Return to Sea City and Penny Caspian's oceanfront hotel! Not only are rogue dragons real, they’re attacking my hotel. Every few days, there’s another one, terrorizing me, my unborn baby, my boyfriend Lachlan Flint, my friends, and my guests. I have to figure out what’s drawing them there and stop them from coming, if only because Clarke Gannon the dragon slayer keeps showing up, and I don’t much like her. Lachlan and I are dealing with a case involving stolen magical artifacts and a gargoyle matriarch who doesn’t have much faith in our skills. When the case and the attacking rogues converge one day, we run smack into Lachlan’s past. He used to work undercover for magical narcotics, and now the vampire gang he infiltrated might offer our only hope to stop the rogues and protect our child. But to do that, we’ll need to go undercover again, into the depths of the dangerous magical underworld.

I didn't really like this installment. Penny and Lachlan go undercover and act out of character. It's like Clark Kent on red kryptonite; not pleasant to see your heroes being bad.
Typos: missing word (invite [her] upstairs for drink), "guest" is wrongly singular (The guest ran over the lounge chairs...They tripped over themselves), past is spelled passed (surged passed him), extra word (tackling the Lachlan), incorrect verb (A scream from someone gathered), wrong tense (I lay my cheek against), pecs is spelled pecks, hear is spelled here (Those are some pretty strong words...You don't here people let loose), missing word (said Lachlan in wry voice), you're for your (even you're real name).

Fire Marked is an amazing book. Once I started reading it was really hard to put down. This series makes your mind want more and more. The magical world keeps throwing obstacles at Penny and Lachlan. They go through some hell and back again. They lose their mind for a minute but they come back to reality. Excited to see what's next in the series.

Good

This book got a little dark, I was worried that Penny and Lachlan were going to get lost to the blood bond. I'm curious about the baby's destiny too.

A good review

Loving this series and everything about it. What I do hate is some mistakes that a good editor should have caught. Some words left in that were obviously out of place. Wrong spelling of some words. Still I recommend this as a fun good series and I am impressed by this world and the plotline and the characters!

This book was good but upsetting

Penny and Lachlan are getting power hungry because of the blood bond. They did things that went against they self's.penny turned her back on her friends. In the end they realized what they did wrong

Finally finished. This books was really hard to get through, what Penny and Lachlan do is...contemptible. I just wanted to stop reading. I hope the last two books have a better ending to this story. How she treated her friends...and the rogue dragons. :(
