Silas Knight is La Patron, the Alpha of all Alphas on the North American continent. Each specially trained Alpha takes on his last name and wears his crest. With the addition of half-breeds, the Nation grew sending a spike in rebel activity. KnightForce, a specially trained group of wolves, was created to assist La Patron against the threat. As a Cherokee Indian, Ethan Mope has his own set of unique challenges. Blamed and shunned by his brother for the death of their parents, he puts all of his energy into his work in the Marines and then KnightForce. Vanessa Prince just wants to live in peace, teach her students and accept the love of a good man. Easy, right? Vanessa’s past throws roadblocks into her present making a future frightening or none at all. Ethan wasn’t looking for a mate but now that he’s found Vanessa he’ll scalp anyone that tries to hurt her or stand in his way of claiming her. Vanessa has trust issues but needs to put those aside and take a chance on the mysterious Indian who won’t leave her alone.
I live in the southeast and enjoy reading and writing all things paranormal. Nothing is more relaxing than cracking open a new adventure in a new world.
I love paranormal tales and characters in general and shifter stories in particular. Throw in the romantic element, strong Alpha characters who bend beneath the power of love and I’m over the moon. Sighs…
I enjoyed reading about someone outside of La Patron's inner circle, but still able to know what is going on with Silis and Jasmine. Can't wait for the next book.
Vanessa Prince thought she found the perfect person to love her. Jim McNeil was saying all of the things she wanted him to say but his actions just did not match up. She desperately wanted to feel him in her arms but he refused but was pushing to get married. Her best friend and coworker Shyla did not like him for her. She felt that Vanessa was just settling for Jim when she knew that her friend could do so much better than Jim. Neither one of them knew that Jim was hiding a dangerous secret, one that would put Vanessa in a tailspin with past memories.
Cherokee Indian and one of La Patron's KnightForce soldiers Ethan Mopes was not looking for his mate but doing some work for La Patron when he saw Vanessa. His wolf knew immediately who she was, and his wolf cried out for her. There was just one problem, she was human and a breeder and knew nothing of the Wolf Nation.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book as the storyline had me hooked from the beginning. We find out that who La Patron thought was doing all of the underhanded back door research on breeders was not the government. In this book, we learn more about the abilities of the breeders. We also see the heartbreak of La Patron and La Patroness to the betrayal of a pup they helped to raise. We also see the power Jasmine wheels when she is completely angered by the treachery displayed by a heartless and broken breeder. Now, she plans on developing her own La Patroness Knightforce of women to protect their nation when the men can not.
In the end, even though Ethan had a lot to explain to Vanessa about who and what he is, she already felt the overwhelming comfort of being completely loved by a man who will never hurt or leave her. She felt completely at home in his arms and thoroughly in love.
Awesome installment of the series. I love Wolf Nation! Constantly keeping it fresh with new characters but we get stay in touch with the two characters that made us fall in love with this series- Jasmine and Silas! Can’t wait to read the next in the series!
Intriguing & interesting, this story adds more to the saga of the Wolf Nation by including the Cherokee Nation. I enjoyed this story very much & want to learn more so I will continue to read books by this author.
Ethan has been given his task as KnightForce from La Patron. Little troubles are emerging from larger and its his time to shine. Vanessa is getting married but she’s got a certain Cherokee on her mind. This is a thrilling addition to the series!
I always love reading books by Sydney. This was a great read just as all of her previous KnightForce books. Jasmine was so wonderful in the book showing the power I knew she had OMG. I can't wait to read Angus' story I know it's going to be great too.
You go girls. The story just keeps getting better and better. As we journey in the Wolf Nation, here is another enemy put to rest. This time the women play a pivital part, and that leaves room for more in the future. Great job and can't wait for the next one.
LaPatron's KnightForce series is not bad. It builds stories based on the hand picked teams created by LaPatron to enfore the new rules and manage wolves who are determined to disregard the new rules in the wolf nation. The characters are no where near as strong as LaPatron, Jasmine, Asia, Hawk and the twins, but they hold there own in the story lines of KnightForce. Silas Knight aka LaPatron is working to put his nation in order as best he can. Unfortunately Silas blinked and he missed what was happening around him. He because complacent and another group ramped up and almost took over. Poor Silas, he needs to get moving.....
I really enjoyed this one. Vanessa is a very strong person, especially considering what she's been through. Ethan is a very dedicated agent of KnightForce. And I love Vanessa's BFF Shayla. I hope she finds her mate soon. Plus we got an update on Callum who's grown quite a bit since we first met him.
Pretty good story. The romance was a little light but the action was awesome! And it's always fun to touch base with Jasmine & Silas and their family.
Good story, a little slow to start. Many twist and turns as Ethan and Vanessa discover each other as others try to manipulate and keep them separated. We also catch up with the quads, Jasmine and Silas. Overall a good read but with some typos. The typos do not take away from the story. Other thing, every now and then, you loss which character is relating to who but still pick up the thread.
Oh how I love these series! La Patron is having problems again and one of the KnightForce is sent to check . Ethan is a full blood and a Cherokee to boot. He trained with the best so he was one of the good guys. He's after rebels, then outta no where he finds her! Who you ask? Read it and find out! Sydney Addae series La Patron is great. Can't wait for the next one....enjoy!
I love the world Sydney addae created, the series keeps getting better and better. Ethan and Vanessa are great characters. The storyline had so much intrigue, drama, mystery and hot sex. Very well written but some things were left unfinished like Ethan's brothers especially shogan. I would definitely recommend this series.
Once again Sydney has the corner on one of the sexiest series of books around. You will get a little of everything when you start this series. The characters are great and truly deliver a wonderful story.I recommend his book to everyone.
The book was a great read I could not put it down. I have enjoyed all the books. Keep them coming. I also enjoyed how Jasmine and her mother came together as one to protect their men. I hope to read about Shylan and the children's of Selis and Jasmine .
Digging deeper into the breeders horrendous past, Ethan found his mate who had suffered. She had no idea of what she was but with a best friend and her mate she could never be happier!! Loved it!
