I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is the ultimate boxset for military romance lovers! It has 4 of KB Winters' best: Boomer, Player, Slow Burn and On the Run, plus 5 chapters called How to Make a Player, a bonus part of Player.
Boomer features Jack "Boomer" McGuire, a Lt who is a fighter pilot in the Navy. He's a good guy who's in his past been single and not looking for commitment but lately has been thinking of what his life might be like if he had someone to share it with. He meets Holly in Holiday Cove while she's on vacation and he's spending his last two weeks before his next deployment with his friend Aaron "Player" Rosen. Her lab puppy Hunter races off down the beach when he sees Boomer's Lab Princess, and it's love at first sight for the dogs. With Jack and Holly, it may not be love at first sight, but it's definitely lust at first sight.
Boomer and Holly are sweet and sexy together but their road to happiness isn't going to be easy, what with his upcoming overseas deployment, and Holly's fear of getting her heart broken again (as it was by her ex, a Marine who cheated on her more than once during their marriage). I really enjoyed Boomer, definitely a great introduction in this boxset.
Next up is Player, which features Boomer's best friend Aaron "Player" Rosen, a retired Navy fighter pilot and Gemma, an ER nurse he meets after a crash in one of his planes. Aaron definitely lives up to his nickname Player. Women love him and vice versa. But when he meets Gemma, that player nickname no longer suits him. Player was just as good as Boomer, and I loved reading how the player stopped being such a player once he met his true love.
The bonus is 5 chapters called How to Make a Player. It features a young Aaron, and Jack, near the end of their Navy flight school training. One night at a goodbye ceremony to the outgoing Admiral of their Navy Base, Aaron meets a beautiful blonde who just happens to be the daughter of the guest of honor. What happens next is the beginning of Aaron becoming Player. It's short and spicy.
Slow Burn is my favorite of this boxset. It features Nick, an ex Marine that Aaron hires to fix a plane he buys for his museum, and Carly, the resident barista and pastry queen of Holiday Cove. Nick is sweet and easy going and Carly is a feisty, independent woman, but she's dealing with a lot, including watching over her wild, 17 year old sister for the summer. Together, Nick and Carly are awesome. But in order for their relationship to progress, Carly has to let him in, which isn't something she's comfortable with. I really enjoyed reading how Nick tore down Carly's walls.
Last is On the Run, which features Chase, an ex Navy Seal, who is hired by his lawyer brother to protect his client, Melissa O'Keefe, wife of Henry O'Keefe (villain in Player). Chase does more than protect Melissa, though, he falls in love with her and her son, Jackson. On the Run is just as sexy as the other stories in this boxset, with a little more action and suspense.

The first few books got me hooked because the hero was great and willing to take a chance. I loved what he did when he got captured. I loved the chemistry between the hero and heroine. The heroine I could see and relate too.
Now withe the stories with player, they were good and interesting but the didn't flow like with the first overall story. It saddened me because I was so looking forward to these books.
In the last set of stories, brings us to the woman in the bakery. You felt for her and how she was dealing with things. you could relate to what she's done in life and why she is where she is. On the other hand the hero, to me, was likable but mostly all over the place mentally. He was trying to do the noble thing but it just didn't jell with me.
I recommend for people to give these a go. They are a bit long winded in areas but overall a good concept.

The storyline and characters are brilliant exquisitely well written and the stories will pull you in the end. This book covers everything you need to be a great books . Great!
I really enjoyed this series of books. That's why I chose that rating. Man that characters were something serious. I really love each and every book in this Elite series of Military Men. When there was something going on with them and there women. They were on it. Getting things done decently and in order, the way things should be done. This set of books were awesome. Really great read. There was intrigue, some mysteries, and a lot of love and happiness. I recommend this book to all romance readers.

Riveting!
All ten books in one set, WOW! This was a new for me author and a great deal. Three days ago I opened my e-reader and only stopped when I had to run an errand or fell asleep. The action was fast paced, the military jargon was pretty on point, down to the legalese and procedural bits. The characters were fleshed out well and intertwining story made it all cohesive. There was a definite beginning middle and end which left me satisfied that there were no loose ends.

Uneven series
The books are connected but stand alones and each couple gets their HEA. The last story - Chase and Melissa - is the most compelling and an emotional rollercoaster. The first story the female lead is a bit whiny and the second the make lead is such a player I didn't know who he would end up with. Carly's story is also an emotional one but written so that you're invested in her.

Love me some hot men! The hotter the man the hotter the scenes between the man and the woman he falls for! This was one smoking match up after the next one.!! Great match ups for the ones that have dared to try. Wonderful set of books!

I've never read standalone books that tie into each other before. But these books do that. Each story in itself is great reading and I like how each one ties into the other. Loved them all.

Good read
I loved how this series intertwined characters from previous books. I think Aaron and Carli we're my favorite ones. I think KB can even write the same characters as older in time and update us on their lives. Some marriages, kids etc. Good job KB.

All of these books had steamy hot romance, thrilling and exciting plots, along with characters I just fell in love with!

A good read
WOW. This is a fast-paced,, action-packed, suspenseful romance. Each book will keep you wanting more. It will touch all of your heart strings. I laughed, cried, and screamed at times. If you love a good military romance with strong women, this is a perfect match.

A great collection
This was an exciting, thrilling series full of humor, love, angst, and many twists and turns. It's certainly one not to be missed.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and terrific author.

Betrayed and beloved
Loved the main story line except death of Henry which was anti climatic Basic plot was exciting with page turning moments. All in all a lovely book
