I’m stunned by the real courage it must have required to write this book. Bishop Thad has given us as readers the gift of utter transparency about his own wrestling with fear and worry alongside a deeply thoughtful journey alongside Jacob and his wrestling with fear and with God. He shows us that we as people of faith have a path through our own wrestling if we’re willing to be real with God and with trusted companions on the journey. Real courage isn’t the world’s version of courage.
