Drawn from years of experience and observation, internationally renowned psychic and cosmic life coach Dougall Fraser shares his method for utilizing the colors he intuitively sees emanating from people's souls. From white to gold to emerald green, every color has qualities that you can consciously draw strength and purpose from in order to support and guide you toward achieving your highest goals and dreams.
Fraser explores each color's unique spiritual and practical qualities, providing insight into its history and shadow sides, and exercises to employ each color's maximum benefit. Fraser's step-by-step plan helps you to invoke color energy in your daily life, from the inside out. By understanding the breadth of your soul's color spectrum and the key situations in which you need to activate different colors, you will be able to unlock the full magnitude of your soul's potential.
I really enjoyed this. I'm at the beginning of a journey with colour and exploring what it can do. I found this to be an excellent starter giving details of colours, their meanings, how to activate them to work for you, what type of colour props you could use to do this and the negative side of each colour. An excellent starter book
Energy activation exercises and good description of the colors with personal stories.
White - Spiritual cleansing and clarity Gold - Goal setting and higher thought Silver - Feminine aspect of God; wisdom and home Blue - Truth and wisdom Emerald green - Communication and creativity Purple - Leadership, destiny, purpose Ruby red - Healthy emotions and relationships Orange - Balance and perception Pink - Perfection and unconditional love Mint green - Enthusiasm, change and life force
I heard Dougall speak a few months ago then decided to pick up this book. It is incredibly approachable and manages to be a well defined theory that is beautiful in its simplicity. I love that he invites us to explore color on our own to see what we can learn from activating different colors. I also love the vulnerability of the author as he shares his own stories with us, too. I work as an intuitive and truly appreciate hearing about this work from another.
I have always been a HUGE fan of color. It's one of life's extraordinary blessings. This book affirms that in so many ways and taught me how to use color as a life journey resource. When I'm stuck in writer's block, weighing life's decisions, in low energy mode, I know what to do. COLOR is core!
I read this book with an open mind. I am going to try each color for a week. If I succeed to complete the 10 weeks, it will probably be a miricle. But it was interesting and might end up in my subconscious.
Not only is this book full of fantastic information, I will refer back to this material often because it is so useful. I really enjoy the way Dougall Fraser writes and look forward to his next publication.
This was very helpful when I lost my father last year. It's helped keep me calm and deal with life through my grief. I really enjoyed Dougall Fraser's take on each color's healing quality, and enjoyed the calming meditations and working with each color. Great book to work through at your own speed.
I've always loved colours. They have always been importent in my life. And I've always been interested in how my choice of colours - especially in my clothes - have been changing over time. This book confirms everything I have been feeling.
This book was well written. I was excited to learn about colors from a different perspective. It has changed my thought process regarding color as I go through my day. Thanks Dougall.
You know, sometimes, you choose a book at the right time. I have been questioning some aspects of my life, including my purpose, and so on, and was looking for inspiring book. I just happened to run across this book, when I was looking for something else. I noticed that I had some blocks in my personal life, and I was able to find out, it was because I had "blocks" or shadow sides of the color. For example, I have always struggled with being a Domestic goddess. I always dislike cooking and cleaning, and I found out I need to develop my "Silver color energy". I also have a lot of stuff in my garage that belongs to other family members. I keep meaning to clean out the area, but I just can't seem to get motivated. I believe this also ties in. What gives the author some creditability, is he does relay the problems he had in his own life with his own identity and life purpose.
