Alicia Sutherland has a tough decision to make - whats more important to her? Her sense of dignity, or her desire for a roof over her head?
After receiving a startling offer in Illicit Proposal 1, Alicia has a chance to consider Tristan for what he's proposing. She listens to the details with ever increasing horror.
But is that horror greater or less than the fear that she faces if she lets events run their course?
What will her friends say? Will she try to rationalize her decision? Is this really what apartment hunting in New York City has come down to for a beautiful, snarky, young graduate?
There's only one way to find out...
Come enter a world of deliciously snarky dialog and hilariously compelling situations that will make you wonder about love, life, and the role of men in marriage - what role exactly do they play that can't be replaced?
Victoria Cabot is delirious about having fun in every part of her life. Whether that means being outside in beautiful weather, or sitting at home reading a book, you'll never see her go more than ten minutes without smiling. She prefers to write safe, happily ever after pieces that are nevertheless steamy and exciting. She loves bad boys - whether they are princes or billionaires. But she's a very good girl. Really!
And when she says steamy and exciting, she means, well...you'll just have to find out.
She graduated from Brown University with a degree in English Literature and has traveled the world for several years after college before eventually settling down between San Francisco and New York.
When she's not writing, Victoria loves to read, go dancing, and go shopping. Afternoon tea and a glass of wine with bubble baths are two of her favorite things. She loves getting flowers, especially when not expecting them.
For the last year, Victoria has lived in Manhattan with her golden retriever.
Victoria Cabot's "Illicit Proposal 2: The Deal" I thought was a pretty good book, one that to me included a few twists but in the end it all worked out. The storyline was very basic and the plot plain but an overall good read just the same. I'll highly recommend this book and give it a 5-star review rating for being imaginative and fluid.
