But are they ready for the undeniable attraction and desire they both try to resist? Will she stay and fulfill her father’s last wishes or will she let the shards of the past run her away once again?
Wow what a ending and I can't wait to read part 2. I loved Chloe! She didn't play. She wouldn't let her family or friends for that matter break her!. She was the most strongest character I ever read about. Rochelle and Greg, nah they need to have several seats. smh #knldiscussion
OMG I don’t know what took me so long to read this book, but I did and now I’m done! What a whopper of a story, but that ending tho!! I know the second one is coming up and I hope I don’t go into withdrawals waiting!! I don’t know that hoodoo that you do but you do it so well CD Blue, I absolutely luv your work!!
I won this book as a give away by the author and I'm so glad I did. It is a romance novel and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. C.D. Blue has a way with dialogue and characters that keeps you turning the pages. I fell in love with Chloe and Darren and Chloe's grandmother was one of a kind. There were parts of the book that were laugh out loud funny and parts that were serious while maintaining the story line. . The depiction of the events in the attorney's office during part two of the reading of the deceased's will and the revelations that come light was well done and full of surprises. This is the kind of book that allows you to escape to a feel good place for a while!
1st read by this author. I found this to be a mild, easy read. The characters were relatable & the storyline flowed well. The dialogue between the characters was realistic as Rochelle & Mona did not miss a turn expressing how they felt. I thought Chloe & Darren were good for each other. There were some parts with humor for some of these characters were persistent. Overall, I thought this was a good enjoyable read & I look forward to reading other work by this author.
This book is very good. The quality alone was superb. This book had a lot of detail but still kept my attention. There were a few hot and steamy sex scenes but it didnt take over the book. There was love, mystery, betrayal and romance. Make sure To read this.
This is my first experience with the author. I really enjoyed the storyline, character development, pace and conflict. It flowed perfectly and had the right amount of suspense.
All three elements mixed together gives you a page turner with twists that take you in different directions. A good external plot that fleshes out some very real characters and their conflicts. Highly recommend!
