Desolate Era #16

The Nihilum Zone

Rate this book
Fate had never been kind to Ji Ning. Wracked by illnesses and infirm his entire life on Earth, Ning knew early on that he would die as a teenager. What he didn’t know was that there really was such a thing as life after death, and that the universe was a far larger place than he thought.

A lucky twist of fate (one of the few in Ning’s life) meant that Ning was reborn into a world of Immortals and monsters, of Ki Refiners and powerful Fiendgods, a world where Dynasties lasted for millions of years. A world which is both greater…and yet also smaller…than he ever could imagine. He would have the opportunity to join them, and in this life, Ning swore to himself, he would never let himself be weak again!

The Era he was born into was a Desolate one, but Ning would make it his era.

Just as poor as the last one and equally as pointless.

I've never dropped a series I've invested this much time in before but the next book needs to be considerably better than the 2 that preceded it otherwise I'm done.

Its breathtaking to witness the protagonist's growth. New Techniques, New Path and New Tribulation!

This book was very different. I would have never thought of this story going to fight space aliens. It ended up being alright just a weird twist.

- Quote: All that is in the past. There is no way to reverse the flow of time, and there is no way to change past history. Punishing one’s self for something one can no longer alter…that is nothing more than being made a fool of by fate!
- Thoughts: After some interesting and unexpected developments in the end of the previous book, we get to see an entire filler book. Although not a good book, it doesn't really change anything in the main storyline.
