Mike

Four years in the joint, and now I'm out.

And the massage therapist at the gym I'm working at is cute as hell.

I want her, but she has some history. She needs someone who'll protect her, at any cost.

I'd do anything for her. I know that.

But with my history, can she believe me when I tell her I'll keep her safe?

Ella

My first husband broke more than just my heart.

It had been six years and I still hadn't let myself open up to anyone.

Until Mike. He's strong, he's sexy as hell, but he's completely wrong for me. He's also an ex-con with links to the mob.

So why do I find my walls crumbling down whenever I'm around him?

Hi! I’m Victoria Villeneuve. I’m a small town girl at heart, with dreams of living in a cabin in the country with my two dogs and my amazing boyfriend Mike. When I’m not writing you can usually find me enjoying a nice mocha in my local coffee shop, reading some of my favourite books by the lake or playing soccer with my friends.

Good read

This had more than one book. I didn't read the next because it's not what I usually read. The first book was a good read. Lot's of drama and sex and some romance. I had a problem about 48% of the book when the bad cop scene and instead of Ella's name they called her Janet. I was like who the heck is that lol. This is a quick read. And they are bad ass together.
