This is a book of history, not only about the umbrella movement, but also about its causes and effects, its buildup and aftermath, and even its implications towards the anti-extradition movement, and its predecessor movements in the 70s and 80s. I appreciate this type of work, which combined articles from different authors, on the same topic, yet with different angles. Especially with so many figures interviewed in the book, it gives a much broader perspective than a single work, either historic or journalistic could offer.
I wish the new book about the anti-extradition movement can be as good.
