“Again, again!” are the words children often squeal when they hear their favorite stories. My grandma Patty told me stories of her childhood that I never tired of hearing. Encouragement from family and friends and my love of the 1940s time period inspired me to write this novella. May these vignettes remind you of the favorite storyteller in your life. Peggy Poe is an adventurous Midwestern girl growing up on a farm in Southern Indiana during the 1940s.
