The name for the two guy characters got me. I didnt like that for a kids book.
The grammar was off also, need to check into that.

Other than that, I think it would be an ok book

Cloud Country. Flovely & her best friend Flirty, Hilde (doe rabbit, cook/baker), & Heino (hare rabbit) plan on having an adventurous journey down the rainbow river.
Uncle Carrot’s old houseboat gets a repair job.
He gives them instructions & his OK so they now the 4 off them can take off.
Merchant Kurt provides them with supplies.
They find/make new friends & build a great pirate's camp at a wonderful beach.
Everyone watches the animals in the forest.
A grand feast is prepared & they gather around the campfire.

I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.

A very awesome book cover, great colored pictures & proper font & writing style. A very well written children’s adventure story book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational adventure movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.

If you ignore the typos and the questionable grammar, the story itself is okay, but I couldn't get over the typos. I mean, it's such a short story, and yeah, it is translated from German originally, I think, but I just couldn't deal. The cook also couldn't decide if Hilde was a rabbit or a doe. For some reason it kept switching between the two. Oh well.

This book is obviously written in a second language for the author. There are lots of typos, spelling, and grammatical errors.

I would not recommend the book as a beginning reader because of these reasons. On the other hand, the story is original and the animal characters charming. Young children might enjoy it as a read-aloud if an adult read it and corrected the errors.

Thought it was about real people - not animals. We had a houseboat and all of us (kids too) could tell many fun srtbmkr

Many fun stories! Kids love to talk about themselves and each other and the adults. Please
!! No more words. You r making the review as long as the book!!!!

This is a difficult one to review. English is not the first language of the author and there are many occasions when this impacts the writing.

The story is entertaining enough for younger children, but probably one I would read to them rather than share with them.

Horrible editing

I couldn't deal anymore with trying to read this to my kids. The spelling was horrible and half the time I was not even following the storyline. I had to skip from the 4th page to the end and pretend I read them the whole thing because it was just awful.

Nice read

Nice little story,BUT it has lots of typos which is quite annoying.Especially considering that kids would read the book, who are just learning to read.

A cute story and I enjoyed it, BUT I think that it was a translation that to my mind could have been a little clearer.
