Tempting Love on Holly Lane
Christmas is coming to Fireweed Island! Holly Wildes is excited to spend the holidays alone in a calm and peaceful setting with no pesky neighbors, no annoying bosses, and absolutely no horns honking or sirens blaring at three in the morning.
After seven years of giving her all to a top investment firm in Manhattan, her holiday bonus included a pink slip and a rather slim severance package. So when her sister, Maddie, promises the perfect opportunity to work at her tea shop, Holly jumps at the chance to start over.
What Holly doesn’t expect is to live across the street from one of the sexiest men she’s ever encountered. Thankfully, he seems too busy to notice her, and around town, she begins to learn that Nick is anything and everything but a saint. He is definitely not a complication she needs in her life, especially with her parents coming to town.

FINALLY!! Nick gets his story and Nick gets his girl. Well, not so fast. When Holly moves in next door to Nick, there is instant chemistry between the two. It doesn't hurt that Nick finds her dancing around her living room in her bra when they first meet. But it will take more than chemistry to get the likes of Holly to settle down for one second and see there could be more between them than just lusty thoughts. Will there be another love connection for our one of our favorite characters on Fireweed Island? Or will Nick be destined to live the life of a bachelor next to his sexy neighbor?
Bolton, you gave Nick the perfect story. I don't think I could have come up with something any better or write him a girl that is so utterly perfect for him. In fact, I know I wouldn't have. That's why you are the author and I am the reader. I have loved Nick for a few stories now and was always hoping for him to get a girl and settle down. I wanted him to have the best and sweetest girl there was. Little did I know, he would have to actually make the girl listen to reason.(( lol)) This is definitely not what the guy is used to. That's for sure.
The story was so cute and had me hollering in laughter at times. I loved the way the 80's filtrated into the book and had me reminiscing about the good times of that decade. There was so much greatness from that time. And I’m betting Bolton had a fun time writing it into the story as well.
Amazing? As usual. Romantic? Most definitely. Engaging? Yes, yes, yes! It had me swooning in all the right spots and charmed my socks right off! Bolton covered all that a wonderful, romantic and witty book should have. TEMPTING LOVE ON HOLLY LANE was such a beautiful and sweet addition to the series. Now bring on the next one!! There are single people left on the island just waiting for their happily ever after. 5 Stars!!

Great book
I’m absolutely loving this series. Holly and Nicks story is fun but you can feel the emotions swirling between them. Holly is so funny and sweet. Nick is a true gentleman and a great friend. Once they move past friendship there relationship blossoms. Can’t wait for the next book now.

Nick is the best
Nick is such a sweet guy and has lots of best friends because he has soo much to give. I have enjoyed him in other books and glad he finally got a chance at happily ever after with Holly! She is the best person for him. They both were life singles but found a way to be together.

I could not love this book any more. Being an 80's girl myself, I was drawn to Holly's character. I'm known for cranking the 80's tunes when I'm doing stuff around the house, and not always fully clothed... (lol) However, when she and Nick had their Christmas exchange....it's like Karice had a crystal ball into my life. My husband (who I met online---not Tinder...but...just yet another connection to this story) crafted me a piece of furniture for our first (of many) Christmas.... I was almost full out crying during that scene. If you've read the other Island County books, you'll love this one.....if you haven't (Why not??) you don't need to have read them...Nick and Holly have a great story all their own.

4.5 stars! I've always had a soft spot for Nick and loved how his story finally turned out! Nick and Holly are a great match, and I really enjoyed their dynamic. Their friendship was fun and it was nice to see it progress to more. I also liked catching up with everyone from previous books. Overall a very enjoyable story!

Nick is seriously a sweet man, "I took a sip of hot cider and felt Nick come up behind me. “God, you’re a beautiful creature to see,” Nick said, draping his arms over my shoulders." Nick is always ready to lend a helping hand, “then let me help,” he said, unfastening my bra while sprinkling kisses across my skin and slinking the lace over my head. " I loved this book, I really liked Nick.
