I just finished reading Courtney Doctor’s wonderful Bible study, From Garden to Glory, and I highly recommend it to you, especially if you are eager to introduce your women to an overview of the Bible as one glorious, cohesive story of redemption.

I also encourage you to sign up now for the 2018 PCA Discipleship Ministries ONE Conferences in Mississippi, Maryland, Tennessee, and Missouri … Courtney will be teaching us all about Jesus’ high priestly prayer in John 17 – “that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

This was a really great study. It broke down the big story of the Bible in a unique way. I love that there are memory verses. The only thing is that I don't recommend this for someone who is a new believer and/or unfamiliar with the general story of the Bible unless they have a mentor to work with. Overall, I recommend this study to get a better understanding of the Bible and yourself.

My women's group completed the book and watched the accompanying videos. Very rich content with wonderful themes and images especially of God's desire to dwell with His people and His pursuit at all cost to RESTORE, not get rid of and start over, what He made very good. Our calling as Kingdom priests and bearers of His message as well as how to live now while we wait for the King to return were clear beautifully communicated.

A beautiful overview of the whole story the Bible gives us - a story that begins in the garden and ends in glory. I will miss my Thursday nights gathered around the table with my girls reflecting on Courtney's illustrations.

What a wonderful way to understand God's story. Why we are here. What our purpose is. What we have to look forward to. God wants to reconcile us to Himself. I've studied the Bible all my life but this study helps put all the pieces together in a beautiful way.
