Rate this book
A compilation of 45 lesson plans for writing activities for use by middle school and secondary English language arts teachers. Going Bohemian activities use unconventional strategies, competitive games, art and multimedia, and indirect approaches to teaching some of the difficult lessons of writing.

Included are lesson plans that explain the objectives, materials, set-up, and procedures of each activity, and many are accompanied by student writing samples. Learn how to assume these roles in your classroom with the help of this valuable resource. Go Bohemian, and instill in your students high literacy standards, an artistic sensibility, and an unshakable belief in the power of words.

Phenomenal resource for Language Arts teachers...particularly grades 6 and up. But if you're not into pushing the envelope (like if it annoys you when a student dares to write an essay that doesn't follow the 5 and 5 rule) then you'll probably hate it.
