Mike Parker gets to hear the bad news from his doctor - he has only six months to live. Shortly after, while he is contemplating the fate of himself and his children, he is made an offer from a mysterious organisation - carry out a quite dangerous task for a huge sum of money that could secure his children’s future. The deal is simple - carry out the task and, if you get caught, keep your mouth shut for the six months - then your children get to inherit a lot of money! Who would refuse?
As the task gets underway, he senses that the nature of the organisation and the task are very sinister, and not quite what he had been led to believe. He is also assigned a task partner who is something of a mystery in her own right, and the police are sniffing around.
Maybe this isn’t going to be as straightforward as he first thought.
At least it will be all over in six months - or will it?
