I began publishing what I wrote as a novice reporter at 16 for my high school newspaper "The Static". The following school year I was Assistant Editor then in my senior year I was the monthly paper's Editor.
From then on I never stopped writing - moving to a regular column in a weekly community newspaper then features and columns in large city daily newspapers and then expanding to regular magazine features and columns.
With plot ideas and research literally 'piling' up, I left journalism for fiction in 2006 then ePublished my first mystery in 2011. Since then I now have 16 titles in print and electronic format for both adult and MG/YA readers...
I read this in one sitting; granted it’s not a long book but it is definitely engaging. The story was a good one. I figured out who the killer was early on but I have a knack for figuring out plots that often most people don’t. What I liked the way the writer hinted yet in subtle ways certain facts that could point to who the killer could be. At the same time, they offered various possible suspects. I did expect the possibility that the killer would go after innocent people. The author did a good job of keeping any possibilities open which is what made the such an engaging read.
Tucson Detective Andrew Coates is the rookie detective assigned to solve cold-case murders. When a fourth victim is found Detective Coates with the help of a homeless veteran sets out to track a psychopath on the verge to kill again. I really enjoyed reading this great read. I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving a free copy.
