Beautiful Vengeance

Rate this book
Two Amazon bestselling fiction authors came together to pen a riveting novel about family, love, loss, and the levels of passion they can all evoke. “Beautiful Vengeance” is not your average story and is guaranteed to draw a plethora of emotions from readers.

When twenty-seven year old Audrey Ellis died in a hail of bullets on the streets of Oakland, it was a horrific scene for everyone who witnessed it. But none were more devastated by the tragedy than, Angel and Angelique, her two daughters and Rikki, her younger cousin, who unfortunately, had front row seats as the deadly scene played out.

They say that time heals all pain...

But sometimes this maxim is not a ‘one-size fits all’. Years later, each of the girls, now women, have full lives and have managed to get beyond the pain of their loss . . . kind of. Most people who have lived through traumatic events have trigger points. And sometimes those trigger points can cause repressed emotions to brim to the surface at the most unexpected times . . .

Rikki, Angel, and Angelique have collectively found a way of soothing their deeply inflicted wound. They want to help. So, they’ve taken matters into their own hands and where the police have failed, they have succeeded. Together, they are a force to be reckoned with as they take it upon themselves to make sure that those who commit acts of senseless violence are served justice—vigilante justice.

But the driving force behind the girls’ mission is laced with secrets and betrayal. Way too many, in fact. And before long, the many complicated layers begin to peel leaving in its wake, more questions than answers. “Beautiful Vengeance” is a whirlwind story with something for everyone, and will keep readers guessing.

I had up my previous bio for years! It was nice and all, and gave details of my life. But it was so structured! And I’m kinda not. Because of that, I’ve decided to change it to something that really gives you a glimpse into who I am. Is that cool? K, good. So, here goes:

I’m a Bay Area girl. Cali is in my blood! I moved to Vegas in 2017 (No, I wasn’t following the Raiders!) to see how another way of life would be, after my only kid . . . the love of my life . . . decided he was joining the Marines. Can you believe that?! Sigh. Wait, deep sigh! I know some parents await the day for their kids to leave, not this Mama. That was my ace, my bestie in male form. I had to hit the reset button. But here I am. He’s thriving. I’m ‘trying’ to thrive. Lol! No, but really. This relocation was good because I’ve never lived away from home. So, I needed to grow, cultivate a little. It’s working for now.

I consider myself a novelist. And that’s because a novelist doesn’t just write in one genre. For the most part, I write #InterracialRomance, with a primary focus on #BWWM, as my leads. However, I have written a few novels that fell comfortably in the #AfricanAmericanFiction realm, showcasing some #BlackLove. In short, I love building stories. I like to say that I “spin #Sexy and #Suspense into a single web.” The two dynamics have to co-exist in my stories, or I’m bored. And you know if the author is bored with their own work, there’s a problem! Trust me, I’ve done plenty of rewrites when that’s happened.

On my literary journey, I just hope to always write the stories that women find relatable. Characters who are strong, but vulnerable when they need to be. Family-focused, and intelligent. Basically, mirror images of myself. Ironically, writing these characters, have helped me discover things about myself along the way. I think that’s why I write as often as I do. It’s almost like peeling back layers of me as I go. And to stop that process, kind of hits the pause button on me . . . my life . . . my existence. I have to be a moving machine at all times. Does that get stressful? Absolutely. But is it rewarding and are there many teachable moments? Absolutely!

Ever need me, reach out. Ever got questions, I’m never too busy to respond.

Peace & Blessings!
Perri

Great Read

This book has an important dialogue about BLM and police brutality that I think everyone should read. The overall storyline was great. Once I started reading, I could not stop until I finished.

"Beautiful Vengeance" by Perri Forrest

My Thoughts.....

What a 'Beautiful Vengeance' these three ladies...Angel, Angelique and Rikki brought on for those who were in the wrong! What brought this on? After seeing their mom killed these three presented karma through vengeance in getting back on those who had harmed the innocent. As you are reading this story you will be able to feel the pain of these main characters.

This story was really quite interesting as these three only really wanted justice that seemed to not be able to get through the police. It was quite a shock in the end who they had to take out due to who had killed their mom. Be ready for a few twist and turns as well as secrets that will come out in this raw and uncut read. Be ready for a little bit of it all from 'drama, suspense, relationships destroyed, betrayal and even love.' Will Angel, Angelique and Rikki finally get the peace in the end? Well, you will just have to pick up this good read to see how well these author bring it all together to the reader.

A very good book

This book was well written & i enjoyed it from beginning to the end. The sisters & cousin thought they was doing a good thing to help them cope with their loss. I couldn't believe their father killed their mother bc he didn't want to c her with anyone else & kept his secret all this time well karma finally caught up with him n the end. I'm glad the sisters stopped killing & got on with their lives & didn't get caught

Revenge Meets Truth

My first read by this author, Beautiful Vengeance kept me in a state of Oh No's, Oh My God, and this can't be. I understood the hurt, fears, and pain of Rikki, Angel, and Angelique. Amazing story to the point I could overlook and forgive the typos and editing errors. I will read more of Me Forrest work. I've suggested this read to others.

This book held my attention form the very first page. This book touch on some real issue that people deal with everyday. I was loving the girl and how they overcame everything. It show that no matter what happen in life it does not define who you are. Good job to both of the author.

Good Read

Very different from the books I normally read, but I liked it. It’s probably how citizens feel in real life when something tragic happens in real life. Good Read!

Pretty good!

Not as hot as Perri's other books, but I liked the storyline. Loved Rikki, Angel and Angelique's relationship. They were truly ride or die. Good book. If you decide to take farther with Ralph and Angel, that would be good if you bring back the heat, Perri!! LOL

****Some Spoilers****
After watching the only person they ever knew and loved them, lay in street motionless to gun violence...
The death of their mother, hurt three sisters beyond thier souls. Trying to find a way to release the pain, eventually turned turned them into vigilantes.
Rikki, Angel and Angelique were basically fed up with how senseless killings never were taken seriously in low-income housing/"Black Communities"; how the "Thugs", the so called "tough nihhs" went by the no snitch code when innocent people and babies were getting caught up in idioc beef.
Tired of seeing mothers in grief or a child that is scared beyond measure because someone with a "piece" (gun), decided to make that child motherless, the three
came together with a plan...
No one was getting charged for the crimes and the police just didn't care enough to follow through with the cases, so the 3 sisters took it upon themselves to get street justice. And when the girls finally get a lead on their mother's death, they executed everyone involved without a second thought NO MATTER WHO IT WAS!
