**Available for a limited time, this box set contains nearly FIFTEEN DOLLARS worth of books for only $7.99!!** Tessa’s life is perfect. She has everything a woman could want, a good job, a family that supports her, and a boyfriend, that only ever tries to make her happy. But somehow, even when she has all these things, she feels like her life is empty. When she lies to Raymond to escape her cut-and-paste life, she meets Beth, a whirlwind of a woman that takes her breath away. Too much alcohol, too little inhibition, and it ends in a night that confuses Tessa and leaves her perfect life a little skewed. She tries harder to make things work with Raymond, partly out of guilt because of what she’s done, and partly because she struggles to change the fact that she’s so unhappy when everything in her life tells her not to be. When she runs into Beth again, and says yes instead of no, her life turns upside down. She doesn’t know who she is, what she wants, who she loves anymore. When she loses Raymond, it hurts more than she expected, but why is that a problem when she still has Beth? With so many questions she barrels forward, hoping that somewhere, some of her actions will offer answers. 1.5 stars... I did not like this series. The idea behind it, with the whole self-discover thing had potencial, but i hated how it was executed. The amount of cheating in this is awfull! I didn't like the charecters overall, Vince was the only character that i kind of liked.... I'm really frustated with all of the decisions that were made...argh!!!!
A series about a woman who is not likable to me. She selfish, self centered and has no idea how to be happy and a whole person. However, she suffers, changes and grows. A brilliant descriptive series about self discovery.
The main character reminded me of myself a little. Not the way she jump from person to person but coming out to my religious family. The author does a good job expressing the fear and confusion once realizing you live the same gender. There were more typos then expected but easy enough to read through it. And 3 months seems too short for self discovery or changing life long habits of self destruction
While the overall impact of the set of stories was quite good and the final couple installments were particularly good, there were some inconsistencies between the sections that detracted. (Not enough to make me lower my rating, but just enough to be a bit irksome.) There were also some editing issues, but I understand those as an independent author. All in all, it was a very good story!
