Zane
I'm everything a mother prays her daughter will never come across.
Manwhore, Mafia boss and ruthless killer.
I've never met a woman who could hold my attention longer than it took to satisfy my c**k.
Until Dahlia Fury.
She alone is different. She walked into my world, the way a lamb strays into the path of a wolf, completely defenseless.
She made me hard the moment our eyes locked. I had to have her. But I never imagined taking her would be like popping a powerful drug. One I'd crave over and over.
The heat between us is blazing, like nothing I've experienced before, and every time I see her I want to devour her inch by inch.
I defined the terms of our arrangement (one month), but each time I brand her, like a damned addict I need another fix ...

Dahlia
'You can do it. It's just a simple Swedish massage,' my friend pleaded. I should have listened to my inner voice. I shouldn't have gone, but I didn't, and ended up in a room alone with the epitome of an Alpha male, a sexy powerful Mafia boss with eyes cold enough to freeze my blood.
He took hold of my body in the most shockingly possessive way. He made me lose control. I ran from him as if all the devils in hell were hot on my heels, but he never left my mind.

Then, something unthinkable happens and the cold-hearted predator is the only one who can help. He agrees to help, but ... nothing is for free.
Now I roam around his London mansion waiting for him to summon me, touch me, arouse me, and satisfy me.
The way only my Russian Man Beast can...

- Review for You don't own me Book 1 -

Another amazing book by Georgia Le Carre. Awesome characters, a hot romance and good plot made it hard for me to put this down.

When all hope for finding her missing sister is gone, Dahlia has no other choice but to ask Alexander Malenkov aka Zane, the dangerous Russian mob boss, for help. The two of them had met a few months ago, when Dahlia had been asked by her best friend to replace her to massage Zane instead. Zane had not been impressed with her massage skills, but Dahlia’s sensual touch had made his whole body spark. Now, she desperately needs him and Zane is determined not to miss the opportunity to make her his. He wants her to become his sex slave for a month in exchange for his help. And, she agrees.

No matter how nice he is, or how desperate he seems to have sex with me. It is just that. Sex. Did I make a mistake? I behaved like a slut and he treated me like a slut.
When all is said and done, there is nothing left.

Dahlia is beautiful, very much independent and sassy. Zane is firm, direct with his demands, oozes masculinity. He’s a true Alpha! He’s possessive and controlling but it seems he finds it hard to resist the urge to bond with her. She’s not afraid of him and she melts the icy coldness in his heart, something that no other woman has ever succeeded in.

 photo 8931134_zpstuwo3ump.jpg

“Why does it have to end in a month? What if it’s good? Can’t we carry on and find something that suits us both?”
“That door is closed Dahlia. Just enjoy this moment. That’s all we have. There is nothing beyond this.”
My body trembles with pain. I feel as if I’m standing in a boat that’s slowly sinking. Soon the water will swallow it all.

I loved that we got to see some tender moments with them. It made me think that maybe there’s hope for him yet. Maybe he’s beginning to realize that he can be a better person. Dahlia is his match in wills and stubbornness; she’s such a strong heroine…except when it comes to Zane, that is. But who can blame her??

And what can I say about the sex scenes… Hotness overload.... check! Great romance... check. Great character and plot development. .... check.

 photo sensual-eye1_zpsykq0b9cn.jpg

But, as Zane’s secrets begin to come to light, Dahlia is confronted with stinging truths and her heart is left broken. Can they begin again? Can Zane learn how to love her the way she wants?

Then my senses come swimming back to me and I feel the first shaft of pain, and oh sweet Jesus, such loss. Such terrible loss. And anger. And sadness. Everything is jumbled up and bewildering, but I know only one thing. I have to get away from this house, this man, these feelings I have for him.

You Don't Own Me (bk. 1) is definitely worth reading and a "keeper." Just know that I LOVED this story! Book Two, please. :)

4 Own Me Stars

I got this little gem on Kindle Unlimited. I LOVED the author’s note. I was told the book stopped at 40% and there would be a cliffy. Because I got that information it changed the way I read. I enjoyed You Don’t Own Me a lot more.

This was a hot piece. I mean, it was on fire from page one. Dehlia’s sister is kidnapped and she doesn’t know what to do.

Zane is a mobster. He’s cold, calculating and unemotional, he also wants Dehlia. So when Dehlia shows up and asks Zane to help find her sister, he agrees for a price.

One month as his sexual slave. Okay, so I’m totally hooked on this premise. I love a mob book and I love a slave book. What really worked for me was the tension between the two. I love how sassy and strong Dehlia was. She may have given her body to Zane, but she still has pride. She’s willing to say no.

Zane is ruthless and delicious. I love how cold he is and how much he pushes Dahlia away, but he’s also sweet to her. Those tender moments make the great parts of the book.

I forget how addictive Georgia La Carre reads area and I’m SUPER excited for the next book.

"She is just a sickness. Her poison will eventually lose its potency and be expelled out of my bloodstream. She will become a distant memory and I will be free."

Step into the ruthless world of the Russian Mafia where Zane is the King of his castle, ruling with an iron fist and instilling fear in those that whisper his name. Sent a last minute stand in for his routine massage the woman in the too tight uniform ignites a need in him that he cannot deny. Her denial sparks a flame that smoulders until it becomes a wild fire that spreads threatening to consume them both.

Dahlia Fury, I love that name, is caught in the sights of a powerfully dominant man that really doesn't understand the meaning of no. Agreeing to be his for a month she refuses to bend to his will and swears she will not submit completely to his darkest desires. Every day is a new challenge as the fierce attraction they feel towards one another grows exponentially threatening to consume them both. He is a puzzle wrapped in an enigma all in a package of masculine hotness that she is desperate to unwrap with her teeth. She is his weakness and he finds himself battling his desire to bend to her and expose himself.

This beginning to a dark and edgy clash of personalities and flesh is one hot damn read that I devoured. The characters, have I mentioned I love her name?!?! are intriguing and I can't wait to find out if she learns how to fly...

A five star bad boy mafia romance.

I told my best friend no when she wanted me to go in her place for a Swedish massage to a mafia boss, but I gave in what a big mistake. I am nervous I want to make sure I am touching him correctly not too soft because instructions are he likes a deep tissue rub. As my hands touch Zanes beautiful body they took over and before I know it, our eyes met and he has me pin to the wall and his hands are everywhere. This alpha male took my body to another to heights it has never been. I climax harder than I ever have before and what do I do? I ran, he calls to me and I keep running and he states I will need him again, I state never.

As the days and months go by all I can think about is Zane he is even my dreams, until the day comes where I need him. My sister goes missing in Australia and Zanes states he can help me but nothing is for free and he wants me to own me for 30 days. I will submit to him no questions ask when and where ever I am wanted.

Zane-No one has affected me like Dilah, the more I have her the more I want to own her, she is like a drug and I can't get enough of.

I was given this book as an ARC and this is my honest review.

PURRRR ZANE ZANE!!!!!!

Holy cow I devoured You Don't Own Me! It was erotic lustful read! That only kept me wanting more.
For the love of all mighty god Zane is a menacing Russian Mob Boss. Well I can say he's every woman's wet dream. Tatted, muscular, wealthy, arrogant, cocky and hung like a race horse. PURRRRR
Throw in Dahlia in to the mix. A gorgeous, self assured, and suborn woman.
It makes for the perfect chemistry! They come together in the most unlikely way. I will not spoil this review with spoilers.
There will be a point when some secrets come out and BAM! The shit hits the fan!
Then of fuck there was a cliffhanger!!! Dear God I so despise them. Now I have to wait for the next book in this series!

The book started out great and I was looking forward to some kinky reading time with my kindle. The heroine helps out her masseuse best friend and agrees to massage in her stead a Russian mafia guy. He gets turned on and manhandles her to an orgasm. The heroine is not so amused and the hero has nothing better to do than to stick his d..ck into the next willing woman. Now I know squat about mafia guys (thank heaven) but I HATE reading the MCs having callous sex after already having met their future partner. No matter there's no love in sight yet, I also found this scene incredibly uncaring and respectless. He will probably turn out Mr Wonderful later in the story but generally I prefer heroes with more sexual control. DNF

The only reason I didn’t rate this as 5 stars because there’s a explicit scenes of the H with OW on the early chapter, even though it he doesn’t feeling it but still I don’t like it. This book progress was quite flat in the beginning as well but I like it when he start to care for the h and he slowly became obsessed with her. I always love some damaged asshole H and this book has it.As the plot line goes I became intrigue to read more about the H, he has more layer than I expected.I don’t really like the heroine but she’s okay. I also love that the H celibate when the h was on coma even though some may see as an excuse when he got drunk in the club but he still think about h.Overall I enjoyed this book despite there’s too many sex scenes for my likeness.

Book 2 makes this series just incredible

Wow... I wasn’t expecting to like this series as much as I did. Part 1 was good... but Part 2 is heartbreakingly fantastic. I stayed up far past my bedtime to get to the end. I just couldn’t put it down.

The characters are fabulous. I love them. Georgia Le Carre has a fantastic way of writing about her lead characters that you really do identify with them. I feel everything they feel, see everything they see and experience the highs and lows as if I am there with them.

Part 1 is really building up the characters and setting up the situation between Dahlia and Zane.

Their story begins in a twist of fate when Dahlias roommate double books an appointment for her massage business. Both clients are too important to cancel so she asks Dahlia to go in her place.

Extremely reluctantly she agrees to step in to help. She knows little about her client except that he is a wealthy and powerful Russian Mafia boss... hhhmmmm, not the greatest prospect to be facing, but Stella needs to keep him in her books but cannot let her other client down as she could lead to more prosperous future customers.

What Stella neglected to tell her friend was that Zane is a God amongst men. He oozes power, domination, wealth and sexual attraction but their first interaction doesn’t quite go to plan and a misunderstanding leads to a difficult situation. Repulsed by Zane’s complete arrogance Dahlia flees the mansion and bids never to return, but not before Zane tells her that one day she will need him and he will be the only one who can help her.

Three months later, mysteriously Dahlia’s sister Daisy goes missing abroad. The authorities are slow to respond and realising she has no other option Dahlia asks Stella to arrange a meeting with Zane. He immediately agrees to help... under one condition. Dahlia must become his to do with as he pleases for one month. Initially shocked and dumbfounded Dahlia refuses but then considering her options... Dahlia realises Zane’s outrageous offer is all she has.

Well, you can guess what happens. Of course, Zane’s underworld contacts locate her sister and Dahlia holds true to her word and moves into the mansion.

Zane and Dahlia’s relationship starts off cold, bitter and strained. As much as they are obviously attracted to each other physically, Zane is not an easy man to deal with. He’s guarded, ruthless and relentless in his need to keep everyone at arms length, completely devoid of any emotion other than anger or dominance, which frustrates Dahlia. She can see there is a softer side to him, but he won’t let anything permeate that protective shield he places around himself.

However, as the couple get to know each other they start to connect on a much deeper level, and although Zane is still incredibly closed off more of his walls start to fall and Dahlia gradually enables him to feel more than just something sexual. There are glimmers of light in his darkened soul. Could it be that he actually cares about her? Could he actually be falling in love?

Everyone around him can see that she is different, so the staff at the mansion begin to help Dahlia break the cycle of Zane’s bedding of inadequate women. With Olga and Noah’s encouragement, Dahlia sets about winning over her man. She loves him, no matter what she knows he has done in his past and she is desperate to show him that he can also love and be loved.

Part two... WOW! So many emotions, so much love, lust, passion, danger, heartbreak, sorrow, grief, dedication and devotion. That is all I am going to say because to say any more would truly spoil it... but I actually cried. I sobbed. Just when our beautiful couple think all is great... their world comes crashing down. Be ready with the tissues.

Absolutely fantastic series. Did it need to be two books? No not really, one book would have been perfectly adequate, but I guess it’s the way many of these books are going these days.

I liked the idea of the YouTube links to music videos and songs that are featured within the chapter and I like the little quotes and famous references related to the subject matter of each chapter. Gives that sense of the writer being intuitive and well read themselves.

I’m moving on to “You Don’t Know Me” now, which is Noah’s story. I love his character in these books, so I’m looking forward to getting to know him better.

Well done again Georgia!! Another excellent piece of erotic fiction with grit and a plot worthy of a good thriller. LOVED IT!!

I discovered this book while search a book game app friend had turned me on to. What's a book game app you ask? Well "Chapters" or "Moments" game app are book stories where you make decisions. Your start reading the story and then you get choices to make (i.e., how the character replies, what he/she does, or even what he/she wears). Some selections (choices) are free (these are not always the best) and some cost diamonds (which you can earn daily or purchase for cash). Anyway, my friend told me about a book she played (which was a book I'd read and loved) so I thought I'd play it and see what it was like. Sadly, that book wasn't available anymore (they update often) but I did find this book "You Don't Own Me" by Georgia Le Carre and it sounded like something I might read so I decided to "play" this book. It was a bit generic (almost like reading a screen play when it started, but it was kind of fun (though I didn't always like the free choices). I think the game will always bring you back to the actual story line, but maybe not in as satisfying manner. So I found myself wondering, what the heroine actually did or said in the book. Then something happened, in book 2...a scene that actual got me choked up with tears in my eyes (in a game) and it was nothing major (a dog dies). I started wondering what the actual book was like
so I bought the Box Set because I HAD to read it now.

BOOK REVIEW - The book starts out just like the game app story (told in heroines point of view). Like the game app story, I found it kind of dry (like reading a screen play). (That may just be because I read the game app first so don't take my word for it.) But, unlike the game app story, the book quickly comes to life and captures your interest as do the characters.

The heroine, Dahlia, is a pretty typical 24 yr old. She's sweet and kind, but she's also strong. I loved that she wasn't wishy-washy, stood up for herself and knew what she wanted or didn't want. The hero, Alexandr (aka Zane), was multi-layered. There was so much more to him than just the ice cold mafia boss. His layers are peeled away slowly to reveal the man underneath as well as discover what shaped him; made him the man he became. How Le Carre brings these two from an ice cold, emotionless, sex only, one month arrangement to intense and all consuming love is beautiful and seamless. (There is only one scene that appeared a bit rushed and therefore a little unbelievable, but it's easy to forgive because everything else is so good.)

Though there are a couple of scenes, this is not a violent story or a story about Mafia crimes.
Ultimately, it is a story of love and redemption, the trials and tribulations on the way and the woman who led him on that road. It's passion and intense emotion. In the end....I absolutely loved it.

Memorable Story !!

"You Don't Own Me" (Book 1 and Book 2) by the author Georgia Le Carre, was an exceptional read for me. Zane and Dahlia's story was truly remarkable and memorable. I thoroughly enjoyed reading their story. It was hot, it was dark, it was steamy, it was romantic, it was emotional, and it was truly beautiful.

This story took me through a roller coaster of emotions. I was completely hooked by all the characters in this story. I loved the supporting characters of Noah, Stella, Olga, Daisy and Mark. And Zane and Dahlia certainly made a very memorable lead pair.

The plot of the story was wonderful. I loved the way Zane transforms himself for Dahlia. This book reiterates the belief that everyone deserves a second chance at love and at a happy life. Zane who has suffered so much, needed Dahlia in his life, to awaken him and bring him out of his dark existence. And Dahlia never expected to fall for a Russian Mob Boss, but when she does fall for him, she loves him completely without any reservations. And she does everything to save him, not afraid to put her own life in danger. After much doubts, hesitations, insecurities and sufferings, Zane and Dahlia finally do get their HEA.

This is the third book I have read by this author. And I have to say I have become a fan of her writing. I am looking forward to read more books written by her in the future. I think I am going to read Noah's story next.

'You Don't Own Me' (Book 1 &2) is a great mafia romantic love story and I do highly recommend it to all romance readers.

Meh

Interesting and sniffle inducing ending. Typical dumb, helpless and oh let's not forget a no pride having heroine. The hero walks all over her and she just makes excuses for his shi**y behavior. How did you not suspect that he was the one who kidnapped your sister? The hero is a sex robot with the feelings of a paper towel but not to worry. It's all good cause he's a bad boy with great pecs and the most enigmatic eyes. He was also creepy as hell. This book was flat out unsettling there were times I thought dude that's assault. I get that it's fantasy but stop pushing this drivel and convincing people that these pseudo alpha crap heroes are just poor misunderstood souls with past trauma, and therefore they can treat people like garbage. I gave it two stars because there were some parts that were well detailed and the ending really made that sh*t head of a hero realize that the heroine was too stupid good for him.

Also, Stella and Noah were the only characters in this book that I liked. I'm pissed that Stella ended up with Mark. How in the hell do you treat a spunky woman like that? She deserves to have her own book with an equally bad boy who knows how to tangle with an awesome spitfire of a woman.

I really wanted this book to be over already but I curse my OCD because I had to finish it. Now I have to go rinse my eyeballs out with some Kresley Cole or Natasha Anders books because the lead characters in this book were nauseating.

Saving her sister, could cost her everything!

Another sexy, raw, sometimes disturbing addictive romance from Georgia that I couldn't put down. When Dahlia first meets Zane, hot Mafia Boss and he puts the moves on her she is horrified but cant stop thinking about the way he made her feel. Even though her every fibre craves him, she convinces herself that he is a typical alpha male misogynist with a dark and twisted side. This is only reinforced by his demand that she becomes a sex slave in return for saving her kidnapped sister. Not a great start to a relationship! As time goes by she discovers that there is more, so much more to Zane then his cold heartless exterior shows her and the world. Can she lead him into the light, or will she be consumed by his darkness? This is a true erotic romance with seriously hot sexual scenes between Zane and Dahlia and even more serious dark overtones with a hero that you will hate to love. I laughed, cried and felt for our heroes every step of the way, especially towards the end. There is an HEA but its a hell of a rollercoaster before we get there. I would recommend this book to all readers of hot, hot, hot romance.

>Book Review – You Don’t Own Me – Box Set
>I am an independent reviewer. This box set contains books 1 and 2 in the You Don’t Own Me series and ends in n HEA. Dahlia is an American in London. She comes to the attention of a Russian mobster when she subs as his masseur one time. After her sister is kidnapped, she goes to Zane for help. The price for his help is to become his sex slave for 1 month. Dahlia even going to Zane for help was not certain. A lot of things needed to align in order for her to even realize he could help her, yet the story hinges upon the fact that Dahlia must go to Zane for help.
>The sex slave part of the story both shows Zane at his best and worst. He is demeaning to Dahlia, but slowly begins to fall in love. His backstory is told, but there were too many scenes of Zane’s tragic past. Only about half as many scenes were really necessary. I did love how kind Dahlia was to Zane’s staff and how she asserted her individuality to Zane.
>This box set is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this set 4 stars. The HEA was sweet, but the love interest for Stella was a bit of a stretch.

While reading this novel I have been in the state of the following emotions: being undoubtedly beyond elated, grip the sheets in euphoric ecstasy to the point of combustion, irrevocably angry, and in a heart wrenching destitute of sadness. As though I have ripped wide open, and cannot sow myself back together.

I had become one with these characters, felt every single emotion they were feeling, as though I was living their experiences. I haven’t had this type of connection with a novel for an extremely long time and I never wanted it to end!

It is absolutely an epic drama, suspenseful infused romantic story. I was on the edge of my seat devouring one more page, until I couldn’t keep my eyes opened any longer. Especially in the wee hours of the early morning not wanting to sleep. Desperately waiting until the night turned into the dawn so I may at least have a few more moments alone before having to get on with my normal life of being a working mom. So that once I’m done with my workday, I can hurry home take care of my children, and then continue to read this fantastic novel.

WELL DONE MS. LE CARRE THIS NOVEL DESERVES WELL BEYOND A 10 STAR RATING!!

Yeah, no.

I had this marked as “want to read” but when I downloaded the book and opened it, it was already on the end as if I’d already read it, but I couldn’t for the life of me remember this book so I started again... and then I remembered. I didn’t finish this book the first time and I definitely didn’t finish this time. Let me start by saying I love a possessive alpha male that needs to be redeemed, but Zane literally accused our main character of being a prostitute and then fingered her after she tells him no and to stop multiple times. There’s a dominate man, and then there’s bordering on rape. AND SHE KNOWS HER BEST FRIEND IS IN LOVE WITH HIM. that first scene between them immediately turned me off from both of the main characters and couple that with the fact that the dialogue seemed a little amateurish, this book was a dud to me and that makes me SO sad because I’ve read other books by this author and loved them. So, I definitely won’t give up on this author but this book just isn’t for me at all.

This book was so hard for me to put down once I started. It had a great plot, captivating characters and just thoroughly well written.

With no once else to turn to in hopes of finding her sister, Dahlia Fury has no other choice but to ask Alexander Malenkov aka Zane for his help. In exchange for finding her sister, Cane wants Dahlia to be his sex slave for a month, living in his house at his mercy. With no other choice left, she agrees.

Dahlia Fury is a gorgeous, sassy and independent woman that will do anything for those she loves. Zane is a Russian mob boss that oozes sex and doesn't beat around the bush. When it comes to Dahlia, he will do anything to have her and instantly feels protective towards her.

This story is full of passion, romance, and plot twists. I loved how the author showed the tenderness and raw emotion between Zane and Dahlia, and let me tell you, those sex scenes were off the charts HOT! This story has checked all my boxes and then some.

5 Stars!!

You Don't Own Me - Box

Wow. Brilliant. Georgia Le Carre, can this author write a bad book? Errr, don't think so. Zane is a hard man, not someone to cross. Dahlia meets him while covering for her friend Stella whose a masseuse, she wasn't impressed, much. Ok he's gorgeous but cold as ice and she's got a nice boyfriend. Then her sister & friend who are backpacking in Australia go missing. Stella talks to Zane, who agrees to see Dahlia. He is sure he can find and retrieve the girls. His price, Dahlia for 1 month, of course she has to agree. So their story begins, what a story it is too. This book is full of passion and anger, not for the timid, this is not Rom Com. It is an excellent story, this box set is the best way to read it as part 1 goes smoothly into part 2. Oh! and be prepared for a surprising ending. Well worth 5 stars

1-Present tense made dialogue feel unnatural. 2-the plot was drawn out soo much it was almost torture to keep reading. Seriously it just displays lack of development in story. 3- the characters were stagnic unchanging. Even Dahlia as states that she really disliked Zanes behavior she didn't challenge him hence making her weak not strong. 4-the point of view was mostly set in Dahlias head eventhough she was the more boring character. Zane was the complex character yet very few chapters were given for his P.O.V.
5- too much sex..become white noise losing its ability to portray the scandalous roughness & masochism of Zane. This characteristic was confusing since he had grown to adore his mother. So there was disconnect there. Overall disappointing considering "bad boys of London" was amazing.😕😥

I really struggled to finished these books and ended up skimming a number of chapters. The whole premise of this book is ridiculous. Apparently a strong feminist woman gets sexually assaulted whilst being mistaken for a prostitute and then can’t get the guy out of her head. The guy? A gangster who shuts her out. The only interaction for the majority of the book is just sex and not kinky sex, just a lot of licking pussy. She falls in love, wants to change him, does...despite him being a criminal since he was 12 yo. I heard a joke once...men and women have differing views on porn. Men forward to the good bits but women watch it from start to end. You know why? Because women are waiting for them to get married. That joke epitomises this book

A good easy read

Iv read a few books from le carre one being the nanny and the beast (which I read first) and I got a little confused because Alex and Yuri are in both books but slightly different roles.

Nevertheless I enjoyed this two books, the second being the better with a twist I wasn’t expecting but it turns out the lion did fall in with the lamb and was happy to wait as long as she needed.

I did find that closer to the end was a little unbelievable without giving too much away I find it hard to believe that deliah was in the position she was in and the next moment she was gagging for a bit of naughtiness. But hey ho, it was an enjoyable read!

I love me some Russian mafia goodness! Spasibo

My Review of You Don't Own Me 1 & 2

Good Story Basically, Didn't Care For The Whole Blasted Year In A Coma Thing. Come On, Two Months Wouldn't Have Lessened The Story Any!: Being In A Coma For 60 Days Would Have Carried Just As Well. Too Many Months Got A Little Boring. And Why The Hell Do You Cotten Picking Female Writers Still Make That Same Stupid Mistake Saying (Ground, Instead of Floor) When You Are ( Inside of a Building)? Use Your Dictionary, And GET It RIGHT! Floor, Carpet, Or Rug, Inside!:: GROUND OUTSIDE!! Other Than That Usual Female Writer Screw Up. And Too Long Coma Time, Good Story. TomVictory

You don’t own me but love does

This is the story of Zane and Dahlia and how they came together. She went to give Zane a massage as Stella who usually goes has double booked. She cannot let Zane down so persuades Dahlia to go. Zane sees through her and thinks she is a hooker as her uniform is to small and she has added a scarf to hide the effect. Zane makes her come with just his fingers and Dahlia doesn’t know what to think. Then her sister goes missing and she goes to Zane for help. His condition is she stay with him if he finds her. So there love story begins. I’m not going to spoil the rest only to say it’s a great read

I rated this book a 3 because of the way that it started off. Maybe it’s just me but I feel as if the book is going to be considered a romance novel treating a woman like a slut and defiling her until you decide to be a good guy is not okay. There are ways to go about being closed off without treating her like less of a human. The second half of the book however I absolutely loved and by the end it all came together and was the kind of romance novel I like to read. It was overall a pretty good book but the way it started off almost made me not continue to read it but now I’m glad I did.

A different kind of wow!

As usual, Georgia delivers another story filled with unexpected twist. And, of course there's the sex that's so steamy, it burns right off the pages. Loved Zane, Dahlia and all the other characters; especially Olga and Noah. So glad Georgia is going to tell us Noah's story in another book. Can't wait! So sorry it's over, but so glad I read this one. Great series so far; now I gotta go see what happens with Noah. So excited! Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!

Meh. The first book was cold and felt like they would never end up together. The 2nd was about changing the H and getting him out of the life of being a mob boss. I HATE books that do that. It's so annoying and cheesey for the h to be like 'you don't have to live this way' or "you can be better than this". Uhg.. also, the h and her sister were just too hippie-ish for me. The sex in both books was detailed but there was just something missing. 2.5/5. Idk these books just weren't for me.

I’m glad this was a set and no cliffhangers! The first book was fun and you see how this relationship began. Two characters are from two different worlds and they collide into each other and can’t let go. It’s crazy to see what they went through to make the relationship work. The second book just digs deeper into their love for each other. Also you will get to see into Zane’s life as he grows up throughout the second book. Dahlia gives Zane a second chance at living and in return he never gives up on their love! Great book to read

FANTASTIC 5++++ STARS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Zane and Dahlia SIZZLE!!!! From their very first meeting the sparks fly between them!! Georgia Le Carre is a go to author for me and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series I've read it several times and I CAN'T recommend it strongly enough believe me you won't be disappointed and if you read her Bad Boys of London series Shane and Snow make a cameo. You can NEVER go WRONG with a book by the AMAZING Ms. Le Carre she writes some INCREDIBLE BBF'S and your kindle is smoking when you're done because the stories are so HOT🔥🔥🔥

Dahlia is a strong woman. Zane is the kind of man who takes what he wants no matter what. If the answer is not the one he wants, then Zane creates situations where the choices are limited. Life or death? I really disliked Zane at the start but as I read more about his character I began to change my mind. Just as Dahlia does as she learns there is more to this sexy man with an iron will who bends to no one. The only reason I didn't give this a five rating was there were a few editing issues. Otherwise great books.
