This is along the lines of "Anatomy of a Murder" except it is from a reporter's perspective and mostly based on the evidence as it was mentioned in the trial.
The story is true crime and based on the 1960's, "crime of the century" murder of Jacques Mossler. His wife, Candy, and her much younger nephew, who she was rumored to be in an incestuous relationship with, were the suspects.
It was a fairly easy read and included the courtroom illustrations. I did have to pass over most of the 2nd to last chapter because the author included all of the courtroom instructions verbatim and it was the same instruction only slightly different based on the charge, and it was very redundant (pages worth).
