I can't help it- I just love these books. Ant liked to read fact books, and he ate these up. They are funny and interesting and I'm always marking pages to send to other people. I don't remember all or even most of the information, but sometimes relevent topics come up in conversation and I have something interesting to add.

The loudest insect is the African cicada- it's almost as loud as an airplane taking off.
This is the second time I'm reading this book. First time was when my older boy was younger, this time around with my youngest. While I was reading, I remembered most stories, but it was fun and interesting re-reading it all. It's fun for kids to read and to boot it's also educational. I think my favorite was The Great Molasses Flood story.
