She is an angel. Stumbled right into my life and shone light when I was in my darkest place. And ever since, she’s been lighting the way—guiding me toward happiness.
What an amazing story!! I am going to be honest, I didn’t read the blurb. I just knew that if K. Webster wrote it, then I wanted to read it! I was expecting a dark story and although there definitely were some very sad undertones and our hero has some anger management issues, I found this to be a beautiful and oftentimes funny love story. I can’t even explain properly how much I really fell in love with this one, but if you were to take a look at my ebook copy, you could see that the words definitely moved me. I have countless passages highlighted and it was truly hard to pick just one quote to include in my review, but I knew that others might be considered spoilers and so that did help in the process.
I had a little girl crush on our Heroine, Neesy Noble. She’s a beautiful and exuberant young woman who hopes to start her own publishing house, and in order to get a business loan, she needs to show proof of employment for a minimum of at least ten months. Since she recently lost her job and just started a new one at Hocksted Holdings, her loan application was denied. The position she took at Hocksted Holdings is beneath her skillset but she is determined to stay on in order to get that loan. It does help that the co-owner of the company is ridiculously handsome and has been the star of many of her latest naughty fantasies. When Adrian Hocksted witnesses Neesy calming down a woman’s highly agitated three-year-old son in a restaurant during their lunch hour, he becomes intrigued with the young woman and propositions her with a new job responsibility. She is to come to his house the next morning where he will explain what the new job entails. Neesy, being the silly girl with all these crazy romantic fantasies, thinks that she is signing up to be his sex slave and can’t wait for the kinky times to begin since she’s been going through a dry spell. She is in for a rude awakening when she finds out what Adrian wants her services for.
Adrian is a powerful but insanely beautiful man. He’s the epitome of the powerful billionaire alpha male that I definitely love to read about. But he is seriously dark and brooding and it stems from the enormous amount of guilt he carries in his heart over a tragic accident that occurred twelve years ago. He hires Neesy in hopes that she may be the miracle that his situation needs. He never intended to fall for this beautiful and vibrant girl. When he lets his guard down and gives in to the passion burning between them, well damn, I was definitely feeling my temperature rise to the hot as hell level!! But almost EVERY time, Adrian is consumed with an overwhelming feeling of guilt and anger for having enjoyed himself with Neesy. My heart broke repeatedly for the both of them.
Neesy was just an incredibly lovable Heroine. I found myself cracking up numerous times over her humorous banter and constant mishaps!! The girl should be wearing a helmet and a padded suit because wherever she went Nessy was sure to trip over her feet and end up with a concussion!! I loved her deep sense of compassion and her patience. She knew that Adrian was going through his own personal hell and she never gave him any ultimatums or talked down to him about the life-altering decisions that he had made.
I honestly think it’s best if you are intending to read this book that you only read the non-spoilerish reviews. I left out a big chunk of the drama in this book because I believe you need to go into this one blind like I did. But, damn, I am in awe of K. Webster now! I truly wasn’t expecting this to be an adult contemporary romance with a healthy dose of hilarious humor but now I know the woman can definitely write more than just the dark and erotica based stories.

I was finding myself adding this warning before every spoiler, and then decided to just post it here once. If you have any further questions that weren't answered below, please PM me :) **
Overall Opinion: This book is REALLY tough for me to break-down and rate. I both liked and disliked things about it. I became frustrated by the constant push and pull from the H. Just because he recognized that he was probably going to hurt the h does not excuse the fact that he hurts her!!!! Some of his behavior was even cringe-worthy for me , but then he'd turn around and do something really sweet -- really confusing! On the positive side -- the h made the book for me!! She was funny! She had such a positive and compassionate way that fit really nicely with her quirkiness. I wouldn't necessarily call this book dark (like this author seems to be known for), but it definitely isn't filled with unicorns and rainbows. Like other books from this author, it is not for everyone -- but I can appreciate the author's originality in giving us different type stories! Since I'm so torn about what I feel about this one, im going to go with a middle of the road 3 star rating.
Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is a really hard book to break down without spoiling it, so this'll be extremely brief. This is Neesa and Adrian's story. Adrian witnesses Neesa calming down a boy with autism in the middle of a meltdown one day at lunch, and he decides that she is the perfect person for a personal job he has. He propositions her, and she takes the job. She soon finds out its not at all what she had expected. After spending more time together, they cannot deny the strong pull and attraction they feel towards one another and end up crossing some lines. There is a major roadblock that they have to work through, but they do get a HEA,
POV: This alternated between Neesa and Adrian's POV.
Overall Pace of Story: Good. I never skimmed and I thought it flowed well.
Instalove: No, but instant connection.
H rating: 3 stars. Adrian. I'm not quite sure how to describe him. He was a man full of so much self loathing and anger that he could be nasty to other people because of it, but he also could be sweet at times.
h rating: 4.5 stars. Neesa. I really loved her attitude and quirky ways, but I did want her to demand a little more from the H at times.
Sadness level: Low/moderate. I teared up a few times, but I never needed any tissues.
Push/Pull: Yes
Heat level: Moderate. They were hot! But not so much that it took away from the story.
Descriptive sex: Yes.
Safe sex: No. No condoms were used. No std status, birth control or previous practices were discussed.
OW/OM drama: Yes
Sex scene with OW or OM: Yes
Cheating: Depending on personal opinion, but I say No
Separation: Yes
Possible Triggers: Yes
Closure: This had a couple jump ahead epilogues with a cute HEA.

5 'Crazy & Wacko' stars
This is my first non-cray cray book by K Webster and I think I even like this more than her crazy and dark stuff. Well, let's be honest, her other books mainly makes me uncomfortable, gasping, eyes bulging and eventually fainted. This one is emotional, heartfelt and funny at times.
The blurb actually sounds ambiguous and I don't feel like spoiling too much about the hero's situation. Is really unconventional and delicate. When I found out about it in the beginning, I was really surprised by it. K Webster can't do anything normal, can she?
Adrian's life stop moving 12 years ago. He is in a self imposed imprisonment due to his selfishness and guilt. When he noticed one of his employee that showed so much compassion towards a total stranger, a light bulb went off in his head with an idea that might just turn his life around, even for a little while.
Nessy is an aspiring publisher who is working in Adrian's company bidding her time until she can get a loan to start her own company. She is a crazy, funny and total klutz. But most importantly, she has a heart of a saint.
When Adrian hired Nessy to work for him for something personal at his home, Nessy was in for a shocked about his uptight boss, and before your mind went into the gutter, is nothing kinky. Instead of brushing him off, she decided to help him out despite her disappointment that he didn't hire her for sexual reason.
It goes without saying that these two have total hots for each other and if Adrian is a free man, they will be all over each other right there and then. In fact, when they finally succumb to their desire despite Adrian's feeling is wrong, it makes things even hotter and scandalous.
Many will say Adrian is a total asshat for the hot and cold way he treated Nessy. Sometimes he will be all over her and become a possessive jerk and then when the guilt comes, he lashed out and avoid her. Is something along the line of 'I want her, but I don't want her, and nobody can have her either'. But is hard for me to even hold a grudge on this man because he is always honest to Nessy. I totally understand his predicament and conflicted feelings. I'm just waiting for him to come to his senses.
As for Nessy, she is one of the most understanding, forgiving and patient heroine ever. Some might call her a total doormat, but I disagree. There is a beauty in goodness, so why should I find fault in that. If not for Nessy being who she is, this book will most likely turned into a total angst-filled read.
Untimely You is a multi layered story all wrap in one neat package. Is about forgiving oneself and letting go. Nessy provide the humor, Adrian provide the angst, and they both give us a romance though happened untimely with more than a few bumps in between, we still root for their HEA right till the last page.

Nessy hasn't had the best luck in the last year. All she wants to do is start her own publishing company with her best friend and just be happy. In order to to get the ball rolling on that dream, she needs a loan first and that requires her having a steady income for the year. Determined to get that loan, she buckles down and gets a job. But her new boss has something else in mind for her and her kinky mind cant wait to find out what kind of job it is.
Adrian has been suffering in his own personal hell for the past twelve years. With the kind of tragedy that he's had to endure, he made his life more bearable for him and his son. His company is thriving, his son is now in college and he's trying his best to have some sort of happiness. Watching his new employee Nessy be so thoughtful with others knowing her ability to trip over her feet, he offers her a new job position. But that positon will NOT be coming with benefits.
I really liked that this was a completely different story from Ms.Webster's previous books. Nessy was a walking disaster that quite frankly I feared for her life. She was clumsy but had this quirky vibe about her that made you shake your head but at the same time couldn't help but smile. Did I have issues with her as person? Absolutely. She was waaaay to forgiving in certain situations and I just wanted her to be stronger and stand up for herself more.
As for Adrian, I was saddened with everything that he had to go through and I really felt bad for him but his attitude in certain scenes and how he came off, gave me whiplash and made me angry. I understood his conflictions and knew that he really was at war with his feelings but I didn't like some of his actions. I will say that he was remorseful and I appreciated that but I wanted it to be done sooner.
If you're looking for a completely different story with a touch of forbiddeness, then this is the one for you.

Re-reading this awesome story again. It's one of my faves!

I loved every second of this wonderful story and this one is going into my definite re-read shelf. I can't wait to experience this angsty, sexy read all over again. Adrian was gloriously tormented by his feral attraction to Neesy, and Neesy was freaking adorable. She was hilariously sweet and honest to a fault.
It was absolute whiplash experiencing Adrian's back and forth between his animalistic intimacy with Neesy, then back to his assholish cold distance he would enact to deny himself of what he could not have or want as a married man.
Adrian's behavior might have been a bit extreme to some readers, but for me, a true fan of redeeming asshole heroes, he was PERFECT! I fucking loved every second of his story.
And Neesy put up with more than her share of bad behavior from Adrian, but I loved her unwavering support of this broken, broody, tormented man. I totally understood how she never gave up on him and I loved her even more for her true friendship and support.
I'm thrilled beyond belief that I've never read any of this author's other stories, because now I'm stocked with quite a few brand new stories I'm excited to get started.

Adrian was gloriously tormented by his feral attraction to Neesy, and Neesy was freaking adorable. She was hilariously sweet and honest to a fault.
It was absolute whiplash experiencing Adrian's back and forth between his animalistic intimacy with Neesy, then back to his assholish cold distance he would enact to deny himself of what he could not have or want as a married man.
Adrian's behavior might have been a bit extreme to some readers, but for me, a true fan of redeeming asshole heroes, he was PERFECT! I fucking loved every second of his story.
And Neesy put up with more than her share of bad behavior from Adrian, but I loved her unwavering support of this broken, broody, tormented man. I totally understood how she never gave up on him and I loved her even more for her true friendship and support.
I'm thrilled beyond belief that I've never read any of this author's other stories, because now I'm stocked with quite a few brand new stories I'm excited to get started.

Ms. Webster does it again!! She not only gives us a story with humor and sexiness she gives us a story about love loss and forgiveness. I was so into this read I could not put it down. I love each character in this read. The main characters where so honest and cute. I cried and cried and at one point yelled at my kindle 'Noooo' and then felt relief. She captured many emotions using the perfect words describing her characters feelings. I felt I was a BFF next to her character. Lol! A must read! One-Click now!!

This author does not hold back when it comes to pushing the boundaries and comfort zones of her readers..And this book will push and pull you like no other she has written..It will pull you in, you'll also cross lines into a territory that will slay you. Some will mark this book as a hard limit, others won't have limits and will dive right in. Be warned it does deal with a sensitive matter, but it will also capture your heart.
UNTIMELY YOU has got my brain scattered all over the place, there are so many wrongs in this book, wrong to strike out in anger, either verbally or physically, each step he took from that fateful day were the wrong steps to take. Moments I loved his character others I despised him.
I loved Nessy, her clumsiness, her heart, her nature, but I wanted her to show some fierceness, anger instead of forgiveness. She loved too easily.
And this is just my opinion it may not be in favour in what others may come away with from this book but it's how I felt reading this.
This book to me was a total mind f#ck!! It will pull you in so many directions, love, hate, laughter, sadness, my emotions were a hot mess..I really wanted to love this book but there were just certain aspects of it that made me question myself if I were in certain situations like Nessy found herself in.

They say your life flashes before your eyes when you’re about to die. And mine was full of mistakes.
Flash.
Worked too much.
Flash.
Drank too much.
Flash.
Didn’t tell her she was beautiful enough.
Flash.
My life should have been a glorious flipbook of laughter and beautiful memories.
It wasn’t.
“If only you’d come to me a year from now. Things would have been much simpler. But you didn’t, Nees. It’s you,” he grumbles.“You’re…”
“Untimely?”
He slaps the desk. “Exactly.”
Tears sting my eyes. “I told you, I’d wait for you…”
“What if I don’t want you to wait for me?” he questions. “As much as I want you, you’re a source of my anger too,” he admits...
I know I’ve lost him for good.
“Nees,” he growls. “Stop trying and stop fucking waiting. Move on. Please .”
Yes, as you may have guessed from the title and these quotes, this book is about an "untimely love". It is awesome, it feels right but it also is infuriating and it makes him feel guilty and angry and hopeless.
Neesy is an angel... sent from heaven... to heal him... to save him...
He loves her but he hurts her... badly... more than once...
She loves him and forgives him... every time and whatever he does or however much he hurts her...
Neesy is life. Neesy is love. She’s hope and a future and excitement rolled into one gorgeous package. The woman is understanding and forgiveness. I don’t fucking deserve her but somehow I still have her.
You will most probably want to embrace Neesy, she is really angelic. She is also fun to be with. And when she loves somebody, that person is the luckiest one on earth. I would have loved to have a friend like Neesy.
However, you may want to strangle the hero for some of his actions and decisions but Adrian has his reasons and good reasons. Still, it is hard not to hate him sometimes.
All along his troublesome journey, I tried to understand him. I never managed to be as angelic as Nees, but I did understand him and wished for his happy end.
"I can’t do this. I’m not strong enough and you’re…you’re…
Too alive.
Too real.
Too perfect.
Too much.
Not her!"
You need to try to be in his shoes to understand him, he is not an as*hole for no reason, he is in deep pain and guilt.
“I can’t leave her,” I murmur against the flesh of her neck. “Please don’t ask me to.”
“I’m not asking you to.”
Her words seem to pour gasoline on the flames inside my head, and soon the fire that is her ravages all thought—she burns through my mind like a thousand forest fires, singeing all of the pain and self-loathing in the process. My lips seek out hers, brushing over them slightly. “This feels wrong, but you heal me somehow.”
“I don’t want you to hurt.”
My lips crush with hers and I kiss her. My tongue pushes between her lips and soon we’re nipping and sucking on each other. “I want to get lost in you—I want to forget. You make me forget.”
“I don’t want you to forget. But I can be your escape.”
Theirs is a strange journey, making you happy for a while and then leaving you as a mess soon after and it is like a vicious cycle until everything resolves.
It has hot moments, sad moments and funny moments.
The writing is good, the character development is perfect. It is told by dual point of view, which enables us to understand the motives of both characters.
To tell the truth, after a prologue like that, I assumed certain things, I had my guesses about what had happened but then I was greatly surprised by the first plot twist; I really wasn't expecting it. So not to spoil things for you, I am writing a bit of a "vague review" here but please believe me when I say whatever you assume now will not be what you will be reading, please believe that.
Start this book knowing nothing or not much about it and wait for to be surprised. The blurb is also vague and it is like that for a reason. Don't dig too much :)
I would have given it 5 stars if only it had better plot twists towards the end as well. I was saying to myself, "Oh now this will happen", and it did happen... twice even !!
So, except for the sort of cliché plot twists in the second half of the book, it was a good read for me and I loved it. But I know it is not for everyone.
We read it together with my dear friend Bookylicious, with whom I agree %90 of the time but this book made her crazy. So maybe it is one of those books that you either love or hate, nothing in between...
I still take a risk and recommend this book, but don't get angry with me if you get furious all along the journey :) I somehow felt everything they felt and books making me feel are precious for me.

I truly don't know how she does it. But she's done it again.
Untimely You is an absolutely fabulous, emotional, gut wrenching, heartwarming book. Don't go into this book thinking that you are going to get a classic K. Webster mindfuck, however do get your emotions in check because this book does not hold back. It does not sugar coat or hold your hand. This book is real, its raw, and it will have you laughing one minute and crying into your pillow the next. Much like life.
This is the story of two strong, amazing people finding one another, grasping hold of one another to stay a'float, and trying to beat the odds that are stacked against them. Its a story of love and loss, passion, patience, compassion, trust, sacrifice and friendship. UGHHHH you guys, this story is just absolutely beautiful in every way. K. Web does NOT disappoint you guys. There is so much heart in this book. R E A D I T!

This review comes with a caveat. I am an impatient reader at the best of times. Add in several days of insomnia with a 6-book binge read… and I’m a grump looking to be wowed. I do love a broody H hung up on an ex, but this is low angst (because the h eagerly accepts anything the H throws at her) and low drama (because there’s really only the one problem), so I enjoyed it, but I wasn’t wowed.
But
, like I said I’m in a mood and most of my friends loved this, so keep that in mind.

The prologue starts with the H (Adrian) and his family getting into an accident where is hinted (strongly) that his wife died. We find out in the 3rd chapter that she’s
I found both characters likable enough. Neesy is quirky and made me smile a couple times. She’s super understanding, loving, supportive, positive/no dying inside, etc. which makes for a great partner, but doesn’t generate much angst. Adrian is the typical tortured H drowning in guilt while trying to grab onto the h’s sunshine. It’s not a new concept, but I thought the author did a nice job of making it believable.
My main issue was the pacing of the plot. We spend much of the first 60% of the book in the same push-pull/guilt/hot-cold holding pattern until FINALLY something happens that allows the story/relationship to have some movement. IMO, it went on too long, became repetitive, and I got bored with it.
Bottom Line- Ok read for me. Certainly a unique take on the guilt-ridden H hung up on his dead wife trope, and it added a layer of messy to the plot. I like messy, but it sort of made some of their early interactions have a bit of an ick factor (when they were at his home) that could be off putting to safety readers. Things pick up the last 40% or so, but I struggled a bit to get there. I found it monotonous and lost interest in the characters which dulled my feels when the storyline eventually changed. But, I recommend to more patient readers that love the hot-cold drama. I might’ve found it a smidge unexciting at times, but I did always feel like their feelings for each other were genuine.

Neesy hopes to have her own publishing company, but she needs a loan. Unfortunately, her loan won't get approved because her work history is too short. Her current job is crucial to her dreams.
She's cute, funny, clumsy, and forgiving. When her boss notices her being compassionate to others, he offers her a new job with a raise.
Neesy thinks her new job involves being Adrian's new sex toy, but her sexual fantasy is squished. The job is something Neesy never expected.
Adrian is a man with a painful past. He blames himself and chooses to suffer alone. He's always moody and angry, but Neesy gets under his skin.

Untimely You by K Webster
4 stars!!!
K Webster delivers an extremely intense and emotional read with Untimely You. I must admit I was blindsided, this was one of those books I went into blind. While it wasn’t what I was expecting it was none the less heart breaking and extremely thought provoking. What would I do in this scenario? To be honest, I do not have a clue.
This story pulled out every single emotion. While the story was unconventional and certainly a surprise it brought me to tears for so many reasons. Tears for Adrian and tears for Nessy and tears just in general for the situation that they found themselves in.
Adrian at first glance was aloof, professional and untouchable. He was a boss that Nessy only saw while he tore through the office like a whirlwind on his way to his own office on a daily basis. She couldn’t deny he was an enigma…a handsome enigma but still, she felt like he had the weight on the world on his shoulders, he always seemed troubled, detached, but she needed to keep things professional, she needed this job.
Neely was a free spirit and a complete and utter book nerd (we should be BBF’s). Her demeanour was infectious, she was clumsy, compassionate, she had no filter and she had the hugest heart of gold. Nessy’s dreams consist of owning her own publishing house and the bank will not lend her the money until she has a years’ worth of employment under her belt. While this job is beneath her, it was a means to an end and an end that she was determined to get to.
Adrian hadn’t always been this way, twelve years ago his life changed and now it was just he and his son. Even though his son is now nineteen his life revolves around him and around work, he has no time for anything else and no inclination to do anything either, or anyone. In a self-imposed life of loneliness for over a decade Adrian hadn’t banked on Emmy and she was the last distraction he needed…or did he?
This book at times was emotionally frustrating and I cannot even say why because it is a huge spoiler. But this is where K Webster really brought her characters into your heart and head. You empathised, you sympathised and your heart hurt. K Webster nailed the character connection, as much as Adrian was hard to love in the beginning once you get his full back story everything becomes apparent and suddenly nothing is as it seems. Nothing is black and white but a very murky shade of grey. The situation they find themselves in is tenuous at best, but will the first woman to snag Adrian’s attention in twelve years have what it takes to guide them through their minefield to the light that you constantly hope is at the end of the tunnel?
I shed a lot of tears, my heart ached, I was frustrated, I was angry, I swooned but most of all I had hope. Hope that the past could finally be put to rest and that the future was warm and welcoming. A very unique situation that the author delivered with believability and a huge dose of compassion. A great story.

K Webster, I would say is known for her dark romances (Which I LOVE), so when I found out she was doing a softer story I was definitely intrigued. She knocked this book out of the park. It was beautiful, heart wrenching, and heart warming.
I loved Neesy's character and dare I say she reminded me of me. Hmm maybe that's why I liked her so much ;) and Adrian was a heart breaking character who captured my mind and soul from the very first page.
I am now convinced K. Webster can write anything! This book was brilliant!

I always love K. Webster books. Not sure why it took me so long to read this one. This one was angsty and had one of my fave tropes that so many other readers hate— H pining over dead wife. Except she’s not completely dead, but she’s in a vegetative state.
The H is super messed up in the head. He carries a ton of guilt because he was driving when the accident occurred and he ignored his wife’s wishes on keeping her on life support. So he loathes himself for all of the above. It’s been 12 years and he finally starts feeling an attraction for someone else (the h) and that heaps on even more guilt.
Some things are revealed in flashbacks (was it 2003 or 2013, because the dates were inconsistent!) and we find that all wasn’t as it seemed and the wife wasn’t faithful. H has a lot of anger issues and lashes out at the h a lot.
I personally loved all of the drama, but wished the h had more of a backbone and wasn’t such a doormat. Also, the stereotypical klutz, goofy h got on my nerves. She was seemingly okay with being H’s prostitute at the beginning of the book, which was surprising, but no judgement.

Emotional romance 3.5 to 4 stars.
I'm not giving my usual summary because I don't want to spoil this book for you in any way.
Nessy is clumsy, full of life and has a huge heart Adrian is carrying the weight of the world or at least his past on his shoulders, the only thing they have in common is the attraction they both feel.
This is an emotional read and a rocky one at times but I grew to really like these characters and their story.

H had some anger and grief management issues. Also, a heaping mountain of grief and regret on his shoulders. If h hadn't come along when she did, I think he would have gone over the edge. I liked it - not quite the WTFery I expected. 3.5 rounded stars.

Heh, I found a winner in my old TBR books at last, and I loved it.
His grumpiness bordering on unhinged, her klutzy sweetness and a really great story made this a 5 star read for me UNTIL that ridiculous plot twist near the end, where it's discovered that his late wife who had been at home in a vegetative state for 12 years despite her specific wishes not to via a living will If this was to make Adrian feel good about being with Neesy whilst his wife was still on life support it didn't work. See, I don't believe he cheated on Crissy, she was gone all bar the life support she'd been kept on. I would've rather seen him work through his demons to get to the point where he realised he hadn't cheated at all.

Adrian's life stopped 12 years ago, nothing will ever be the same. He holds onto hope that life will turn around and it does when he meets Neesy, though not in the way he ever expected it to. She breathes life into his world, turning the gray to colors and making things a lot more confusing than they were before.
Neesy has her dreams in sight, she just needs a loan to make it all possible and if that means working another 8 months in this job she'll do it. An opportunity to make even more money with her brooding, handsome boss, Adrian, and even if it's as a sex slave she'll do it to reach her dreams. It turns out, her boss is really holding onto a sad secret and Neesy can't help but let her emotions take over.
Their lust for one another is forbidden, an escape from reality, but neither can deny that underneath the lust is growing emotion.
Her body is like a live wire in my hands and all I want to do is get zapped by her. I like the way she ignites something within me that hasn't shown life in some times. She brings blood rushing to parts of me that haven't been used in forever.
After a series of incredible, but dark releases K. Webster has kicked the romance up a notch with Untimely You. Like always, I couldn't put it down, not because I was desperate to see more twists and turns, but because I'd fallen in love with these two dysfunctional characters and their love story. From page one you can't help but be hopeful for the klutzy Neesy, her spirit just makes you want the best for her. Then there's Adrian, a handsome enigma that pulls Neesy into his orbit. He's hot and cold, but he's going through something you'd never wish on anyone and that made me have hope for him too. Together they don't make perfect sense, but their honesty, their willingness to lean on one another, and Neesy's never ending patience make them the perfect couple.
Turning, I lock eyes with him. Such a beautiful, crushed soul.
Untimely You is an unconventional love story, it's layered with character growth, passionate smut, angst-filled moments, and the sweetest of romances. Ultimately, it's about forgiveness and giving yourself the time to let go and to move on. The subject, though sensitive, is dealt with in an excellent way and allows the reader to hope for an HEA even in the midst of emotional tension. I loved how far-reaching the plot was, K. Webster makes even the minor characters hold significant moments. I felt immersed into the world and could see the story from so many perspectives. Untimely You read so similar to life, with its ups and downs, and I found myself devouring at any chance I could.
I fuck all of the hate and grief and self-loathing out of my body and into hers. Her body begs for it. Sucks it all from me like it's deadly poinson for a venomous sting.
There is so much to this book and while it may have some hard points for readers, it is worth it in the end. You don't want to miss Neesy and Adrian and their heart-warming story.

I had a very hard time rating this book because the premise was great! A few things didn't work for me though...This was quite a different book from this author and while I love her other work, this didn't win me over.
Neesy's life becomes extremely complicated when her boss assigns her with a very tricky job. Unexpected and tough, her new position will challenge her sanity and her heart.
The last thing Adrian wants is to fall for his employee. Especially while battling with the horrors of his past. Neesy's vivacious and kind nature will clash with his difficult life. Can they ever find happiness?
Great storyline, but the erratic behavior of the male hero along with the heroine's response to him let me a bit down. The characters frustrated me and that made it difficult to connect with them.
I would recommend it to the fans though. Interesting theme.

Gosh. I'm not even mad tbh. I'm just disappointed. For a romance book, the author failed to convince me that the Hero is genuinely in love with the heroine. At least, not until the very end. In my eyes, the heroine deserved so much better--she deserved someone better, period.
Our Hero, Adrian has been living in a lie he created for years. In a way, he literally stopped living for 12 years. Consumed by guilt and regrets, he hasn't been able to let himself live the life he truly deserved. But as fate have it, our klutzy, crazy as hell heroine, Neesy entered his life.
"She's so vibrant and full of life. She makes my heart ache with need. With every smile or laugh, she sends currents of happiness coursing through me. I love being around her."
For the first time in 12 years, Adrian actually felt genuine happiness-- he felt alive. While he was hesitant at first, they almost immediately entered a sexual relationship. And Neesy, who had been crushing for Adrian for so long was willing to comply with his lusty wants.
Here's where it didn't work for me: The pacing of their relationship. For me there wasn't a time where they were able to actually talk and connect with each other. Like I said, they immediately fell into a sexual relationship. While it's good and there's no shame in that, I felt like Adrian was using her as a crutch more than anything.
He found comfort in her, so he used her without a shame. He might have developed feelings for her along the way, but I couldn't feel it. Until the very end, I wasn't 100 percent convinced he was in love with her. So that really sucks donkey's ass LOL. It sucked so bad that I had to skip ALL of their sex scenes because of the lack of authenticity. I couldn't force myself to read all of them because everything felt fake and forced. They also exchanged I-Love-Yous out of nowhere.... and I was??? Okay???
Neesy was selfless from start to finish. I sympathized a lot with her. It couldn't have been easy for her, falling in love with a guy who was still very much in love with his ex. But she stayed and was very patient even when Adrian took his anger out on her (which was sometimes over-the-top imo).
What I didn't understand was where did this selfless devotion for Adrian came from? I mean sure, she had a crush on the the old man for awhile--it was no secret. She made it very clear from the very beginning but I couldn't fathom why she would selflessly (stupidly?) wait for the him to come to his DAMN SENSES. It makes no sense whatsoever.
THIS BOOK COULD HAVE BEEN SO GREAT. I'm okay with unconventional love, most of the time but this one just didn't work for me. I'm sorry.

K Webster is simply Wonder Woman! She can write dark (I mean real dark, with an added Cucumber), to Historical romance, Paranormal and then we have Untimely You. I really had no idea what to expect with this new read, but OMG all the feels!!
Our female lead is Neesy and I just fell in love with her from the word go. She's funny, clumsy, crazy, charming and caring (all the C's). One particular scene at the start of the book in a restaurant I could identify with completely and the way Neesy deals with this is just perfect; I want a Neesy to come to my resuce when this happens to me on a regular basis. She also has the best line ever, it's a classic!
I don't want to give the plot away as I really want people to read this heartwrenching but also beautiful book. Our male lead is the Adrian and oh god sometimes I wanted to cuddle him so much, then other times slap his face lol and then share a hot tub with him (bloody hell).
I get so excited when a new K Webster book comes out and she never disappoints.
She is definitely my author of 2016!

Crazy Clumsy Bernice "Neesy" Noble is true to her name. She's gentle, Noble, kind . But also a healthy dose of Crazy, funny , inappropriately candid. She has a crush on her handsome boss Adrian Hockstead and when she's offered a position at his house, she jumps to it, thinking she's being auditioned to be his kinky sex slave a la Christian Grey and Ana. I don't remember everything in details , but I do remember that the male MC's character was giving me a whiplash , hot'n'cold , yes'n'no (feel like I am going all Katy Perry and shit).

I have been a fan of K. Webster's books and she always delivers stories that are beyond the norm. There is something different in her books which I love. I love her dark, twisty and fucked up books that always get me to edge of my seat but its her emotional books that are always touch my heart. Untimely You is an emotional book that truly had you on a rollercoaster of feelings. This book had me bawling like a baby but truly told an unforgettable story of loss, love and forgiveness.
I do not want to spoil this book for you. This one of those books where you have to take a chance and read. Not only does this book blow your mind but it tells a beautiful story that spoke to me. Besides the emotional story, Untimely You was a book that made me smile and laugh. It was not just about a book that brought out the feels, although I wanted to cry every scene but there were moments that were so inspiring that it brought so much light and heart to the story. Not only was it touching but there was a unique story which I did not expect and definitely showed the signature wtiting style of K. Webster. Her ability to create different stories that are both engrossing and different just makes me fall in love with her books more and more.
Untimely You not only had an unforgettable story but it had characters who were dynamic and truly gave an edge to the story. Untimely introduced us to Neesy and Adrian who completely had an enchanting yet emorional story together. They had true chemistry and I followed their thoughts and feelings which captivated me.

Neesy was such an awesome heroine. She was unique, funny, kind and full of life but its her vulnerable nature that spoke more. Her willingness to forgive easily. Her willingness to fight for love and her ambitions clearly made her one of my favourite heroines.
"I don’t want her to be sad. I want to give her the sun and the moon and every goddamn star in the sky."
Adrian was someone who I felt needed help lol. I know, harsh but true lol. He was hot and cold all the time. First he wanted Neesy then he ould feel guilty for wanting her. It was frustrating lol. But it was his pain that made me want to read more. His pain made me emotional and I even cried a bit. He was so protective and lovig but his anger issues made him a tad irrational but I loved him.
Untimely You was an amazing book that truly touched my heart and will forever leave a imprint in me.

5 Untimely "I'm Okay!" Stars!!
When K Webster tells you she's written a romance, you better believe it. Untimely You is so very different to the darker stories that I've read from K. This is a beautiful, heart wrenching story.
Both characters are incredible in their own way, both broken and in need of each other. Adrian is such a complex character and he had me in knots. He's been through so much, and the situation he finds himself in will have your heart breaking on one hand, and then shouting at him on the other.

This book is heart wrenching. Every time I read one of K Webster's book I'm prepared for my heart to be squeezed. There are so many outlets from this author. The more of her work I read the more amazed I am. She reaches so many different genres but no matter what when I pick up a K Webster book I know that I'm going on a ride. This isn't her dark romance but this book takes it out of you emotionally. It does not disappoint whatsoever. Sometimes we let the past control our futures and we don't always notice what's in front of us. Every crazy deserves her wacko! I read this book in one sitting and I just want more, even tho it's a complete and beautiful story. I fell in love with these characters, I felt their pain and happiness. Webster writes in a way that captivates all of your senses. It's simple if you want a romance that has everything you could possibly want than read this book.
