Oh boy. This book. All the feels!!!!!!
I’ve been sitting here trying to remember the last book I’d read by Victoria Ashley…and I was drawing a blank. I know there’s a bunch on my TBR, and I know I’ve met her a few times and have a few books signed….but the last one I’d read…uh…. *shrugging*…it’s been a while. So long in fact, that it was like rediscovering the author. The whole time I was reading, I kept thinking why haven’t I read more by her?! and I honestly don’t have an answer for that.
Styx grabbed me from page 1. I loved the character. He was the perfect mix of hot, alpha and awesome. Styx was seriously my perfect man…and I don’t say that lightly. The last time I said that, it was about Nero by Sarah Brianne. Styx seriously gave Nero a run for his money, shoving his way to the front of the line for my heart. They’re on equal footing now…and that just never happens. Nero has reigned supreme for the past 2 years.
As much as I loved Styx, and I didn’t have a problem with him being a male dancer…I also have to admit that if I had been Meadow, and Styx had given me a private dance…I don’t care how much I loved him, I would have been laughing my ass off. I don’t doubt that it was hot and sexy…but I still would have been laughing my ass off.
I seriously loved Styx. From the first time he saw Meadow, she was different to him and he became all about her. She was the only woman on his mind, the only one he wanted to touch (and to touch him) and she was the one he wanted. He set out to win her and boy did he ever. He was super protective over both his mom and over Meadow…he was just perfect. And the date he planned for his first “official” date with Meadow…perfection. I seriously wish he were real, or at least able to walk out of my kindle because I want him to be real.
I really liked Meadow. She was just as intrigued by Styx. He wasn’t just a hot guy/male dancer…she wanted to know more about him. She was right there beside him, with him throughout the whole book. She stood by him when things went wrong, and was there to comfort both him and his mom. Meadow was awesome.
I’d forgotten how much I’d enjoyed the Walk of Shame guys/books, and Styx reminded me how awesome they are. I can’t wait to go back and re-experience the characters and books. This one is a must read!

It started off good, but then it got a bit cheesy. Some scenes were too similar to Stone's book so this lost some sex appeal for me. Still a good series if you're looking for something quick and fun.

I think this one is my favorite in the series.
I liked this couple a lot. Felt like they really connected somehow deeper than the previous couples. Love their story. Simple, unexpected, with lots of feelings and sensible moments for both of them.
Now, I can't anymore with biting the lower lip. He bites, she bites, the last 3 couples did this at least 10 times a book. Gha, the repetition is quite annoying. 🤪

Perhaps I'm bias when it comes to Victoria Ashley's writing, but I just LOOOVVEE her books!! It's a guilty pleasure of mine.
Styx. Aside from the total alpha hotness that he is, he also has the heart of gold. I would love a man meat like him.
And Meadow. I liked her. Sometimes, while I do enjoy one main character I don't like the other but Meadow was different. I relished that he was no easy gal and had brains and something going for her other than being the typical girl doormat we see with dominating men.
Gosh, it's so hard to tell which man from the WOS series is my fave at this point! They're absolute book boyfriend material once they're hooked-lined-and sunk for their gals!

Okay so I'm clearly in the minority. Sadly this book lacked depth and flow. The writing style was very simple and I struggled to really feel any of the angst or the emotional connection. While this was lacking for me, I appreciate others might enjoy it more

I'm not even gonna try and hide it!! I love this author! she just pulls you into every scene she writes and makes you feel everything the character does.
This is book 2 in the Walk of Shame second generation series.
Up this time gyrating those sexy hips is Styx. Hot, sexy and cocky Styx gets what or who he wants when he want's. But he's finding he's tired of all the screaming women he entertains every night, he wants something more. He wants someone to call his own and someone he can take care of and build a family with. Having been subjected to abuse by his father Styx is determined to be nothing like him. He is nothing like him. Styx also runs his Uncle's gym and it's there he meets Meadow. Meadow spends her life taking care of people. She's a nurse and has dedicated her life to looking after patients. She has very little time to herself so she goes to the gym late after her shift. Something clicks between them and the story goes from here.
Now I'm finding it hard to put into words how i feel about this book so if it's a little jibberishy then I'm sorry! Whilst i was reading it i got like a strange tightening in my chest and my face came out of it's usual RBF status and i was smiling! I realized when i finished it was because i loved it!! Warm fuzzies were felt big time. I absolutely fell for both these characters (begrudgingly with Meadow because I'm jelly she has Styx, yes i know they're not real!! I'm not completely cray cray!) Meadow is kind and caring but there's also a naughty streak that runs through her and Styx seems to completely bring that out of her. The flirting that goes on between them will make you grin and beg for them to get it on! When they do.. woooooo baby hell yeah!!!
Styx... i just... i want.. he's so... HOT! I can't even... words... fail... he's just... I'm finding it hard to put into words what he is because he's just everything! He's perfect! yeah yeah no ones perfect but he's my kind of perfect. He's HOT, he's sexy, he's sweet, he's kind, he's romantic (yes! he is!) he's HOT, he's protective, he's caring, he's HOT i mean those dances... yuh huh private dance... mmmmmmyummmmmy... sorry lost track there for a minute. He's just the best! I have a serious book boyfriend crush i don't know how I'm going to get over it! I won't spoil the plot but the way he's so protective, respectful and honorable (well try's to be, sometimes he can't say no to her lol) with Meadow it's just off the freaking charts! I just love him and that's that! #Mine.
The story is superb, the plot keeps you reading, the story just smothers your heart and leaves you feeling happy and fantastic. As i said at the start this author makes you feel everything the characters do, it's truly a great thing to read. I also loved seeing some of the older Walk of Shame characters like Cale and Slade it's fab seeing those guys again. Also new boys including Kash who is up next!
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!! Did i mention that i loved it? Well i did. I highly recommend this sweet hot sexy read. It can be read as a standalone but you'd be missing out on so much if you didn't read book one of this series Stone, and the the previous Walk of Shame books. I mean seriously missing out! Go clicky finger it, turn the lights down low, maybe light a few candles and grab your B.O.B then enjoy the ride!!! Pony Style! ;)

Holy Hell! i mean holy hell!
She has done it again!
Meadow the overworked nurse at the local hospital who just wants one person to always be there for her when she needs them most. After losing everyone she holds dear and that she loves she has no choice but to close off any kind of attachment to anyone because she fears being left behind and hurt. What she never expects is the form of everything she wants in one person, can she be level with him and finally maybe be open?
Styx one of the men at Walk of Shame who grabs the attention of women wherever he goes. But being at the top and wanted by more women than he can count definitely gets old after so long. Is it wrong to want a normal life where women aren't constantly grabbing at him and want one thing from him. There has to be more to life than what he has now. When he sees her he doesn't expect to feel what he does for this woman but he is intrigued and wants to know her, but can he let her in to the deepest part of him and have her know him, the real him?
I have waited patiently for this book and once i got it i wanted to dive in immediately but i was in the middle of another book and i was trying my hardest to hold off but ultimately Styx won. As with any of Victoria's book i was immediately sucked in awed by this man and then Meadow. This couple has a dynamic that i loved, they are both broken people and seek to keep that hurt and pain hidden from everyone but ultimately they can't. Suffering alone just doesn't work anymore when you crave that persons touch to make you feel better, feel safe.
If i could give this book more than five stars i would but damn it i cant, at least on here. The pain that these two characters have emanates from them and you feel it in waves, the loss, the hurt and most of all the love. Being able to feel these emotions just from a book and the words inside is amazing. Victoria is amazing in what she does and never disappoints me in any book she has written since i have read them all. I truly cannot wait for Kash especially after that little sneak peek! Bring it on, I'm ready!

These WOS boys have me hooked and Styx is my new favorite male. Meadow is a strong woman that is strong but hands over control to this delicious alpha male at the right times. Seeing him be protective of the women in his life just has me swooning more and more. This series is great and I will definitely be heading into book three next.

I can't even begin to explain how much i love this series. Victoria Ashley out does herself every time with each book. Styx is the latest instalment of the 2nd Generation Walk of Shame men and holy shit was it epic. She did it again, dragged me inside the story and i soaked up every word. I lived the story.

Styx will consume you, in the previous books we see him as a sexy cocky male stripper but he is so different from the other guys and i absolutely loved that Victoria gave him his own story and allowed us the chance to see a whole different side of him. He's sweet, loveable and a has a huge heart of gold. When stripping becomes exhausting and starts losing it's appeal all Styx wants is to find the love of his life, settle down and cherish her. Then he meets Meadow....
Meadow is an overworked nurse who has been taking care of herself for so long. Then she meets Styx one night at the gym and there's a connection there that neither of them can deny. Meadow is such a strong independent character, not easy to let just anyone into her heart. She's beautiful, hardworking, strong but vulnerable and so damn sweet, she's exactly what Styx is looking for.
Styx is a man that goes after what he wants, so he doesn't give up easily with his chase of Meadow. She's reluctant to let him in at first because she's lost everyone and is afraid to get hurt but eventually she opens her heart and I'M SO FUCKING GLAD she did. These characters bring out the best in each other, they just click and its so damn intense and beautiful. I smiled the whole way through this book.
This whole book is flawless, the characters are so freaking easy to fall in love with and the plot just flows effortlessly, it's awe inspiring that this author creates stories that are so captivating and manage to capture your whole heart and soul whilst reading its truly an amazing feeling.
So yes, Victoria Ashley created yet another story i couldn't tear myself away from. She blows me away every single time. I for one am going to be gutted when this series ends. I think i rambled the whole way through this review so all thats left to say is 5 SMOKING HOT STARS AND BRING ON KASH!!!

I have waited patiently for this book and once I got it I wanted to dive in immediately but I was in the middle of another book and I was trying my hardest to hold off but ultimately Styx won. As with any of Victoria's book I was immediately sucked in awed by this man and then Meadow. This couple has a dynamic that I loved, they are both broken people and seek to keep that hurt and pain hidden from everyone but ultimately they can't. Suffering alone just doesn't work anymore when you crave that persons touch to make you feel better, feel safe.
If I could give this book more than five stars I would but damn it I cant, at least on here. The pain that these two characters have emanates from them and you feel it in waves, the loss, the hurt and most of all the love. Being able to feel these emotions just from a book and the words inside is amazing. Victoria is amazing in what she does and never disappoints me in any book she has written since I have read them all. I truly cannot wait for Kash especially after that little sneak peek!

She has done it again!
Meadow the overworked nurse at the local hospital who just wants one person to always be there for her when she needs them most. After losing everyone she holds dear and that she loves she has no choice but to close off any kind of attachment to anyone because she fears being left behind and hurt. What she never expects is the form of everything she wants in one person, can she be level with him and finally maybe be open?
Styx one of the men at Walk of Shame who grabs the attention of women wherever he goes. But being at the top and wanted by more women than he can count definitely gets old after so long. Is it wrong to want a normal life where women aren't constantly grabbing at him and want one thing from him. There has to be more to life than what he has now. WOW!! These WOS boys just keep the heat coming! This story is the perfect addition to the WOS stories, and the perfect addiction for everyone that loves them. These boys are HAWT!!! The storyline was incredible. The detail and description will make you feel like you are the one on the receiving end! Styx is a great character; hot and possessive, yet sweet and romantic. Some of the scenes will leave you breathless, while others will melt your heart. Meadow is just precious. I love her! She is a strong, independent woman and isn’t afraid to just go with the flow. I honestly don’t think that anyone that reads this book won’t love it. It is that good. Looking forward to Kash!!

Well the boys of WOS are back at again. Styx is getting tired of all the meaniless women and the club scene, when his path crosses with Meadows. Meadow is a nurse who has suffered the loss of her family and doesn't want to commit in fear of losing someone else, but Styx comes in and shows her that no matter what is happening around them he is going to be there for her. There story was great and they were so supportive of each other and it was great catching up with some of the boys from WOS. I have truly loived this series by this author and it honestly makes me wanna visit a strip club lol.

Gah....this story was....amazing! I know that doesn't tell you much but I hate when reviews tell you sooooo much about the story there is no point reading it.
Instead let me tell you how I felt...I felt happy and hot! The build up of the relationship between Styx and Meadow just made me sigh. There was a lightness between them and when they had fun they made you want a relationship just like that. There was no HUGE drama in the story but there was a enough realness to keep you reading.

Styx was better that the previous book I've read in the series but still not something that I can say I really enjoyed. It took me almost a year to finish it and it's a positive that it didn't end up in my never-ending-half-read list.

Styx is one of my favorite wos men! I didn't expect a man working at wos to be so sweet on top of it all. He is very protective and caring, on top of his really dirty side, he has to be considering he's a stripper. I liked his overall arc and how his relationship with Medow developed. She is a nurse with a wild side to her. I liked that they seemed to develpo naturally, and they had some crazy hot times through out! Definitely a dirty couple with some kink to them. As always I love to see the others from wos through out. I really enjoyed the story all the way through. It isn't just a dirty stripper book, it has an entertaining and thoughtful plot line. It's one of my favorite wos books so far!

OMG....Styx is the ultimate alpha male with a heart of gold! This novel is captivating and one of a kind. Styx grabbed my attention from the very first sentence; I was an immediate goner. There is no one out there like Styx.
As it usually comes with Victoria Ashley’s novels I was completely addicted from the very first page. Styx turned out to be my favorite character in all of her novels combined. I didn’t think that would happen. I will always have a special place for Slade since he was the first novel I read but…Styx was amazing.
The novel starts off on a hot as hell note. Styx is a male entertainer and he’s in the middle of working ‘it’. With some crazy hot dance moves he gets business done. The women around him are going crazy and being all grabby hands but Styx comes to a realization the women do nothing for him now. The life of a male entertainer that he once loved he now finds exhausting.
Styx yearns to find the one woman that doesn’t look at him as a piece of meat, the one woman that looks past his outer shell and sees him for the man he truly is. Then and only then will he give away his heart completely.
Styx isn’t just a male entertainer with a heart of gold. He also has a dark side to his past. He’ll do everything and anything in his power to keep the one’s he holds close safe. I get that this is a fictional world but my heart honest to god broke for the guy when he completely lost it and exposed all of his pent up rage and anger on the one that has been the cause for complete turmoil and misery he has felt for all those years.
Meadow is an amazingly strong woman that has been through her fair share of tragedy also. She’s lost everyone she cares about. She’s a nurse that is existing from day to day. The only relationships she has are with those that work beside her. She goes on living like this not seeing the issue at hand until a chance encounter run in with Styx when she switches gyms and finds herself at his gym. I loved Meadow’s character. She is independent with a mind of her own. She also has determination to go after what she wants in life.
OMG the sexy time scenes in this novel are out of this world crazy hot. One thing I love about Victoria Ashley’s novels is she doesn’t skimp on the details! This is probably one of the hottest books that I’ve read by Victoria Ashley. It could also be I’m a bit biased because Styx is my new favorite. *Shrugs shoulders*.
No doubt about it Styx scorched the pages on my kindle!
The only thing I wish was added would have been the conversation between Styx’s mom and Meadow after they left his moms house. There was mention of a conversation they had for hours. i would have loved to see how that conversation played out and I would have loved to see the start of an emotional bond between the two form.
This series is my go to series when I’m in a book funk but I’m thinking this novel is about to put me in a major book hangover state! If you haven’t read the Walk of Shame series or the Walk of Shame 2nd Generation series yet I highly recommend it to you.

Victoria Ashley has made it damn near impossible to choose which Walk of Shame man would be my favorite! Just when I think she has given me my favorite sexy stripper, I am falling head over heels for another one. She definitely does not disappoint with Styx in her latest WOS book!
Styx is one of the sexy next generation strippers at the Walk of Shame and boy he is a favorite of the women. Every night that he works, he cannot keep the ladies off of him and is constantly being propositioned for all sorts of naughty things by these women. As much as he loves the attention and the women, he is starting to realize that he is missing what Cale, Hemy, and Slade all have, LOVE. He wants to find that one woman, but doesn’t want a girl that is always at the strip club fawning over all of the men each night.

Styx is an awesome character and I loved Meadow for him. They go together so great, even though they both have some family issues to get over. Ummm.... WOW! I am STILL in complete amazement at how bad ass Victoria is. I know shes a bad ass... But she keeps getting more bad ass. I LOVE IT! Her books are amazing and Styx was as I expected it to be. FUCKING GREAT! Its insane how I can keep falling for her characters and want to keep them all for myself.
I really think I need a Styx in my life. Hes like the other WOS boys in the alpha male hotness way. But yet he is so different. Hes not out looking to bang and go home. No connection, no love, no commitment. Hes at a point in his life to where he wants MORE. And boy does he get it! I loved this about him. He didn't run from how he felt. He seen what he wanted and he went for it. HE made things happen. The man is so freakin sweet I think I may have a cavity for real. Styx melted my heart and made me swoon.
Meadow is just a freakin sweet as Styx. Only my girl here is a little more resistant to her feels. Not saying she doesn't have any friends, but shes more of a loner. A workaholic. Shes strong and fierce but at the same time shes vulnerable. Shes also getting to that point in her life where shes not happy with settling. Her attraction to Styx is strong. I mean who doesn't like a man who can shake his cock and back it up?! I sure as hell do! LOL
Although these two seem to click perfectly theres always something keeping them from making that final push. To vocalize their feelings. Their internal struggles killed my heart at times. I wanted to hug them both so much. Styx is so freakin sweet and I love his protective demeanor. Cause that's what he is.... A PROTECTOR.

I wanted to hug them both so much. Styx is so freakin sweet and I love his protective demeanor. Cause that's what he is.... A PROTECTOR.
This book has all the feels. Theres some angst theres some tears theres some laughs..... It has everything you could want or need. In true Victoria fashion, theres definitely some sexy! WOOWEEEEE! I love her words. They make me escape reality and that's what I always want in a book. She made it happen AGAIN!

Omg! I cannot tell you how much I loved this book. I never wanted it to end and in so hope the author continues their story. This was insanely hot hot hot. I cried I laughed and I fanned myself a lot.
Meadow is a nurse that is overworked and extremely tired. She has lost everyone in her life and feels so lost and alone. She fears she will always be hurt by someone so she throwsnherself into her work trying to make others feel needed. She joins a new gym and stops to work out on her way home. When Styx lays eyes on her he is mesmerized by her. From the moment their eyes meet he knew she was different.
Styx is a male stripper and it soon looses its appeal for him. He wants one woman to come home to and love her like he wants to be loved. He has a heart of gold and when he loves he l o vets with his whole being and he will give all that he has to that one special person.
A spark ignited between them and this is where their story begins.
Meadow has been lost for so long and Styx fills that void within her and makes her feel whole. They both are hurting and broken but they find being together takes away some of that pain. Styx is very protective of Meadow and is always there to protect her. She is constantly surprised that what he , promises he followers thru on.
I don't want to give too much away but just know that this truly an awesome book. When the author puts her heart and soul into a book it shines thru her characters and the story. The true test of great book is it Copenhagen you thinking about it days later and can't get the characters out of your head.

Just when you think the Walk of Shame men can't get any better along comes Styx. Victoria writes with a lot of heart and passion. You can how much by the way it translates so much into her characters. Styx is a haunted soul with a tortured past yet he has a heart of gold. When he loves he loves with his whole being and when he gives he gives all that he has. He's one hell of a sexy stripper at the Walk of Shame. Where that once was fun and full of quick thrills has become old to him. He yearns for that love thats's missing in his life. Then comes Meadow who comes along with her own stresses and pain. When they meet a spark is ignited and whether they realized it at the time or not their relationship began. Styx is known as a giver and when he gives he gives with his mind, body and soul. He has a way to draw you to him and make you never want to leave. He is so sweet, hot, sexy and loving. Meadow was a bit of a lost soul just going through life existing in the pain that she has been living with. Styx was that missing link that made her feel whole. Their relationship was gradual and when they knew they were for each other they became so intertwined with each other. My heart ached for these two. They were both hurting yet you couldn't help wanting them to unite because you just knew that they would be something special and what each other needed. It really opens your eyes not to judge people. Being a stripper is what they are not who they are. These boys are the most sexiest, loving, caring, sweetest characters that you'll ever read. They all keep you on the edge of your seats wanting more because once you get a taste of the Walk of Shame boys you will be owned in the best possible way.

Oh my my my! I’m still in such a hangover over this book, it’s taken me a few days to write my review. I mean seriously, I’m STILL over here swooning over this man! He’s an effing giver? Yes, PLEASSSEEEE! I will gladly take what this man is giving any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Whew! Styx is seriously HOT and as Alpha as they come. But the man is a romantic as well. Be still my heart…I’ve got one word for you…gazebo! Read it, you’ll see! Totally swoon worthy even more so after that. Meadow (I freaking LOVE her name) is a strong woman who has seen so much loss in her life, it makes her shy away from relationships for fear of being left alone again. Styx has his work cut out for him to win her over.
Styx has been dancing at Walk of Shame for a while now, and while it was all fun and games at first, he finds himself wanting more out of life than just the screaming women that grope and grab him every night. Wanting someone to take care of, protect, and give his whole heart too. Styx is so endearing to me. Here’s this gruff man on the outside, but a total sweetheart on the inside. Willing to do anything to protect the women in his life and not afraid to show his love. Styx has steadily moved to the top of my BBF’s! I have loved every single WOS book so far, Victoria Ashley’s writing only gets better and better. She brings us not only the extreme sexy HOTNESS that is the men of WOS, but also a fantastic storyline that will break your heart and make you love Styx and Meadow even more. I CANNOT wait for Kash! I LOVE it when these Alpha men are brought to their knees by a great woman.
