Dirty Professor

Rate this book
He wanted to do dirty things to me. But it didn’t stop there. He wanted to teach me to do dirty things to him. He wanted to teach me how to take a spanking, how to take him in my mouth, how to stay quiet while I was bent over his desk. He was my professor, so of course I knew it was wrong. He had a reputation for breaking hearts and leaving destruction in his wake. But I couldn’t resist his demands, his blue eyes, his strong hands roaming my body. He was too brilliant, too sexy, too demanding. He was the reason I transferred to Noland, the reason I wanted to be a writer. And now he’s the reason I’m about to lose everything. He kisses me again and this time his tongue pushes past my lips, parting them. My body responds to his, and I’m suddenly pliant in his arms, his tongue tangling with mine as his hands move to my hair. He pulls back and looks at me, not asking permission but giving a half smile, like he knows he’s going to get what he wants. And then he’s kissing me again, our kiss becoming deeper and more passionate, my head spinning with the intensity of it. His hand travels across my back, and around my ribcage. When I feel his fingertips brush across the front of my sweater, I have to fight to hold in the way I want to react. “I can’t do this,” I say. “It’s not… I mean, I don’t…” “You can do anything,” he whispers. “Anything you want.” He kisses my neck. His lips are warm and I shiver. “Sometimes it feels good to be bad, Addison.”

2.5 'I'm feeling slightly nauseous from the whiplash' stars

Chase is a well-known author holding some classes at Addison's school, they first meet when she trips and ends up covered in her own lunch. Shortly after that, they have a meeting to discuss whether she gets a place in his writing class. After she fails to get him to take her on she's surprised when he calls her later that night and asks her to come to his house (this all happened by the 10% mark).

From that point, everything in this book is rushed past at warp speed. He asks about her first time, she admits she's a virgin, he plows through her hymen and they start having sex until they get caught.

And while Addison wasn't stupid or especially annoying, she was too easy with Chase. She literally would have licked his shoes if he told her to.

Chase was an arsehole who had the potential to be turned into a more loveable version of himself if the author had fleshed this out a bit more.

This follows the typical student/teacher storyline but it lacks any depth or character development. If you like this theme just for the forbidden sex you'll probably enjoy this. If you expect anything past that you'll most likely be disappointed

The sex was mildly hot, so that helped get the rating past a 2. But everything was resolved with a blink of the eye and finished at 43%, which is bloody annoying

A little better than the previous book in the same genre that I read by Ms. North. This one felt very rushed, but did have a nice epilogue.

3 1/2 or 4 I don't know.

I am torn... I really liked it then wham!!!! everything was solved in one chapter. It could have been so much deeper. Every issue that they could have was skated over like no big deal. I wanted to know why Luna did what she did and what were her ramifications. The whole parent thing was like over in part of a chapter. Chase's fallout the same over like a snap of my fingers.

Addison just fell into things and her writing went from just ok to fantastic in like 5 chapters. She really didn't have to work hard.

The whole thing was like kinda to good to be true.

Chase is hot but very selfish. He calls she comes.. literally. He was a huge user at first. Didn’t really like him that much. Addison forgave him so easily too. YUK should have made him sweat it out she had everything going for her and she should have focused on herself. Oh well...

It was HOT don't get me wrong that part was good, but it could have been so much more. I am a tad disappointed. it needed something... more I guess.

Hmm. So this was okay. I felt like things went from zero to sixty in an instant and that there was just no real time to develop the story before these two ended up in bed. Now this can sometimes work, but the sexy times weren’t off the charts – which kept this read at a two star.

I hope that with this student-teacher romance, that a bit of the forbidden and the angst of the situation would really allow the story to be shaped, but it just fell flat and lacked any depth to make me feel anything major for the characters or what came of them.

I figured with the professor-student theme, this would be a good read. Not so much. The writing is rushed, the female lead is basically a doormat (even though the authors tries to have you believe that she isn't), the male lead is a jerk. The writing is rushed.

I didn't really care for the characters or story line, the H was not likeable at all, I had to skim to finish it towards the end.

The story is what you'd expect. But what i didn't expect was all the typos. Can we say editor.....

So the characters were not particularly annoying or anything and I like that the heroine grew a backbone. So the story was short and simple with some good steamy scenes. Not sure I need more from this author if she doesn't get an editor/proofreader.

A short story about a start of a steamy affair that later turns into a lot more.

This was ok. Everything went at a very quick pace. Famous author of a James Bond type character is teaching for a semester at a college so he can have time to work on his latest novel without life and fame bothering him. Enter the cute college girl who wants to be a writer and manages to get into his class. Cue the sexual high jinks. Cue the falling in lust and then in love. Cue the fall out when everyone finds out...

Everything felt predictable and fake. So I guess it was kinda hot, but I didn't enjoy the story so much, so I couldn't love it. I wasn't a fan of the main character, Chase. The girl, Madison was ok. She was transitioning into an adult, and was struggling with her life. She felt more real.

By the time you get to the end, with its completely unrealistic turn of events, I just didn't care any more. The book feels formulaic and rushed. So it's ok to read, but its not one I will ever read again.

I really enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down once I started reading it. It was a hot sexy read from start to finish. Addison is a good girl who always does what is expected of her by her family. She wants to be a writer but her parents would never accept that. She decides to try and have the best of both worlds and enrolls at a university where her favorite author is a professor. She can get her business degree and hopefully take his writing class. Chase has to write another book to his very successful series but he just isn't enjoying it anymore. He decides to get away from his hectic life in New York and LA and takes a position at a university where he hopes to be able to continue with his writing. Once Addison & Chase come face to face, neither of them can control what happens next. A must read with a HEA ending that will surprise you. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review and originally posted this in another website on July 30, 2016.

I'm sure I reviewed this.. Mobile GR isn't reliable mixed with my chrome browser on my phone having issues...

This book creeped me out a little. I found it hard to read this. I'm not really sure this is a erotica novel I could say I'm for...

3* for the first half. 1* for the last half as hero got annoying and I was mentally screaming at him to be more "caveman" and "to hell with the rules".

I'm not into grovelling scenes but I thought this book could have done with a proper grovel scene.

Well-written

And characters you care about. Compelling story; naughty, smart and sweet, all the same time. This is definitely fun, intelligent erotica. Want more from this author!

Very enjoyable, and hot as hell! I liked the way they came together, and the end was very satisfying, even if they had to get past the craziness first.

I genuinely liked this book, it was fun and flirty and made me laugh sometimes and of course it had amazing sexy scenes in it. I liked Chase's character a lot, he had some different dynamics to offer at times and you couldn't help but swoon over him. I liked Addison as well, she's your sweet super innocent girl who just dives in head first once she gets a taste of her super hot professor, and who could blame her really? It's all very fast paced, they are immediately trying not to claw each other clothes off at all hours of the day and there is so much sex (not even mad, just saying) This book is graced with a second book of the authors, called Panty Dropper, so Dirty Professor only goes to about a little less than 50%.

My only concern with this book is that it spent so much time on the first part of their relationship, but when it got to the real issues at hand in the book, i.e. Addison's super controlling parents, the taboo of a professor sleeping with a student, how they got caught, the breakup/apology, just everything that seemed so important got like the last 10% of the book. And I felt like I needed more from the ending. But, it is a good read, it was fast and lighthearted most of the time and had some good sexy times in it. I also read Panty Dropper and liked it so I'm glad I bought it and will probably read more from the author to see what else she's go to offer.

I received this book from another author for an honest review.

What a hot and sweet, dirty treat. Chase is so freaking SEXY and HOT! I enjoyed reading this story because it was full of emotional angst, scorching love scenes, a compelling storyline, and this book was well written by Paige North. Addison is a college student who wants to be a writer, but her parents decided she should get a degree in business to be ready for the “real world.” Addison has always done what her parents wanted her to do instead of what she wants to do. Addison has an opportunity to take a class at her school by THE best-selling author, Chase Brooks. Chase is the tall, handsome, and sexy writer. Addison finds herself quite attracted to Chase and the feeling is mutual with some sizzling chemistry, but there is some chaos which causes some tumultuous scenes. And some exhilarating excitement adds spice to the story. Will Addison finally be able to cut the cord from her parents and be independent? Will Chase and Addison’s attraction to each other cause friction in the writing class with her classmates? You will enjoy reading this book, and you will not be disappointed because this book will pique your interest.

Addison wants to get into a special writing class with author Chase Brooks. He is attracted to her but knows he should not get involved with her. He remembers their unusual meeting and cannot get her out of his mind and invites her to his home with samples of her writing. Both allow their attraction out.

I liked this story. I liked how Chase was not easy on Addison. She learned to stand up to him and others, especially her family. Their sex is hot! Chase was what Addison needed. She needed to break out of her shell and does with him.

There is a bonus book with this story called Panty Dropper. Sophie Scott has gotten her first magazine job since graduation. Her first story to get the dirt on studio head Leo Armstrong, nickname the Panty Dropper. She goes undercover but what she learns will not sell magazines so her editor takes matters into her own hands.

I liked Sophie and Leo. They make a good couple and both learn from each other. I hated the editor Kait. She is a hiss-worthy villainess. The story kept me involved. I loved the ending. It fit the story well.

I look forward to more books from Paige North.

I just 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 finding hidden gems. Just 614 ratings, really, Goodreads?

Meet Addison - she's 21, trying to please her parents by majoring in business (which she absolutely hates), when all she wants is to be an author.

Chase is a well known-author turned billionaire. Having gotten enough flashes in his face, he takes a job as a Professor in a college to work on his next novel.

Sparks fly when Addison applies for his class.

𝘋𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘺 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘳 is a quick, enjoyable read. I know some readers might find it too fast-paced, but it liked it because I was looking for something quick and without too much depth or drama. Most of the reviewers liked the first part more than the second, but I liked the latter more.

The book surely has its flows, but overall it's a good enough book to read if you want something light to read between other reads.

This book, I was torn. I loved this book. The romance, the connection between Chase and Addison, the start of their relationship, up until the point where the story starts to conclude. So Good! But then the ending, happened way too fast and was a little unrealistic. It didn't have to end that way to be a satisfying ending.

Dirty Professor is a short, sexy story that ends at 45% on my Kindle. This purchase also includes Panty Dropper, another short story by this author. I have not read the second story.

Addison is a beautiful college student with a major crush on Chase Brooks, a handsome, successful publisher who will be teaching a class at her college. The attraction between Addison and Chase is instant and they waste NO time getting to know one another. Addison's innocence is quickly forgotten and Chase struggles with not developing feelings for her.

I liked Addison's character well enough, although I thought she lacked back bone, both with Chase and her parents. I also liked Chase's character; however I felt he took advantage a little of the situation and pushed too quickly. It was all fast wam bam, mix up, short pitiful apology and panties flying. I would have had Chase on his knees groveling. But you get the happy ending so all was good.
