A sexy cop, a finger-pistol bandit, two people hell-bent on destroying each other, an unfortunate incident involving wax, a mobile dating app and two meddling friends all form part of this delightfully hilarious read which answers the age old question: How thin is that line between love and hate exactly?
They say that the road to hell is paved with the best of intentions, but where does the road of bad intentions lead? After reading this novel, I’m convinced it leads to a place that kills you through laughter. The banter between these characters, watching them trying to one-up the other and the seeing the attraction between them play out was an absolute treat!
I snortled my way through this book and my feet started cramping from my toes curling over I enjoyment. Sure, I wanted to throttle these characters at times. But mostly Maverick. And mostly with my vagina. While these two tended to bring out the worst in each other, they brought out the best… and sexiest parts of each other too.
Strong Hate is littered with sweet moments when their true feelings slip from Lundy and Mav’s stubborn exteriors. The supporting characters nearly steal the show with their ridiculous plots to keep these two from killing each other, and to finally get together. I wish I had friends like these! These characters and penchant for the ridiculous seemed all too realistic but were ultimately endearing.
All in all Strong Hate is a laugh a minute, fast paced and highly entertaining read, It’s one of those books you can lose yourself in and caught up in the drama of others. It leaves you with a goofy smile on your face and a happy feeling in your hart. Absolutely recommended!

I almost peed multiple times!
This was my first book by R.D. Berg & Ashley Christin and fucking hell I loved every second of this book. This book was the perfect Love-Hate story with a ton of comedy.
Maverick and Lundyn can't stand each other. They hate the fact that they want each other and fight tooth and nail to deny those feelings. When Lundyn returns home what ensues is hilarious banter back and forth and pranks. Their very first encounter when Lundyn comes home immediately had me laughing so hard my sides fucking hurt.
I couldn't get enough of this book. They pissed each other off so much and yet their chemistry was on fire. I was in anticipation wanting to see whether they would just get it on already.
The secondary characters in this book were equally as addicting. We meet Maverick's sister/Lundyn's best friend - Harlow and Mavericks best friend - Finn. These two were absolutely hilarious in this book. When Harlow & Finn stage a lover-vention for Mav & Lundyn, I fucking DIED !!!!!!!!!!
This book was over the top outrageous but that is what made this book absolutely fantastic.
It has a great HEA that will have you smiling from ear to ear and an ending that will leave your mouth hanging open saying FUCK I NEED THE NEXT BOOK RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I read this last week and just keep thinking about it! It was so fun! Rom-com at its finest! The parts where the cops were on their radios and quoting the 'Jake from the State Farm' commercials and Mean Girls movie had me rolling I was laughing so hard! And now I need more, chanting for Harlow and Finn's book next!!

4.5 Strong Hate was freaking HILARIOUS stars!
Lundyn is heading back to a town that she ran away from a year ago. She's headed back to a couple of great friends and the one who broke her heart. She's hoping to figure out her path and stay the hell away from Maverick Strong.
Maverick let the girl he loved get away from him, because he didn't know what the heck he felt about her. Now she's back in town and he doesn't know whether to throttle her or kiss her.
This is a classic story of love-hate and all stemming from a misunderstanding! I really liked the dynamic between Lundyn and Maverick and even though some moments were OTT they still really worked well for this story. They prank each other, their banter is HILARIOUS, and their sexual tension is off the charts!
There are also a few side characters that I really enjoyed, Harlow, Lundyn's bestie and Mav's sister. Finn, Mavericks best friend. They have their own stuff going on and it's pretty great getting tid-bits of that!
The naughty bits are pretty tame, so if you're looking for super smut, this isn't it. I felt they worked with the story though, because it felt true to the romcom feel!
The authors did an amazing job making these characters feel like friends that you know in real life. Their banter feels like conversations anyone could have. Their good times are relatable and down to earth.
All in all this is a great romantic comedy with a HFN ending :)

This is the first time I have read a book by R.D Burg, I have read Ashley Chrisitn and loved her previous work so i was excited for this one.
Lundyn and Maverick have known each other since they were children and have always had a tumultuous relationship at best. They find new ways to get under each others skin as much as humanly possible. I didnt feel a connection with the two characters if I’m being honest.
There was such an emphasis put on the two main characters hating each other but we didn't ever really get a real reason why they hated each other. It was all very childish in that way where the boy hits the girl because he likes her.
I struggled a few times when I was reading this book, I was expecting this laugh out loud hilarious book but I felt like it just didn’t quite measure up to my expectations.
What I found hilarious though were Harlow and Finn, their banter with each other was what kept me entertained through this story and I cant wait to read their book.

I absolutely loved this book. Strong Hate is an hilarious romance that has lovable characters, hot sex and an addictive story line.
“Do you know how much ammo this finger holds? You should’ve confiscated it when you had the chance, but then again, you’ve never been good at taking anything of mine.”
It ticked all my boxes. I needed a good laugh and this one definitely delivered!
I was laughing out loud at 2am in the morning, reading this book was like watching an episode of friends! It was like having my own giggle party! You can feel the attraction, the electricity between Lundyn and Maverick. Their arguments are so heated so full of passion that you just want them to yield to the temptation!
“First,we are sour patch kids, just like the package says. First, they're sour, then they’re sweet.”
It was a blast to read and I’m desperate to know what happens in book two!

These are my Happily Ever After Novel Thoughts...
O.M.B.H.!!!! I need there to be another story!! Please, please, please tell me we will be getting a follow up story!!
This book is hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing, well I take that back. When I wasn't frustrated with Maverick and Lundyn, I was laughing.
While reading this story, I experienced several mood changes; happy, frustrated, excited, and flabbergasted. I was also surprised to see that it is a setup cliffhanger.
As integral side characters, Lundyn's best friend, Harlowe, and Maverick's best friend, Finn, need to have their own stories told. They have a lot more going on in their lives than what we've seen. I know they would be just as interesting.
A must read if you want a great Rom-Com with a possible Happily Ever After.

Maverick and Lundyn hated each since childhood, their story was full of pranks and when they did, they are committed, trust me. Infuriating each other is their thing. Getting the best idea to piss each other, no matter sometimes the consequences.
When Lundyn is coming back to town, all bets are on! This wild and sassy woman is up for the challenge : to make Maverick’s life impossible. She is a little crazy and spontaneous, and trying her best to hide and fight her attraction for him.
Maverick The sexy cop. Utterly smitten by Lundyn, even if it shows by hateful banter, he couldn’t hide it well. Just hitting her buttons, knowing what makes her tick is too tempting, he couldn't stop himself. He was really good at it. This big kid, caring and of course too handsome for his own good was a character I enjoyed to meet. Cocky at times for sure, sweet and determined.
Their journey was a firework. Everyone was obvious to the oblivious, knowing that they loved each other but didn't know how to express themselves without trying to “kill” each other. I felt the sexual tension vibes in here and how they finally get together was priceless, I couldn't tell which one was the craziest but they just made an amazing couple.
RD Berg and Ashley Christin are a great writing duet, the main characters are very interesting, colorful, and the other ones? They are priceless too! They really found a great balance, with this hilarious romantic comedy, mixed with humor, great banter between all the characters, a good storyline and also a hint of sweetness and hot scenes. Heart lighted and full of good mood vibes.
Thanks guys for lighting my day! Strong Hate was a delightful entertainment.

So I was looking through my kindle trying to find a decent book to read, and as I just couldn't choose what genre to read, I decided to eenie meenie minie mo it... I am SO glad I chose strong hate!
I was honestly up until 3am reading it as I just could not put it down!
This book will give you hiccups from laughing too hard. It made me nearly pee my panties (true story).
I was not expecting this book at all, it hooked me in like a fish on a rod and did not let me go! - Not that I wanted it to as I was enjoying it so much!
Ok, In all seriousness, Lundyn is frikkin awesome, she's hilarious, feisty and over the top which makes an amazing character! I want to be her when I grow up.
Maverick... hot dayum! I think I'm in love... I need to find me a hot cop like him.
The banter is incredible, the characters are insanely brilliant and the writing skills are immense.
If you want a fun, hilarious read, then Strong Hate is definitely the book for you.

This the first book that I have read from either of these authors and I wasn't really sure what to expect. I knew I loved their online personae and they both live near me. So those things combined with the blurb instantly had me wanting to read this one.
"I know my hate used to be strong, but my love could bend steel."
This book. Hmm... where to begin. It is laugh out loud hilarious and I believe that everyone will be able to relate to either the characters or the situations they find themselves in.
The banter between Maverick and Lundyn... on freaking point! The passion they had between each was phenomenal.
"It's a thin line we're walking and on one side lust and hate mingle where as the other side could hold the promise of safety and love."
The side characters in this novel, Finn and Harlow are just as magnetic as the lead characters and by the end of the novel you are going to by DYING for more of these characters. Their stories need to be told.

I really enjoyed this book! The characters were very funny and you could tell the authors had fun writing this book. The chapter headings are hilarious. This is a book where Maverick and Lundyn hate each other on the outside, but seriously want each other on the inside. Lundyn is best friends with Maverick's sister so Maverick feels she is off limits. Lyndyn left town for a year, but now she is back. Just when I was getting tired of the hate, the love began! It was perfect! This book does not end on a cliffhanger having to do with Maverick and Lundyn, but you will definitely want the next book when this one ends, so I hope it comes out soon!

I was given an ARC of this book and I have to say I loved it!!! Lundyn and Harlow together had me laughing out loud... Maverick and Finn (Goose) in Mavs phone... are just as hilarious.... I loved this book from beginning to wtf ending lol! I wanna say more but so don't wanna give anything away... buuuttttt to break it down...
Mav and Lundyn have a love/hate relationship and Finn and Harlow are along for the ride... these 4 will have to laughing and awwwing with a few WTF moments...
I suggest you read this book cause you will be begging for more...

I absolutely loved this book. Maverick and Lundyn have known each other for a long time. She's best friends with his sister. They've always "hated" each other. I got a kick out of them. Always bickering, but knowing they cared about the other. Sometimes love is right under your nose, you just have to open your eyes and follow your heart. I fell in love with Lundyn and Maverick and honestly didn't want this story to end. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone

I got the LOOK; you know the one where people think you are "cray-cray" because you are dying laughing at the scenarios between Lundyn and Maverick in the corner of the room. Equal amount of lunacy between Harlow, Lundyn's best friend and Mav's baby sister and Finn, Mav's best friend. This is one hilarious story that is definitely a reread for me. This has got to be one of my favorites this year!!
Lundyn and Maverick have a "strong" hatred for each other or should I say LUST for each other. You can cut the attraction with a knife. Even Harlow and Finn played Cupid in the story. It is all out war and read to see who wins the battle.

This romantic comedy is laugh out loud funny, sexy hot and sweetly romantic, but most of all, it is a snarky ball of fun!
Maverick and Lundyn have a ton of chemistry, some of it not necessarily good. These two "hate" each other so much, even their friends are begging them to sleep together. There is a long history between these two, dating back to childhood. I liked that the real reason for their current feud wasn't explained away in a quick little prologue. The reason was hinted at for quite a while before things were revealed.
I loved the writing. It was easy and relevant and I really want to hang out with the authors, because I am pretty sure they are my people! There is nothing forced about this book. Everyone needs some good snark in their life and this book was full of it.
Let's talk about the characters, a little. So the heroine, Lundyn, is the queen of mean, but only to Maverick and, truthfully, he sort of deserves what he gets. Okay, she is a bitch in general, but she owns it. Maverick is a lovable douche bag. He encourages Lundyn and their feud, so really, he pretty much thrives on it as much as she does. Then we have Harper, Mav's little sister and Lundyn's bestie...see where I'm going with this, and Finn, Mav's best friend. I really hope they get a book (hint, hint, wink, wink...do you hear that my people?!) Even the insignficant side charaters are hysterical, for example, the girls' former teacher who tips $2 on a $53 haircut.
Now, lest you think I forgot, let's talk about sex...as in the hot, sexy times between Lundyn and Maverick. Holy fan yourself, people! These two were combustible before they finally did the deed, but when that magic moment finally arrived...it was like woah!

Fabulous!! OMG once you start you can't stop!!! Hands down on of the funniest books I have read this year. You are going to need tissues because there are part in the book you are laughing so hard you are crying. (Waxes and Viagra) The banter between best friends Lundyn and Harlow has no bounds. Lundyn and Maverick are one step away from WW3. Finn keeps you on your toes with him just being Finn.
Lundyn has moved back to hometown and is back to being at war with Harlow's brother Maverick. It literally starts when she is driving back into town. Strong Hate is a book I would recommend to anyone who is looking for great book to read. It is filled with friendships, hate, pranks, jokes, truth and love. This is the first book I have read from RD Berg and Ashley Christin and it won't be my last. I am looking forward to Harlow's story next. This is a HEA but leaves room to be cliffhanger with other character's story.

Fabulous!! OMG once you start you can't stop!!! Hands down on of the funniest books I have read this year. You are going to need tissues because there are part in the book you are laughing so hard you are crying. (Waxes and Viagra) The banter between best friends Lundyn and Harlow has no bounds. Lundyn and Maverick are one step away from WW3. Finn keeps you on your toes with him just being Finn.
Lundyn has moved back to hometown and is back to being at war with Harlow's brother Maverick. It literally starts when she is driving back into town. Strong Hate by RD Berg & Ashley Christin is the story of BEST Friends, Goals, Desires, Family of Choice, Childhood Crushes, Disguised Love, "Stong Hate", True Destiny and oh - I'm just describing Maverick and Lundyn.
Some of the chapter headings are: Finger Shooting, Mike Tyson'd, Love-vention, A Tale of Two Pills and Love & Enchiladas. I mean, how can you go wrong with titles like that?
You could actually describe this book two ways:
This is the story of Lundyn & Harlow who have been best friends since the first day they met when they were 7 years old. Harlow has an older brother named Maverick. Maverick is HOT!!
OR
This is the story of Maverick and Lundyn. Lundyn's best friend happens to be Maverick's little sister named Harlow.
Either way, this is a romance about a "forbidden" relationship (forbidden because Maverick thinks his little sister's BFF is off limits), about not living an authentic life because of hidden desires, a romance that is full of humor, hot cops, snap chats (I wish I could be Harlow's friend on snap chat) and true love. There is also some adultnapping, right swiping and friends until the end relationships.
This was a fun read, had the appropriate amount of sex (the authors didn't get too descriptive with it - not that there isn't any), and while it is NOT a cliffhanger - left me anxiously awaiting the next installment of this series.

Some days you just need a fun book to read. Especially when you read as many books as I do. When I was gifted Strong Hate by RD Berg and Ashley Christin I wasn’t sure what to expect. Both these authors are new to me and they didn’t fail to impress!
Both the characters in this story had that something about them that made them fun to read about. It’s such an entertaining read that has the ability to pick you up on those off days we all seem to have. It was hilarious and very addictive.
Getting your hands on this book is like watch a great comedy movie, one that you can watch over and over again and it have the same effect on you as it did the first time around.
You will fall in love with Lundyn and Maverick, I can pretty much guarantee it!
Don’t um and ah over whether to grab a copy, just do it!! You won’t be disappointed.
I loved it that much I am giving it five stars.

This is the first book I've read by Ashley Christin and RD Berg and I swear it won't be the last! I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book. I felt lots of emotions while reading this book and I laughed so much.
Maverick and Lundyn have a love hate relationship. They fight all the time and they try to out do each other but deep down the passion is sizzling but they just can't seem to get it together. That is until Harlow and Finn Mavericks best friend intervene.
I think every girl needs a best friend like Harlow and it especially helps she has a hot brother. She is a freak and I loved her as much and I loved her brother Maverick and Lundyn.
I read this book in one sitting, it was a light and really enjoyable read, it had me hooked from the first page till the very end and I CAN'T WAIT for the next one.
I'm off to one click more Ashley Christin and RD Berg books now.

This book is hilarious. It had me laughing out loud through the whole thing. With four main characters being so close, is wonderful. Lundyn and Harlow are best friends, Maverick is Harlow's brother and his best friend is Finn. I loved the story of Lundyn and Maverick. These two 'hated' each other since they were teens. This 'hate' was truly attraction and love. Harlow and Finn both brought laughter to this book. I can't wait to read what these wonderful authors come up with for their next book. RD and Ashley are a wonderful writing team. Thank you ladies for allowing me to read this for an honest review. Cant wait to see what else you come up with!!

I love me a good love/hate romance. That fine line between wanting to smack the heck out of someone and kiss them just to shut them up! I love that kind of intensity in a book and this one definitely delivers. It has some fabulous humour, some intense heat and overall it was a really good time. The back and forth between Lundyn and Maverick was all kinds of interesting. I sort of found the plot to be a little bit predictable, but it had good feels so I didn't mind at all. I was more than happy to go with the flow. I sure hope we are getting a book with Finn and Harlow's story. You sort of left me hanging ladies!

This book is the first in a new series, A Thin Line, and it left you ready for the next one! I would say that it was a small cliffhanger, but nothing to keep you from reading A Strong Hate right now. It literally just has you ready for book two. The angst and chemistry in this book was wonderful! I loved the connection that all of the characters had in this story. You could really feel the family like connection they all shared. This was a enemies to lovers romance and it had a bit of hilarity in it to make you laugh out loud. If you're looking for a fun little story, Strong Hate is the way to go!

I honestly just got so bored. There was nothing super wrong about this book, nothing that made my safety radar go off and want to rant and rage. But I didn't connect to it AT ALL. I didn't get the connection between the character, the hate or the Attraction. I don't get why it took them so long to own up to their feelings and why this is taking place in their mid twenties instead of earlier?
I just didn't care enough to finish the story, I kept getting distracted online shopping and watching free people videos so I called it quits.

I had so many laugh out loud moments reading this one. I fell in love with the writing from the very beginning. This is the first book I've read by either author and I can't wait to check out more of their work.
I loved these characters, all super fun and engaging. I really hope there is another book, I need to know all about Harlow and Finn!

I was supposed to go on a cruise to the Bahamas but hurricane Matthew came and ruined my vacation. Instead I read this book and it made my day so much better. I loved the scene with Monica. I laughed so hard I had tears running down my face. I can't wait for the next book. I need it like yesterday. Everyone needs a friendship like Lundyn's and Harlow's.

This is my first book to read by either author. It was a fun and quick read. I did find myself laughing at times, but I just never really connected with the characters. That is just me though. Other than that, it was a good book and perfect for when you just need a really good laugh.
