In Deep
By Callie Harper

It's no secret that Callie Harper has become one of my favourite authors...she never disappoints! In Deep is a fun, flirty and hot n' steamy sports romance, that grabbed my attention from the word go!

Chase and Emma are amazing together and before I knew it, I was IN DEEP!

Chase is the ultimate alpha male and is accustomed to getting what he wants. He is driven, disciplined and let's not overlook the fact that he can disintegrate panties with his dirty talk. I seriously wanted to trade places with Emma. That man left me panting and begging for more! Chase also has a softer, charming side that made him completely irresistible.

Emma is great! She's kind, sweet and has the desire to people. How could you not love her?! I'm not sure how she thought she could keep her hands from wandering, but Thank God that thought didn't last long!

Callie is the Queen of teasing! She creates such angst and build up that it literally has my heart pounding and practically panting, begging for relief! I absolutely loved every minute of this story, great story line, angst and sexual tension, hot n' steamy love scenes... A winning combination in my eyes! Definitely Gold medal worthy!

Rating: 3.5 stars to In Deep!

'I wanted a story with depth and heart. I'd only spent a half hour with the man, and I could already feel he had a lot of both.'

'All eyes were on me, the boy who'd almost drowned, now the man swimming for gold.'.

Chase Carter is a swimming legend, face first and feet finally touching soil in the holy grail of athletic games, the Olympics. Chase is relentless, a machine with a focus so zealous and acute he's the namesake for inhuman drive. Punishing discipline is the labour of love that has brought him such swimming success (I had to go there 😂) Poseidon in the pool, and a mysterious marvel out, everybody wants the exclusive on Chase, to lift the screen off of his secrets that are his to regret.

It's a chance to be a part of Olympic history, and Chase is tunnelled 100% in his personal mission to make Olympic history. His devotion to the sport rivals anything else, it's his first love, and the most vital. His body, waxed and chiselled into peak physical fitness, he's a legendary speed demon in the pool. Chase is not a man of impulse but definitely one of routine, but what most don't know about this swimming prodigy is that the endless blue is both a source of nightmares and dreams for the man who owns the element like a second skin, and he's fought through hell and high water to push boundaries for the latter.

Everything thus far, has gone swimmingly (I had to do it again, it's too easy 😂) for Chase, the prospect of the coming games bringing his inevitable victory closer. How not-so-convenient it would be to rock the boat in a whirlwind attraction that seals an ulterior motive?

Physical therapist Emma Carter has an agenda. Finding herself walking amongst athletics best, she's in the thick of the holy grail that is athletic competition. It's the place and most potent source of gilded stories that could propel her blog to stratospheric success. A dream. Good thing Chase Carter is within touchable reach, the perfect place to unravel the long-sourced myth that is Chase Carter's past. Emma plans to needle her way into the notoriously private swimmer's personal life. How convenient for her that she's also a physical therapist. With the means at her literal fingertips to maintain Chase's prodigious body, she's ready and raring to go, and of course, to be a part of history looks mighty inviting.

As the big games beckon, Chase starts to look more like Chase the person and less like Chase the potential opportunity. A Committment to her lifelong friend and their blogging crusade or the real chance at pursuing a once-in-a-lifetime kind of love?

----------------------------------------
T H O U G H T S ...

1) I loved the excitement and thrill that takes hostage when the Olympics near - everything in the story was built up to the big games, I wanted it to be grand and momentous and bursting with thrill. It was thrilling granted but there was a lot of story skipping going on, something I don't like very much with my reads because it often feels like the author is neglecting the story, in favour of not telling it in the present. These are the big competitive games and even the opening ceremony wasn't described, only briefly mentioned! This is the time to draw out the details not skim past them :(
Towards the end of the story, there's a fair bit of skimming going on too. I don't mind skimmed milk but I prefer full-fat, so skimming parts of a story? A big no no. I want the full fat story version please. Skimming isn't a negative, but I want a story drawn out in the right places.
The culmination of this story for example, was making it to the Olympics. I felt the impending thrill, but most of Chase's events were glossed over. I wanted to feel his win a bit more.

2) Take fair caution if insta-love is not your forte because Emma swoons for Chase right from the start and the feeling is reciprocated - There's a lot of fantasising and fawning. What I can say is that they do hold out before a certain kind of intimacy takes this story into the erotic hall of fame, but there is bucket loads of sexual tension and lust-addled thoughts/encounters. I didn't mind them at all, but sometimes the erotic content was a tad stifling.

3) Chase and Emma are decent characters, but they weren't the best of the best. I've read better characters in the romance genre because some character decisions did needle me, namely on Emma's part. They made a good fit, and although their sexual chemistry was off the charts, I didn't feel the 'you're it for me' chemistry. There was something missing.

4) Tori, Tori, Tori, I did not like Emma's supposedly best friend Tori. She really didn't come across well. She's not supportive, and as we're told, Emma is the cleaner to her mess. Her friend is very impulsive and without thought, even where Emma is concerned. This was intentional on the author's part, I think, because Emma starts to put distance between them when she realises that they grew apart long ago. Concluding? Tori is selfish and self involved. She's not a good best friend. Friends are an effective addition to a story - they open up the story and offer alternative direction. The down side to this story is there's not much facetime with the friends, even Chase's.

----------------------------------------

The title is steeped with ambiguous innuendo and double meaning, referencing a few ideas: Chase's hard, driving disposition to always go full throttle and all in, the literal skill of diving deep in the water that holds his triumph and fear and Emma's being as close as close can be to both romance and gain while she teeters the bridge of loyalty to her friend or devotion to a once-in-a-lifetime type of love.

In Deep is my first Callie Harper novel and while i wouldn't be averse to reading more from her, I did have fluctuating thoughts with the characters and the workings of the plot, but at the forefront, this is an erotic sports romance steeped in heat and whitewashed with the kind of thrill that accumulates a life-long goal. Chase and his friends lived not to tell the tale, a narrative that courses through the media without answer, but it's with wandering eyes, open ears and giving trust that secrets might find the light. With loving hands or misleading ones fits the bill of weaving a romance that has good intentions sitting on some very bad decisions.

In Deep is one for the erotic romance readers!

Thank you for staying with me and I hope you've enjoyed my swimming puns!

Trigger Warning: If you don't like a lot of erotic content in your romance reads, be aware that there is plenty of that going in this book. Also swearing

I found it hard to get into this story, which was surprising because I'm a fan of this author and her writing. I just didn't like either Emma or Chase. They kinda felt plastic to me. I know that explains nothing, but I missed the usual sparks that are familiar to me. Emma turned out to be a liar, even if by omission, but the big reveal still didn't touch me. It could be that contemporary feeling romance isn't really my jam anymore.

Review:
“She sighed as my hand reached the bare skin of the back of her thighs. The sounds she made just about killed me, such a blend of erotic and sweet. She surrendered herself to me so willingly, with such eagerness. She needed a reward for being so good. But not before she took a little punishment.”

5 stroke me stars!!! Who needs Michael Phelps when you have Chase???

Chase…. Chase…. Chase…. I don’t even know where to begin with that man, but let me just say I wouldn’t mind being his physical therapist either… I mean I’m a blogger, I can do it too right?? Anyway, I was deeply entertained and found myself laughing reading this book, like I always am with all of Callie’s books!! I loved the quirky relationship between Chase and Emma, not to mention the heat that these two have together!! I say this all the time with Callie’s books, but I think this has moved to the top as far as my favorites!!! So stop reading this review and go one click this book now!!!

Swimming is one of my favorite Olympic sports to watch and cheer for so this definitely fit me and sports romance is my jam. There are definitely perks aside (cough hot athlete bodies) watching the great athleticism and swimmers flying through water. Cause you know a swimmer has to be in top shape from before to after hence body details ahem.

Chase has been known to be cool, intense, focused, driven unattainable and elite athlete. He is also a person who got passed an accident that shaped him to want to overcome and be better. Also helps that he's hot and super talented. I definitely applaud the ethic and determination. Emma you know right away she had a hidden agenda wanting the inside info but not in a bad way. Definitely likable and down to earth, too nice in a way. The tension they had between them was thick and hot but also it became a friendship and closeness that developed. The chemistry was palpable and sometimes overwhelming. Over time Emma realizes she doesn't want to bring forward a bad memory for Chase as she gets to know him and in deeper with her feelings.

Sometimes we learn the hard way that we are responsible for our actions, intentional or not, that the consequences are not easy. Emma realized that and I'm quite happy that Emma and Chase were rational about things, they moved forward at their own pace and it was a learning experience that made them stronger. In deep was more than just swimming and Olympics it's about life and character too. I truly liked Chase and Emma it was it was such a smooth transition, they felt natural and clicked. Chase was also not a one of those athletes that soaks the limelight and changes him so I loved that.Emma was a fantastic heroine smart, thoughtful, kind and caring but also had her own passion for what she does. I had a hard time putting In deep down, the writing and story pulled me in. Callie Harper did a great job with her first sports romance, well researched and thought out, I'm excited for the next book in what looks to be an exciting series.

~I won an e-ARC of this book from the VBB Vixens Facebook group~

Swimmer Chase Carter's background is well hidden, and journalists of all kinds would kill for his story. Him being an olympic swimmer favoured for gold certainly doesn't help. Emma Nelson is a physical therapist with a hidden agenda. Intent on getting Chase's story, she pulls some strings and becomes the therapist for his swim team.

I really enjoyed In Deep because the characters each have to face some of their worst demons. Emma changes from being a strictly professional physical therapist to a close friend of Chase's. Chase must learn to trust others, and Emma cannot let the truth ruin her. In Deep is Olympic themed, following the USA Olympic swim team. Besides Chase, we meet a few members of his swim team, his coach, and of course his parents.

Told from alternating Emma/Chase chapters, Callie Harper knows exactly when to end a chapter and switch to the other POV. She deliberately chooses a voice in scenes featuring both characters. I especially liked Chase's chapters, but I think they could be stronger as I connected a lot more with Emma. I really liked reading this book, but I think the other swimmers could've been featured more as we hardly got to know them.

Callie Harper is definitely a romance writer as her steamy scenes are well written. The storyline of In Deep isn't always unpredictable, however this didn't make me like the book any less. The style used drew me in and kept me reading Chase and Emma's story.

In Deep by Callie Harper is a fun sexy, extremely sexy summer Olympic love story. Perfect for what I was looking to read. I couldn't put this one down I devoured it in one day flat. I must say I have read some other books similar and this one was my favorite by far! I loved Emma and Chase chemistry from the start. Holy moly these two were hot! I thought Chase was the perfect mix of sexy and sweet. Emma was great as well although I worried a lot about her ulterior motives and how it would all play out. I kept wanting her to come clean. That added a bit of suspense to the story, which I love. All around this was a great summer book to read with the Olympics going on now it gave me a look into how they might work. How crazy hot behind the scenes they must get. I loved it and highly recommend this one. 1-click it you won't be disappointed. I was given this ARC for my honest opinion.

I love all things Olympics related, so needless to say, I enjoyed everything about this book. Chase is a hot , Alpha swimmer with his sights set on Rio. Emma is the physical/massage therapist who's going to help him stay in peak shape. I enjoyed the story of these two very much. Their relationship was great and the sexy times were fire. An awesome novel for sure.

Beth's Review

I am a lover of sports romances, doesn’t matter what sport, if it’s a hot athlete, I want it on my kindle. And with this one being based on the Olympics and them coming up next month, and the main character being a hot swimmer, I figured why not check it out.

Emma is a physical therapist who is good at her job. In her spare time she also blogs with her best friend about athletes on their blog Scoop’d. She was also determined to be part of the USA swim team as one of their physical therapist but the plan was also to get the real story of Chase Carter. Chase Carter is the well know team USA swimmer going for gold at the Rio Olympics this year. Not much is known about Chase except for the fact he was in a boating accident at the age of 14 and almost drowned only to come back and dominate in the sport and now on the way to Rio expected to not only win several gold medals but break world records. Chase is hot, sexy and very intense but so is their chemistry right from the moment they meet.

I really liked Chase’s character. He was driven, intense and very controlling but I must say he was all those but in a very sexy way. But even though he had an Alpha side to him, he was also sweet, thoughtful and caring, and I loved that about him. Last there was also a mysterious side to Chase, he didn’t allow many in, he kept his walls up and a lot didn’t know his true story but there was just something about Emma that had his slowly letting his walls down and letting her into his heart.

I didn’t love Emma’s character, I found she annoyed me more than I liked her. It really annoyed me that she had planned to use her role as Chase’s physio therapist to get her inside scoop on him, on something that was a horrific event that he has kept to himself for a long time and kept out of public eye. Yes she had second thoughts about it but in her type of job she should have never even though about doing it, for me it seems to cross that patient confidentially line and it bothered me that it was never even brought up in the book. And I have to say most of the book I was left thinking and wondering, being part of the staff for USA Olympic team, wouldn’t she have had to sign a confidentially agreement right at the start of her taking on the role, seems to me they would have all members of their staff sign something.

I really wanted to love this book, and I know I will be in the minority here but this one just fell really flat for me. I was left wishing for more story and a lot less sex. I loved their chemistry and the sex scenes were hot but I quickly grew tired of all the sex scenes in the book and honestly began skimming them from about 40-50% on. I struggled to stay engaged in this book, partly due to the lack of story but also partly due to the predictability of this book. I am one of those readers who always finds herself saying “I didn’t see that coming” or “I had no clue that it was him/her”. I never figure the book out and am always blindsided by what happens, not so with this book. I pretty much guessed the major parts of the story long before I ever got there and already having pretty much figured out the story long before it happened just completely unengaged me from it.

Overall this one was just okay for me but it was a fun and flirty romance that had a lot of hot sex in it. This was my first book by this author and although I didn’t love it like most did, the writing was good and I would definitely check out more of her work.

I was lucky to receive a Draft copy of In Deep by this amazing author and OMG this book is HOT!!
In Deep is a sport based book that sucks you under and doesn’t want you to come up for air.
Emma Nelson is a Physical & massage therapist from a loving family. Hasn’t had a decent boyfriend and ends up being attracted like a magnet for the wrong men. She writes a blog with her best friend and they want the stories of the sports athletes especially Chase Carter the mysterious Olympic swimmer. Emma manages to get time off her regular job to do her dream job working with the athletes on the US Olympic swim team. The spark between her & Chase is electrifying from first meeting but because of her ex’s she’s worried she’ll get hurt & there’s also, don’t date the client clause. She knows Chase nearly drowned when he was 14 but he’s tight lipped and doesn’t do interviews about what actually happened. Her intention is to get the full scoop on him but that changes because she gets to know the real Chase and is falling for him fast. He gives her sexual pleasure like she’s never felt before. She’s ridden with guilt about him not knowing she’s a blogger and never finds the right time to tell him.
Chase Carter nearly drowned when he was 14 and only a few people know the truth it’s been kept sealed away from nosey interviewers. Chase is now 26 he has been in the Olympic swimming world for 12 years and has a won bronze and silver but he wants GOLD. The Olympic Games has been his only goal in life and he gives it his all. He’s had relationships with women but swimming is his priority and comes always first his ex’s they think he’s cold & like a robot towards them. Women are a distraction he can do without at this stage in the games or so he thought. He meets Emma his team’s new physical therapist and its game over, he wants her to himself and available 24/7. They get to know each other, have amazing sex bringing out Emma’s submissive side. Chase soon realises that she’s not a bad distraction like he thought she makes him stronger and more focussed. He’s fallen in deep and wants all in with Emma. He has no game plan for after the Olympics and doesn’t know where his life will take him.
What’s going to happen when he finds out the truth that Emma is also an undercover blogger?
Will his past get revealed? Who can he trust?
Will there be a HEA for Chase & Emma when the Olympics is over

Bonus you get a sneak peek at All of Me book 2 (The All In Series) Liam (Chase’s best friend) & Sophia

5 CATEGORY FIVE HURRICANE STARS!!!

This book captivated me from the start. I’ve been dying to read it since I read the synopsis. And....that cover *MOANS* I loved this book!

In Deep is a hot, fun and flirty Sports Romance. And so much more. I enjoyed this love story so much! I laughed, gasped and cheered! And I moaned. A LOT. It’s so sexy and fresh! And inspiring! It was more than just a romance novel, it was a story about overcoming your fears and achieving your dreams, with the one you love. I felt so gushy for Chase and Emma! It wasn’t long before I found myself IN DEEP love with these two!

Chase. He’s the ultimate Alpha, dirty talking and driven male. And in the bedroom? Jesus. He’s dominant, possessive, in charge and relentless. God I wanted to be Emma. The dirty talk had me quivering. BUT. He’s so much more than that. He’s charming, kind, inspiring and has a huge heart. I loved the fact that he wasn’t into casual, meaningless hook ups. And he’s far from a man whore, which I found refreshing! All of these things made me want to lock myself in a closet with Chase. And wrap myself around him. Not gonna lie. Mmmmhmmm. Emma was sweet, thoughtful and fresh. A good person who loves to help others. Together these two lit my kindle on fire. I swear. The chemistry was off the charts. The sexy times (and believe me, there are plenty) had me squirming in my bed. I felt like I was experiencing a category five hurricane. Oh. God. Yes.

In Deep will have you smiling and swooning. Guaranteed. If you like dirty talkers, hella hot sexy times, inspiring characters and an all around hot and refreshing love story, this book is for you! It’s the perfect summer romance! Another amazing story from Callie Harper!

WOW!! What a way to kick off the new series of stand-alones by Callie Harper.
In Deep is a insanely hot, delicious story that dives deep into the heart and soul.

The summer Olympics of Rio is just around the corner and I'm LOVING all the sports books that are releasing following the games. Callie's latest release features swimmer Chase, super hot with a deadly body and a deliciously, dirty way with words. From meeting Chase in chapter two I was in love. Head over heels. In Deep!

Told in alternating POV, we also meet Emma. Chase's new massage therapist. From the off the tension that builds between them is sizzling. Building slowly Chase and Emma never lose the spark but ignite hotter and brighter by the second.

In Deep isn't just two people getting it on either, it actually runs a lot deeper than that. Chase's past and secrets were heartbreaking and Callie wrote the scenes perfectly, to inject just the right amount of emotion to kick start the feels. Of course while reading, Emma's secret and deception will be obvious and I'm sure, like me you'll know, or think you know, how it's going to pan out. But prepare to be pleasantly surprised, Callie's story telling is actually very, very strong and even the most obvious plot lines becoming shocking and intense.

Callie is fast becoming one of my top authors, her novels are always super hot, with dirty, delicious alphas but they also deliver a fresh story and that is written beautifully each and every time and In Deep, definitely takes the gold!!

In Deep by Callie Harper is a sports romance. It's the first book in the All In series.

Chase Carter is an Olympic swimmer. He's on his way to Rio and not sure what is future holds after that. Emma is a physical/massage therapist as well as a blogger. Emma has been commissioned to work with the US Olympic swim team. This means she will be working with the one and only Chase. Chase has a past he doesn't talk about. A past that almost killed him. Emma, being curious about Chase, wants to expose the secretes he holds close. There's just one problem...she went a fell in love with him.

I loved this story. I love Chase. I think he's a great character. The secret he holds close is one that would change anyone's life. Emma gets props for trying to fend off Chase in the beginning. Chase and Emma have a great chemistry. This book is very well written. The story sucked me in from the beginning and held my attention all the way to the end. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

My Thoughts: I was ridiculously entertained by this story. Chase and Emma go really well together. And, as I was being entertained, I was also having my heart warmed...this is more than just a fun sports romance. This story had feels and heart and was really well written. I found myself really invested in the outcome of this story! I was rooting for these guys as if they were a part of my life!

NOTE: Things are not always what they obviously seemed to be :)

Really well done Callie Harper! I am really looking forward to the rest of this series!

I had an image of Michael Phelps in my head when I read this book. It just seemed Chase was Michael. He was the best swimmer, focused on his goal. But when Chase and Emma's relationship changed from professional to personal, Chase's kinkier side came out. Which resulted in me watching MP swim his 200 Butterfly semifinal race thinking he was all into spanking.

MP aside, IN DEEP was one of the better Olympic reads I've immersed myself in lately. The characters were complex, yet easy to like. The storyline interesting and the relationship building between Emma and Chase had me cheering for them all the way to the end.

Really great story of Emma and Chase. Their connection is so easy, so real and passionate, along with immediate. I wholly enjoyed their story. Emma a caring, nice, professional whom is excellent at her job, cares for Chase while he is training (at least she tries to keep things professional). Chase a driven, private person who likes and wants Emma from day 1 and he's used to getting what he wants and what he wants is Emma. Follow them on their passionate adventure of ups and downs, trial and errors.

Being an ex-competitive swimmer I knew that I had to pick this up as soon as I saw it and even better it was free on Kindle! The way that Chase and Emma meet was very believable – He’s an Olympic swimmer and she’s a physical therapist who’s had to fight to get her position on the Olympic team. I thought the struggles that Emma went through about being professional and following what you want was well done and it made it so much more realistic that she didn’t just dive had-first into the relationship with Chase because of their “working” relationship and trying to keep professional. The chemistry between Chase and Emma was also great and really well written and although there were some ‘commanding/domineering’ parts from Chase, I didn’t feel like it was poorly done and again I found it was believable from a new relationship POV for ‘normal’ people who are figuring each other out.

Chase’s doubts over whether he was doing the right thing so close to the Olympics was a great insight as well and I loved how that part played out – especially when everyone else around him was pretty much warning him not to do anything too drastic so near to the Olympics and biggest swims of his life. I thought the way everything came together nearer the end and the twist was really well done and I didn’t see it coming – I knew something was coming to put the couple through their paces and was pleasantly surprised at how it was done. My only issue now it that I wish there was a sequel so I can see how it plays out for them both in the venture they’re undertaking at the end of the book!  This has definitely peaked my interested in sport romance books with it only being the second I've read and I'm definitely going to be reading plenty more!

When i read this type of book i don't go into it expecting much.

But one thing i HATE in romance book if they are about adults that behave like little children that have sex.

That sounds really mean. But honestly this book is a lot of sex and two main characters that behave as if they should be send back to kindergarten. Which just... no thank you?

The idea is lovely, but sadly this just didn't work for me at all. (clearly i am not in the majority with that seeing most of the other reviews where people clearly had no problems with the childish behaviour of the two main characters of this book!)

If you don't mind unnecessary "secret" keeping, very fast sexual relationships and overall unneeded and clearly artificially created drama -since it just doesn't feel natural at all especially since a lot of the drama is made up from the "secrets" that are not even necessary to be kept secret at all...- give this a read.

If you prefer - as i clearly do- to not just have mindless characters. Might want to skip this one.

My first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. I don't think I have ever read a book about an olympic swimmer. Chase was pretty hot and well matched to his sweet blogger/therapist. This was a predictable read, but never the less an enjoyable one. Great chemistry, an intriguing lot of friends that we can read about in follow up books.

This is the second book by Callie Harper that I have read. I thought In Deep was an enjoyable read but it didn’t WOW me. I found that it as the perfect book to read with the Olympics right around the corner.

In Deep is the first book in Callie’s newest All In series. This is a series of standalone novels but will have some overlapping characters. Like I said I thought this was an enjoyable read, but it was missing something for me. I found the story rather predictable and because of that it lacked the angstyness and drama that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I thought the flow of the story was well written and she gave us some amazing characters. I connected to this storyline on a personal level because I have a child who is an avid swimmer, so I could relate to everything Chase had to go through. I will admit, I thought the pace of the book was on the slow side. There was quite a bit f inner monologue going on that tended to slow things down. I felt some of that could’ve been left out and would have moved things along little faster.

I know this sounds like I didn’t like this story, but that is far from the truth. I would recommend this book to the fan of a sports romance novel. I thought it was unique in that I haven’t read any books that revolved around the Olympics or the subject of swimming. I also liked that the heroine of this book was a blogger :) Just because this wasn’t a 5 star read for me, doesn’t mean that others won’t love this story.

In Deep revolves around Chase and Emma. This is told in Dual POV. Chase is an Olympic swimmer heading to the 2016 Olympics in Rio. He missed the last games because of an injury, but he is planning on bringing home Gold for all of his events this time. Because of this he brings in a physical therapist….Emma. Emma is a therapist and a blogger with her BFF. When she is given the chance to work with Chase, she jumps at the chance. Emma is the blogger with a heart. She is the one who writes feel good pieces. She likes to showcase certain people and show their good in the community. So she gets the idea of doing a piece on Chase. Chase is a man of mystery due to an accident that happened when he was 14. He doesn’t like doing interviews and refuses to talk about the past. Will Emma be able to get Chase to open up to her? Will she uncover the hidden mystery that is Chase’s past? What happens when Chase finds out that Emma is really a blogger? Will these two be able to find their HEA?? To find out those answers you’ll need to read this book.

So again, if you are a fan of the sports romance story, then I think you should give this a try. I know I look forward to other books in this series.. Hopefully we’ll get to see Chase and Emma again in the future.

Oh yes, I like this book already. We start off the book, meeting Emma. Emma is a physical therapist and a massage therapist. She has worked for months trying to land the client she has just landed. Who is Chase Carter and why was she so hot to land him? Who is Tori? We find ourselves looking at another book about swimming and the Olympics, this one in Rio. We keep reading about an accident he was in. What happened? What made him decide to become a swimmer? His answer he gave to Emma really felt like a non-answer to me. We're 18 days away from going to Rio in the book and Emma is constantly on Chase's mind at this point. Is he on hers? What does her best friend keep telling her to do or not do? Can these twoo ever figure things out without others interfering? When there is a night out at dinner with dancing at a nearby Mexican restaurant to the hotel they're staying in, what happens that prompts Chase's teammates to finally start talking to Emma? Where does everyone go after they're done in San Antonio? How long are they there? Then where do they go? When they are in Georgia, what happens? What agreement do they come to and how long before the agreement is broken? When Emma cannot go through what she and Tori had talked about, in getting the scoop. What does that mean? What does Emma tell Tori and what does Tori say or do about it? When Emma gets into her own head, Chase notices. What does he do about it? Does Emma tell him about her secret? About her 'other side'? When her secret comes out, how does Chase find out about it? What happens with Emma and Chase? Can they figure out how to get past it? What the future holds you will need to read the book to find out about.

I cannot even begin to tell you how freaking sexy and enticing Emma and Chase's book In Deep was. Their sexual chemistry had my lady bits screaming and their foreplay left me smiling. This book was so much fun to read!! I loved it!

Emma is a full-time sports massage therapist who blogs on the side with her best friend, Tori. Although it is not her passion, Emma wants the site to be successful. Together they come up with the article idea that will put their blog in the spotlight and help them achieve this goal. All they need to do is score the elusive story with, Chase. The Olympic athlete everyone wants to know about.

After months of working diligently to put herself in front of him, Emma lands the job of taking care of Chase. However, all of her efforts and research didn't prepare her for this alpha male to the extreme. Chase is cocky, confident and sexy as hell. It is obvious right from the first few moments together that this relationship is going to be passionate and captivating.

And the feelings of insta-lust are not one sided! Chase immediately wants Emma all to his self and does everything in his power to put her in his path multiple times a day. From there they develop a playful and flirty relationship with strong lustful undertones. They are entertaining and interesting. I adored every moment I spent with this couple.

But the best part about the book was getting to know both characters. Callie Harper wove a seriously alluring tale of romance and drama that I devoured. Not only are you hot and bothered, but you are also emotionally invested in this relationship. I worried about what would happen to this duo when all of their secrets were revealed. I wanted their happily ever after.

I recommend reading In Deep and keeping this series (and author!!) on your radar. I know both been added to my must stalk list!
