smiley face cookie:

Leather Pants is book two in the Happy Pants series by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. Mimi Jean is one of those authors that can write in any genre and every single book is unique, fun, full of surprises and always, we get our Happy Ever After. Some books are darker, some will make you smile, and ALL are amazing.

Leather Pants - Mimi Jean Pamfiloff:

Lucy’s magical love cookies have found their mark once again in the honorable Judge Sarah Rae Alma of the San Francisco County Superior Court. Sarah’s life has been lived according to a self inflicted time line and she has hit every mark with her next goal being the state supreme court. Today is Sarah’s thirty fourth birthday and she just got the shock of her life when she was looking at her court schedule for the day. Listed is the one and only Colton Young, notorious, leather clad, bad boy rock star. This isn’t Colton’s first time in her court room. The first time he was there, Sarah was completely dazed by his beauty and completely embarrassed herself by flubbing her words. She can handle this, right?! She can keep her cool and act professionally. This man is a public example to young people and he’s completely wasting his life. It was her job to hold him responsible for his actions and make sure he pays his debt to society.

gavel:

Sarah’s friends want to make sure she loosens up and celebrates her birthday. Sarah can have fun, right?! Even though the most excitement she usually has is staying home and going over her next day’s cases. So they take her out to a fun bar. A sexy red dress, several drinks and a chance meeting changes the course of her life in every way possible, and that of a certain bad boy rock star.

Leather Pants - Mimi Jean Pamfiloff:

This book is amazing. I seriously fell in love with Colt. He is one of those characters where every layer that is peeled away makes him more and more amazing. It has been a rough year for Colt. Sarah discovers his secret and wants to help him. Whenever these two are together, they seem to bring out the best in each other. Colt helps Sarah to see herself as more than just a judge, as a career driven woman. He makes her feel beautiful, desirable and sexy. And Colton, well, I can’t say too much because that might give some things away but Sarah brings Colt peace. She makes him smile. Whenever he closes his eyes, it’s her lips, her eyes, that he sees.

man in leather pants:

Talk about twists and turns, this book is full of them. Wow! I don’t know how many times I thought to myself that I never saw THAT coming! We also get to revisit Taylor and Bennett Wade from the previous book quite a lot. Lucy, the baker of those smiley face cookies and matchmaker extraordinaire plays a big part in this book as well.

Cheering Crowd:

I have loved this series from the start, Happy Pants Café, Tailored For Trouble, and now Leather Pants. I think this one has the most surprises of them all! You will definitely smile, a lot, while reading this, you will gasp, perhaps mutter some expletives and maybe even sigh a few times. Mostly, though, you will just enjoy this fabulous book. At least I hope you will. You don’t have to but I encourage you to start at the beginning and enjoy the whole series. I can’t wait for the next book in the series, Skinny Pants, which will be about Jack, Taylor’s brother. So, get settled in because you won’t want to stop once you start this book, and meet Sarah and Colton. You’re about to go on a wild and crazy ride. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Thank you Mimi Jean, for another amazing book!

Love, love LOVE Mimi's books! She could probably write a Math book and make it fun.

Meet rock star Colton Young... he can seduce you with his voice and ruin your career or at least Judge Sarah's career.

The Honorable Sarah Rae Alma hates bad boys... except this one
[image error]

Sarah has a life plan that doesn't involve the likes of him until her on her 34th birthday the stars align, her friends conspire and cupid cookies are eaten and her life will never be the same

In true Mimi Jean fashion, this book is full of twists and turns you'll never see coming.

Leather Pants is book #2 in the Happy Pants Caf'e Series by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. It is a standalone contemporary romance. With a happy ending.

Everybody loves cookies, right? What if the cookie “loved” you back? Better yet, what if that cookie helped you find your true love? Who knew when Judge Sarah Rae Alma ate that cookie that her life was about to turn a drastic u-turn from staid and proper, hard-nosed judge to lovestruck woman who finally took a chance on love and living free?

Court has officially come to order and Sarah must summon all of her wits when leather-clad, rocker-bad boy, Colt Young once again enters her court. Last time was bad enough, but this is just pure primal torture. Face it, who could resist the sexy rocker whose skin tight pants caressed an amazing a** and powerful legs? What is it about this guy that calls to Sarah’s carefully hidden bad girl? Still, laws are laws for a reason and it is up to her to punish Colt for his misdeeds.

Something is rotten in Denmark, or should we say California as Sarah discovers the real Colton Young beneath the hype and façade of party animal Colt. Too bad this is not exactly cricket for a judge with a life goal of making it to the Supreme Court. With a few twists, a few literary sucker punches and a whole lotta laughter, adventure and love, my verdict for LEATHER PANTS is GUILTY for being a fantastic, light-hearted read with a suspense on the side!

Mimi Jean Pamfiloff is making us laugh and swoon one more time as she adds LEATHER PANTS to her literary wardrobe in the Happy Pants Series! Sit back, relax and dive in prepared to swoon, laugh, sigh and hiss as once again, Mimi Jean Pamfiloff proves that even justice isn’t blind to love, the best medicine of all! Characters to love, hate and sneer at, scenes to “pant” over and page after page to devour, almost as delicious as those famous love cookies!!

I received an ARC edition from Mimi Jean Pamfiloff in exchange for my honest review.

Hero (Colton): 35yrs old?
Plot: 2/5
Grovel: none
Cheating: none
HEA: yes but no epilogue

Average score: 2/5

Best Line: “Sarah was the kind of person who rarely made mistakes” – this was the best line because it was so wrong – Sarah made so many mistakes that she turned into a mindless, lust-driven bimbo

Worst Line: “And I blew it all on a hot pair of leather pants.”

Personal Review:
A disappointing part of the series about a stupid judge and a ‘rockstar’ who has memory problems. Throw in some random drama and you have yourself a trainwreck of a love story.

Random Ramblings
•Just for my own pleasure, I am going to pretend that the H does not have long hair cos …

•I was looking forward to Sarah’s story because I love a strong heroine but her flustered behaviour in a professional setting with Colton made me feel sorry for her which was disappointing
•Lost all respect for Sarah when she went along with the blackmail. You are a fucking JUDGE!!
•At chapter 7 and I am trying so hard not to DNF but the H seems interesting as he appears to have some sort of memory problem
•There were more assholes in this story than the previous ones
•So much drama
•Luci is a horrible woman who claims to help people but all she does is mess with people’s emotions
•Done with this author now

Overall Feeling:

What a disaster of a story
I think I had too high of expectations with Sarah – she was thoroughly disappointing

I fell in love with Ms. Pamfiloff's style in the first book of this series and I can honestly say she didn't disappoint with this second installment.

I'll admit, when Colt and Sarah hooked up at the very beginning, I had my doubts. You know, I need to feel that connection between my hero and heroine, and not just a sexual one. But then it all turned so very interesting. You may expect LOL-rom-com, but I gotta tell you, this book is so much more. After a few chapters, it turns into something way deeper, with a little suspense and unexpected twists and turns, it's more than light-hearted comedy. The witty banter and funny inner monologues are still there and the wonderful side characters help with the entertainment. I'm still chuckling about Taylor and Bennett's 'fake' dirty talk while Sarah was unconscious.

Colt is a sweetheart, I loved how down to earth he was. I also appreciated Sarah's steel of balls, until she thought she was going down and started acting like an immature teenager bimbo. That's not the badass heroine I liked. That and the fact that noone can top Bennett fucking Wade earn 4+ stars from me!

Leather Pants is a fantastic rom-com written in the inimitable style of the wonderful Ms Pamfiloff. I had a stomach ache reading this book because I was laughing so hard. There are some wonderful authors writing in this genre and Mimi is definitely at the top of that list. This is the third book I've read of hers and she is an expert at penning uproariously funny stories with witty banter and plenty of hysterical scenes. My husband pretty much hates it when I read one of her books because I can't hold a proper conversation with him while I'm reading it - I'm snorting with laughter the entire time.

Judge Alma is quite prim and proper until she crosses paths with rocker Colt Young. It was actually quite poetic that both of them were almost the opposite of how they appeared and I wondered if they would be able to find a happy medium that would work for them as a couple.

Initially, I struggled to find Colt sexy because the long-haired leather pant wearing visual just wasn't doing it for me, and it was a bit too cliche. However, his personality totally won me over and I just pictured him completely differently in my head and it worked! I could kind-of relate to Judge Alma, in a way, and I loved seeing her throw caution to the wind and just going with her gut, although she did end up in a world full of trouble.

The chemistry was electric between our couple even if I did wish there were more sexy times.

Mimi has a fascinating mind and I'm always impressed with the creative aspects of her world building, character and plot development. I loved the idea of the Happy Pants Cafe and Luci was a howl. I also enjoyed the other secondary characters and they were decently developed too.

The writing and pacing are bang on and it was a thoroughly entertaining read. Highly recommended. Go check it out.

As an aside, I haven't read the first book although I have it on my kindle but you can completely read this as a standalone and not miss a thing.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC as supplied by the author's assistant. All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Leigh's review:

What amazes me about Mimi as an author is her ability to write so many different series, all with a different feel, and yet still retain that quality which makes her books so clearly identifiable as hers. She writes of darkly evil kings. She writes of bat-shit crazy gods and goddesses. She writes of sweet romances with a touch of magic. And they all have her signature stamp on them that makes them irresistible.

Leather Pants undeniably falls in to the fun and magical romance category, and it is an adorable ride. Judge Sarah Alma is quirky and I could completely sympathize with her. She always had to be the good girl and do what was expected of her, but her world is rocked when singer Colton Young appears in her courtroom. From her Freudian slips to her wandering mind, she is distracted and adorable and I loved her for the drooling fangirl she really was beneath her judicial robes.

Colt, like all of her heroes, was cocky and severely flawed. On the surface he came off as a jerk but beneath that exterior there was a funny and sincere guy. Who looked spectacular in leather. Even if did write inappropriate songs about what Sarah wore beneath her robes.

I loved this story and I love this series. It is such a hilarious, lighthearted departure from the dark paranormal that I typically identify with Mimi, but at the same time it is written with her own unique storytelling that winds around me and makes me crave more.

Fans of Taylor and Bennett Wade (Tailored For Trouble) will enjoy seeing them again as Sarah’s best friends, and getting more of Ms. Luci and her famous and magical Happy Pants cookies is always a delicious treat. Like always when I am done with one of her books, I am in love with her characters, satisfied by the story that was told, and yet still hungry for more. I can’t wait to find out what happens in the next project the Happy Pants Café takes on!

I am in LOVE with rockstar Colton Young, our leather-pants clad hero of Mimi Jean Pamfiloff's newest installment of the Happy Pants series, Leather Pants.
Judge Sarah Rae Alma aka "The Hammer" HATES bad boys with a passion and she especially hates Colt for turning her from a razor sharp, intelligent woman to a stuttering dope the tabloid press likes to call "Judge Alma-drool" "Judge All-buttered-up" and "Judge All-but-spread-her-legs". So when Colt ends up in her courtroom again, Sarah is ready to show him no mercy til she finds herself the victim of a blackmail plot by none other than her own boss! After his sentencing, a nervous Sarah visits with Colt to make sure he's doing his community service (keeping them BOTH out of trouble) and discovers there is more then what meets the eye and something isn't quite right with the rockstar. Can Sarah find out what's wrong with Colt and save him? Heck, can she even save herself when all the chips fall?

As usual Mimi has another great story here. I loved how Sarah & Colton came together. I also like she showed how Colton loved his music and that when he went to parties that was "work" and there was another side to him. It makes me think about other celebrities and how they are just people putting on an act, but that hopefully they are just down to earth people like Mimi and I. I have really enjoyed all of Mimi's books and look forward to Skinny Pants❤️

Loved Colton and Sarah! Sarah is a judge who lusts after Colt, the rock star in leather pants, who comes into her court for the second time. Ms. Luci gives her one of her cookies for her birthday and five minutes later she is having sex in the bathroom of the bar with Colt. Can she avoid serving prison time when she is blackmailed by another judge? Or will Colt save her?

Leather Pants (Happy Pants 2) Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

### 5++ Hashtags ###

Wow Mimi has penned yet another amazing addition to this series, this one kept me captivated and on the edge of my seat throughout.

I rarely find a really funny read. For a book to make me actually laugh hard through the writing is a big achievement and this one certainly nailed it ...I absolutely loved the humour, there were so many seriously funny laugh out loud and even snorting moments - I really wish I could quote them, but I'm not spoiling this one for anyone! If I could give this one more stars I most definitely would.

Sarah is one badass Judge who refuses to let her hair down, and Colt is a bad boy rockstar who is once again, up on trial in her court. However things aren't always what they seem ....especially when Luci and those special cookies are involved !

This author never ceases to amaze me with her truly fascinating imagination. I love how reading something so outside of my usual genre can have me completely addicted and needing so much more.

Woo hoo.
Another great read from the amazing Mimi!
Thank you for allowing me to read an ARC of this, the latest book in the Happy Pants series.
description
This, although it contains Mimi's normal humor, has a slightly more serious side to it due to the character's circumstances. Sarah is a high court judge, and the sexy man of her dreams in her courthouse is Colt, the bad boy of rock and roll. Surely these two can't make a life together, they are worlds apart.
Trouble is Ms Luci and her cookies get involved and things are out of Sarah's and Colt's hands and now in the crumbs of the cookies spilled on Sarah's boobs!
Our couple are great together, even though poor Sarah spends a lot of time fighting the cookie love, it's pretty much pointless....we all know that!
There are a few twists in the plot with this one, but there is always someone there to sort it out. As much as it seems crazy for the Judge and the criminal (I use the word lightly) to get it on the cookies rule and we get a much deserved HEA.
I'm so glad that Jack is next up to get his HEA. If anyone needs cookies it's that man!

Once again an easy lighthearted read that will give you some giggles on the way to happiness.

With a title like Leather Pants, how can you go wrong? You can’t! Mimi Jean Pamfiloff’s latest release has it all. It’s sassy and funny, it’s serious and digs deep, and last but not least, it has the happily ever after resolution I crave. Oh, and did I mention it has a rock star who rocks the leather pants? Of course it does.

The second book in the Happy Pants Café series features the Honorable Sarah Rae Alma and mega rocker and hottie extraordinaire, Colton Young. From the start, this couple is doomed. Because this is not Colton Young’s first rodeo with the law, and it was Sarah who presided over his case. Just Sarah’s luck, with such a high-profile case, the media captured every Freudian slip from Sarah's lips. Normally she’s cool as a cat. But around Colton? The man is pure sex and hotness abounds.

Sarah gulped. God save me. Because this man...this man...He’s too sinful for words. Not that she was into him. She hated bad boys. They were smug and all talk until it came time for sentencing...

But Colton Young could make her squirm merely by subjecting her to his hotness. Did he have superpowers?

When it comes to influencing the honorable judge? All signs point to an abundance of superpowers. And once again—in her courtroom—Sarah is unable to form coherent sentences that don’t involve Colton’s sexy fabulousness.

She looked up and met Colton’s steely gaze. Her heartbeat went into hummingbird mode.

“Mist-Mister Colton.” Sarah cleared her throat, her eyes still locked with his. “You may proceed with your leather pants—I mean argument! The opening arguments.”

Indecipherable speech is just the tip of the iceberg for Sarah. When she heads to a club for her thirty-fourth birthday, she’s ambushed by her best friend Taylor and forced to consume her birthday present—a cookie from the Happy Pants Café. Word on the street is if one eats the cookie in full, true love will be found within seven days. Not only is Sarah forced to eat the cookie, she runs into none other than Mr. Leather Pants himself, Colton Young.

“Oh crap!” Colton Young! She gasped and yanked back her hands.

Colton’s eyes washed up and down her body, drinking her in, before his gaze settled on her face. He didn’t speak.

...Still her traitorous body tingled all over. I’m tellin’ ya, he has superpowers. Why else would she be thinking about how she wanted every inch of his bad-boy body?

I'm a huge fan of Pamfiloff, and this book was everything I love about her writing. She took a simple concept, looking beneath the surface of a person, and turned it into a mesmerizing story full of drama, intrigue and of course love. I'm always invested in her stories, but this was the first time I felt a personal connection to one of them.

Pamfiloff writes about Colt Young, hot rock star who is constantly in trouble. He lands in front of Judge Sarah Alma for the second time. Sarah can't seem to hold it together because she has a huge crush on him. They run into each other after his first court appearance, and sparks fly. It's then that we as the reader realize that there is more to Colt than meets the eye. I Don't normally post any spoilers, but I feel like I must this time to a certain extent. Because this story has an element that hit me hard and very personally. I will try not to give up too much.

################################################=
SPOILER:

So it's discovered that Colt has a traumatic brain injury from an accident, and doesn't have much of a short term memory. He writes in his notebook in an effort to try to remember things. He isn't able to reconcile Sarah the Judge with Sarah the woman he is attracted to. I was completely amazed at the detail and love that was put into this character. My sister has a traumatic brain injury from a drunk driver that hit her while she walked across the road. I don't know if Pamfiloff did research, but the details about Colt were spot on. My sister also has poor short term memory and also writes notes to herself to remember. Colt has panic attacks. My sister also has panic attacks. The nature of brain injury is that no two injuries are alike. Everyone is different and everyone deals differently. And some parts of a brain injury are psychological. Colt tries to hold onto what he loves: music. Pamfiloff does what my sister does with her family every day. Makes us wonder what it would be like to not have your memories. We as humans are made up of our memories. My sister now does public speaking and is a member of a coalition for Brain Injury that works directly with the governor. But it was her stamina and personality that helped her get through rehab and become the person she is today. Just like Colt, she found people who helped to shape the new him. People who were willing to see her for more than what they saw on the outside. So this is why this story was personal to me.

Don't get me wrong. The tone is still all Pamfiloff, light and breezy with love as the ultimate goal, even after a scary event happens. It's not all doom and gloom. And the end is wonderful, as we get a glimpse of what's to come in the following books.

Mimi does it again!!!
Judge Alma's reaction to Colt in her court room is hilarious. She can't seem to help but put her foot in her mouth over and over.
It's sad how Colt can't remember Sarah after their club encounter but he's pretty rude when she confronts him about it. She never really seems to react to the cruel notes he makes about her in his notebook, either.
Something crazy happens halfway through the book and I couldn't help wonder what could possibly happen next! But, Mimi doesn't disappoint with keeping the story rolling!
I'm excited for the next installment!! 5 stars, of course!

ARC REVIEW T

This book is proof that Mimi Jean Pamifiloff can write her interpretation of the phonebook and make it entertaining. I don't usually enjoy reading Rock Star romance tropes but once again Mimi Jean has make something I don't usually enjoy it into an enjoyable read. Her style of writing is always so full of humor and romance that it makes the angst more palatable, for me atleast to much angst and it depresses the fuck out me. But Mimi doesn't do that she has perfectly balanced books.

Colt Young is very drool worthy. He comes off as an arrogant bastard (like most of her other heroes) but always (like the others) shows another side that makes him so swoon worthy and makes him so much more than he seems. Sarah is head strong and focused on her career aptly nicknamed The Hammer; as a judge she is fully dedicated to serving justice when it needs. That is until bad boy heartthrob rock star Colt Young steps foot into her courtroom with his tattooed arms, his devil may care attitude, and leather pants....leather pants that Sarah can not stop looking at!

Colt and Sarah are forced into a situation that is beyond their control and in the process they come to care for each other very much. They learn about each other and fall in love with the person that they hide from the public eye. Throw in Mrs. Lucia and her magic Happy Pants cookie and it's a wonderful whatever can go wrong will go wrong story. Overall, it's almost as good as the original story. You can practically laugh your way through this book.

I have a read a lot books in my time but it's very few where a character or characters stick with me. Ok maybe relate to easily as well.

Sarah Alma and Colton Young are absolutely, complete opposites. She's the responsible, straight and narrow type of girl, ok Judge(for real judge with gavel and the big black mumu). Colt is the bad boy in hot sexy leather pants that make me wonder if there's any triple stitching involved.....(evil woman Mimi Jean
). Anywho fate that marvelous mysterious bitch is good. I mean wouldn't u turn into a blubbering idiot who can't staring at those sexy as sin leather pants that seem to be painted on a man like Colton. What was I saying...... oh yeah Mimi Jean weaved a tantalizing tale with this book. Mixing absolute devilish, witty banter, the inner workings of slightly obsessed woman who can't seem to function right when that man is around and me feeling all those emotions that this Author Goddess created.

I'm in love with this book. Thank u Mimi for giving me another contender for favorites.

Those cookies...LOL

I loved Colt and Sarah's story...this series always makes me feel so good as I turn the last page.
The characters are funny and real and you can't help but feel anxious as the events that bring them together unfold. There were a few in this one that really caught me by surprise, what a delight, I absolutely love it when you can't predict what will happen next!

This book takes you on a wild ride that starts in court and ends in a limo (and a lot of laughs and angst in between). This is the second book in the "Happy Pants Cafe" series. It can be read as a standalone; however, I recommend you also read the first book too.

Love has been elusive for Sarah. Colton, the residents rockstar in this book, is jaded and finds it hard to trust others. Can two people who don't play well with others find love? The only flaw that I can see in this book is why don't cookies come with the book?

This book is fun. Be warned don't read while drinking in public. Nobody wants to see liquids come out your nose.

I thoroughly loved reading the fabulous and fantastic 2nd book in Happy Pants series by the extraordinarily talented Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reading copy.
Judge Sarah Alma cannot take her eyes off of the incredible, sexy Colton in leather pants whenever he walks into her courtroom. When Sarah dresses up in a killer red dress and sees Colton, Sarah spends
an unforgettable time with Colton in the bathroom.
Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, engaging and captivating story line, and a must read love story of Sarah and Colton.

Leather pants that leave nothing to the imagination. Hazel eyes that see right through you. Handsome features that generate a charisma to the female gender none can escape. Yes, that is Colton Young, rock star extraordinaire! And now he is in trouble with the Law once again.

So, what does a judge wear under that black robe???? Sarah's nightmare is that one day she will walk into Court and people will notice she is completely naked under her robe. The Hammer's reputation would be positively ruined if that were to happen. After all, she was the toughest judge in her circuit. But now, as she faces her next victim in court, it is none other than the man who turns her insides into butterflies and her brain to liquid mush. Little does she know, her life will forever be changed after this encounter.

If you loved FUGLY you will adore this book! I felt every line of this story as if it were me living it. I cried, laughed, and cheered as Colton and Sarah worked their way through blackmail, treachery, drunken singing, and more... Ms. Luci's cookies are at it again! We can blame the cookies, but these two characters were meant for each other. Wish I could get her recipe!

I am voluntarily reviewing this book because I simply loved it! Thank you to the author for gifting me a copy!

Everyone needs happy (leather) pants and bring the cookies! This book has 2 levels for folks that enjoy both light reading and occasional reflection (nothing that will make your brain overheat though). Leather Pants is a quick fun read full of well developed characters and great elements like a rumored magic cookie that helps you find your true love and delicious romantic and sexual tension.

There is also a bit deeper introspective angle where polar opposites attract, good girl vs bad boy, you can connect with Judge Alma’s need to overcome her past and be a strong but fair defender of justice as well as Colton’s battle with his past/present/future and his work and personal personas. Either way you look at it, it is a fantastic book that can be read as a standalone or again if you want more back story on the characters and past plot, the previous Happy Pants books flesh out the secondary characters and their stories. Loved it and I’m looking forward to the next pair of happy pants ;)

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book.

Highly Entertaining, Emotional Roller-Coaster, Fun Filled, Laugh Out Load, Opposites Attract Romance. This Romantic Comedy Adventure has it all, Heart of gold bad boy, Stick in the Mud Good Girl, Mentally unstable Villains, and a whole crew of crazy fun loving supportive friends. What more could a reader want for a fun Saturday Night right.

Sarah has forgotten what fun really is and Colt has a deep need for her calming presence. They complete each other in ways that are so real and emotional you can't help but root for a happy ending. Let the cookies fall where they may, I can't wait for the next Happy Pants Cafe adventure.

Mimi Jean never ceases to amaze me with the story lines that she comes up with! Leather pants is a great read not only will it make you laugh in the usual Mimi fashion but it will also make you tear up in places. Sara and Colt are made each other even if Sara doesn't want to admit it. He's a rock star with the typical bad boy image. She's an uptight judge who doesn't know how to let lose. Can this judge show this bad boy that there's more to life than fame and fortune? Can this bad boy show this uptight Judge how to let lose and enjoy life. Well of course!
However Cole Young is not your ordinary bad boy he has a sweet side that Sara see's from the start and Sara has a wild side that just wants out and Cole helps her do it. Mimi Jean keeps these books coming and keep the love alive for us all!

**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

Mimi Jean fast became a one-click author for me. She has a way of writing fun loving witty stories that have you laughing and glad that the two characters get together and always have a happy ever after.

This is the second book in the series and can be read as a stand-a-lone book, however, just because they are so fab, i would recommend that you read them all.

Sarah Rae Alma is a Judge who is out in an awkward position and Colt Young makes her all twisted up and not quite her professional self.

Its Colts notebook however that is the game changer and from then on Sarah does everything she can to help Colt and she can't help getting more and more involved with the man who seems quite determined to be as close to her as he can.

It's a panty melting, heart warming story that you just can't help turning page after page.

Colton likes to follow rules at times, well basically his rule, “I wrote a song for you. And by musician law, that makes you my property.” Colt has an ego, “besides, I would never name my p***s anything that included the word little. That would be misleading.” This book was filled with so much humor, that it was a good time to read.
