The story that stood out for me in this fourth collection of the Cold Blood series was "A Murder Story" by Jas. R. Petrin. It's a darkly-humorous tale about a serial killer who befriends a milquetoast law clerk, with whom he confesses his sins because police refuse to believe he's a murderer.
