This was a really awful book I read it because of the subject matter and Israeli connection.I finished it as I wanted to know what happened to Morgan. However it was full of really awful language that seemed to me unnecessary and in the end I cared for nobody.i will not read anything else by this author.

I thought that this was a perfectly adequate thriller that told me some things I didn't know about jihadists and the Balkan conflict. However I did think that the behaviour of the husband was a bit silly and the introduction of the sexual elements unnecessary. I cannot say much about the plot because of the fear of "spoilers'. Apparently the author is a journalist and this showed in his writing style, not in a bad way, but noticeably. I doubt that I'll pick up any more this this author's works, there is so much better out there waiting to be read!

Rather disappointing. A good plot but although apparently based on true events, it felt contrived and untenable at times.

This is a very good thriller, and I genuinely enjoyed getting an insider's view of the conflict.
