Experience three stories of three young women from Missouri's days of early growth who have lost all hope. Cora dreams of leaving the dull prairie, but a simple farmer could help change her mind. Eliza's hopes for her family are dashed at her mother's death, leaving her to question the intentions of two suitors. Deborah's prospects for happiness are dimmed when forced into marrying a widower with children. You'll find renewed reasons to trust in the power of faith and love within each inspiring romance.

I liked the first two stories better. The third story was probably true to life, but a bit unpleasant in the lack of choice the heroine had in her life.
