now so you can immediately dive into that once you finish. I am now off to do just that!
I was so excited to get my hands on this book! We are straight off in to the action in the inimitable style of Golden Czermak. I love the descriptive writing style! It really helps you sink straight into this wierd and wonderful world, and holds you there, captivated and waiting. The journey continues, emotionally turbulent and absolutely jam packed full of action! We are off on a other adventure with Gage and Marcus, Ady and Gage and Marcus and Ty. There are ups, there are downs, there are any number of wierd and wonderful creatures - some of which I had to read twice to check I had it right. There are, as expected, some seriously emotional moments in this book. This takes what you feel about love and questions it. There are some amazingly strong relationships in this book; not just romantically but friendship and family too. "Love is pain. It ain't ever easy; nothing that's worth having is." I cant believe he burned a book store ... that's sacrilegious! It's pure craziness! But then there are plenty of crazy action moments throughout the book. This is a real page turner that keeps you captivated right through to the end. And what an end it is! Now I know why you released books 5 and 6 together, the readers might have died or killed you haha
What in ever loving hell can happen next? As I prepare to read book 6 I wonder just what to say about this one. If you haven't read this series so far you really should, there's no way to pick this up at book 2 or beyond, start from the beginning and be sucked in by the genius that is Golden Czermak.
Then Hell Followed of course picks up just where book 5 left off with the crew trying to save Joey. While I was thrilled they found a way, the cost was more than I was prepared for. As they move on and head for the biggest battle yet Gage comes face to face with his mortality. Everyone is coming together to save the world and defeat the demented Dajjal. Not all the Journeymen will walk away in this one so be prepared. The end of this one just no, I'm so glad I have book 6 to step right into so I don't have to yell at the author for leaving us hanging with such life changing ending!
Cleverly written, Then Hell Followed, had me from the beginning. I loved the descriptive telling of the battles and predicaments and the peace that I felt while reading portions of the book. No. I can't say more without spoiling.
Yes, this is a paranormal. Although it's not my favorite genre, I promise this series is worth your time in reading. While the cast of characters is forever placed in situations that are less than desirable, their belief in the fight is absolute.
I've waited quite some time for this book and it was worth the buildup. Now on to book 6, the last of the Journeyman Series, Running on Empty (which has also released). Golden Czermak has a special writing gift and his books are worth the read.
Holy cliff hanger! I did not see that ending coming at all. I have enjoyed this series, but this has been my favorite story so far in the series. My emotions have been a roller coaster with all the ups and downs, tragedy and hope that has occurred in this story. Truly well written and kept a good pace the whole story. Om is so cool, I love learning more about him and cheered when Evans started to ask his question...alas no answer though 😋I can’t wait to read the next book bc no way can I wait after that ending and ...AND I still have my fingers crossed for something to fix what happened in his book to one of my favorites. 🤗
Last time I felt this gutted was when some jerk at the WB came up with idea to kill Buffy Summers!!! Why did it have to end up this way?! Like, I saw it coming, but I just couldn't believe it! ::sob::
This one will break your heart, but you will have the need to continue to read. Your heart will pound tell you get to the end. You will have the need to get the next book to see what will happen next.
Well, we've reached book five in this amazing series, and I've had to take a few days to figure out what I was going to say in this review because holy moly!! Things are just in an uproar right now in this amazingly fantastic world that Mr. Czermak has created. Dajjal is at his most evil in his quest to rule the world. The battles taking place for this domination are epic!!!
We also see Marcus and Gage and what they're trying to do for Joey and what has to be faced to find a cure for him. I literally sat on my couch reading this one with my mouth hanging open for most of the book. Gasps emitting at some of the brutality of the battles. Again, thanks to the words written by this amazing author, picturing these battles were keeping me on the edge of my seat the entire book. I may or may not have yelled at certain characters both evil and do-gooders to "do something!!!"
And because the author is so good to his readers, I don't have to wait to see how this all fleshes out since he kindly released Running on Empty, Book Six, on the same day I can immediately see what happens next.
I'll leave you with this....you may not be a PNR fan, but as I've repeatedly said, this series is SO MUCH MORE than your everyday PNR book and you need to take the chance because you will NOT regret diving into this world head first!!!
A supernatural thrill ride that will leave you speechless...
There were no words when getting to the end of this read wondering and predicting what will happen in the final book "Running on Empty". Your investment in these characters both old and new leave you spell bound to who will survive this demonic apocalypse and who will keep fighting up to the very end. Emotional connections to Marcus and Joey are tested to their limits, will Marcus find what he's looking for to cure Joey? Will him and his brother resolve their past sibling conflicts as they journey together to France to find the Grail for Joey's cure? These questions and more are asked and some are answered but some do come with a price.
Dajjal becomes more sick and twisted in dominating the world, more psychotic in his plans and loving every second of it. I cringed, was shocked, but wanted to read more no matter what because how Golden writes this paranormal world literally feels very real as if these events, both good and evil, are actually happening.
My emotions are running to hell and back. Completely stunned, speechless and wanting so much more.
There is so many things I want to say but afraid I don't want to give away any spoilers. Through this emotional ride, you get connected with the characters. You feel for them. And I can say I was connected with Joey and Marcus. When you love someone who is hurting, you would do anything for them. But how far would you go to save their life? To see a brotherly bond and try to make peace and help for a cure. That's what people do. They come together. But Dajjal has other ideas. He's obsessed with suffering. He wants destruction. But will the Journeymen prevail and save the world?
The way Golden captures the reader is a a real talent. He expresses everything in detail and you visually see it looking through a window. I'm telling you, tears where shed.. damn you Golden! If you haven't started the series, what are you waiting for? You will not be disappointed!
In this installment Gage and the Sheridan brothers go on a mission to save Joey’s life while our demon of the day, Dajjal, is only becoming bolder in his path of destruction of humankind and anyone else who has allied with them. The author will take us again through a range of emotions wider than anyone can possibly imagine when first picking up the books. This book is just amazing and it’s sad I can’t swear here because OMG!! When you think you imagine what comes next, BAM! There’s another twist that leaves your head spinning! I could see a few things coming, but one of them had me in one of the ugliest cries I had in the past 6 months. Previous books of the series had made me emotional, but I never expected a PNR would make me cry so much and so hard…and I still couldn’t stop reading. As with the other books, Golden captivated me with his extensive knowledge and writing style and I’m very thankful I don’t have to wait to read the conclusion which I’m sure is as epic as the Journeymen themselves.
5 stars *An ARC was given in exchange for an honest review*
This is one that I wanted to get in quickly to see what comes next but then sighed remembering this is the second to the last of my love affair of all these guys. Ah Joey just want to wrap around him but this one will be also where he gets his. Up until now we have already been through Hell and back it would seem with many of the characters but reaching the tip of the extraordinary action filled with drama pumps you up more than ever. The battle is going so strong you wonder at times how much more can people take but Dajjal is really just getting started wanting the whole and enjoying every morsel. This author will push all your buttons probably with glee too but top notch writing will do that. The vivid descriptions you can almost see it but would love some photos too lol. Fair warning though by the time you get to end of this one someone maybe should of paid closer attention to warnings in the book for this author will drop a bomb that will leave you paralyzed and stunned.

Golden Czermak is doing something I have to say I am quite thankful for, he is releasing both books 5 and 6 of the Journeyman Series. After reading Book Five, Then Hell Followed, I am even more appreciative of th fact I have the final installment ready to read! Through this book we have the joining of forces, the Council, Journeymen, Shifters, and other paranormal being against the success of Dajjal. We find out what will become of Joey, how Dajjal plans to attempt to begin the apocalypse, and we the fall of so many innocent people at his hand. This book was Edge of your seat exciting, horrific, heartbreaking, heartwarming and overall just hands down fantastic! That is all I will say as I refuse to give away any parts of this story...but you will not be disappointed in how this story arrives at the climactic showdown with everyone's favorite demon we love to hate!
I have read all sorts of books, and all that came before this one by Golden Czermak, each book was better then the one before, in book 5 I was crying because of what happened. And so I do not give much away book 5, wow astonishing fantastically written, the characters came to life before my eyes, and dang it if I did not cry with what happened in the story, spent most of the night crying and reading. The plot was great, I felt part of it even though I was reading. To read of such evil and Dajjal, dang it he is evil personified, and scary yet he is not why I enjoyed the book. I know i'm ranting, but do not want to give the plot away by saying too much. But it was fantastic can't wait to read more of your books.

I'm trying to come up with words for this. Literally just finished and I can't even with that ending! I had such high hopes for the rest of the series for no more emotional moments and almost reduced to tears times but it was rough. This book, like all the rest, was so action filled and so many attempts to try to save the world. The ending almost killed me :( I can't even compute how I think the end will go but all I can do is pray the good guys win! :) All around amazing book though!! Nothing less than expected from Golden Czermak :)
Then Hell Followed This new Author Golden Czermak, never fails to amaze me with every new book he releases. This latest installment just topped all the others and that is saying so much. The highest emotional roller coaster of the year for me. This series just keeps getting better and better. The story pulls you through every emotion, you won’t put the book down. 5 Stars are a joke!! I am just glad book 5 and 6 were released at the same time. There is just no stopping at book 5 now, I have to know what happens NEXT!!!!!
