Let me just start by saying, I have read just about everything Ms Gabelman has written. I love her Protector series and have read it multiple times as well as the first Lee County Wolves book and I will continue to read her works. And I'm going to apologize now for the rant...

I was so excited to get Hunter’s story after seeing him with the VC Warriors. I had even preordered his book so when it popped up on my iPad I couldn’t wait to read it. However, unfortunately, I was disappointed. This book had everything I hate in a mate story. The only reason I kept reading and DNF was because of the storyline. I wanted to see what was going to happen and I enjoyed seeing previous characters.

Emily is back in town after being away at college for two years. She runs into Hunter, whom she has been in love with for years. Hunter had been coerced into taking Emily to senior prom by a “witch” in town who threatened to cast a spell on him to “blacken and shrivel up his dick” if he didn’t. Hunter, none too happy, proceeds to hurt Emily’s feelings and it is known throughout town that he was forced to ask her to go even though they were sort of friends. When Emily returns to town, Hunter then faces reality that she is indeed his mate. But Emily just wants to steer clear of him and hasn’t forgotten his betrayal.

Now, as far as the story as a whole goes, I can accept his denial to a degree. However, what pissed me off more than anything else is that Hunter proceeds to fuck everything with a pair of tits he can even though his wolf knows she’s his mate. He says that the wolf wanted her but the man didn’t. You see, Emily wore glasses and was overweight….I absolutely HATE this with a passion. Initially Emily was strong and refused to get sucked in again. She even told him off a few times but all he had to do was lay down this lame ass story of how his mother was human and that humans don’t feel the same way wolves do so she was able to leave his dad who then drank himself to death. He didn’t want that for himself so he refused to take Emily as a mate. That is until he sees she no longer has glasses and has lost some weight and sees what others have with their mates. So now he decides he's ready. He had even built a house with his “mate” in mind. Well why the fuck didn’t he go after his mate??? Why did he feel the need to fuck everything in sight even though it left him "unfulfilled"?

And guess what…she was a virgin because she had always wanted Hunter to be her first. I absolutely hated it all. I felt so bad for Emily. She had seen him around town with women before she left for college and when she returns some are still hanging around hoping to get a second helping of Hunter.

I usually have a hard time with heroines. I often hold them to higher standards than the heroes…Don’t ask me why, I just do. In this instance, I loved Emily. She was tough and strong and gave it right back until she caved…Hunter didn’t even have to grovel. Just a sob story and all was forgiven.
I hated Hunter. I hated what he did to Emily. Any doubt lingering in her mind, he deserved. He deserved so much more and I hate that he didn’t get some kind of comeuppance.

I will continue to read these stories, I just hope the next one doesn’t follow the same path.

I needed more of an apology and while I understand (I really do!) the reasons for his actions it doesn't make them right. He needed to do more to show her his remorse and she needed to be stronger longer.

In cases like this I want the H's past thrown in his face more, I want him to really really REALLY see how his actions hurt the heroin, and I want him to beg. I didn't get that here BUt at least there were NO detailed scenes with the OW. We just heard about them.

As much as he fought it, denied it, and fucking ran from it, Emily Snodgrass was his mate, and it scared the holy hell out of him.

I have been looking forward to Hunter’s book for quite a while now and I must say in he beginning of this book I was a bit disappointed with him and his past treatment of Emily. But as always this author makes me love her heroes, and I definitely forgave him for being an idiot and not wanting to admit what Emily meant to him.

I loved that Steve, Slade (my favorite) and Jill (also my favorite) from the VC Warriors made appearances in this book. It was definitely the highlight for me. I also liked some of the secondary characters, and I would really like to read Dell’s book.

I love this author’s work, and her Protectors series is one of my favorite PNRs. I don’t love this series like I do the Protectors, but it’s still a very enjoyable read.

I loved it and was so excited for the release and was not disappointed...Hunter returned home from helping the VC Warriors and had outed his self as a shifter helping Jill in front of TV...He comes home to take what he knows what will a punishment from his alpha, his brother Garrett but is surprised to find out Garrett stands by him on helping Jill...But the town is in constant threats as others want to take over the pack.
Hunter finally gives into his wolf as his wolf has been letting him know whom his mate is and Hunter the man has been running from it for years but no more...

Another sweet little read

Easy low drama read with shifters being macho! Great summer read without too much thinking involved. Liked how the vampires from the protectors were in it and got to peek at Garrett too.

Hunter and Emily. This is one of my fave tropes. Where the h crushes on the H til she gives up and then the H has to work his way back into her good graces. The author does a great job, although I would have loved some kinda epilogue. The thing that saves the H in my eyes is if there is something he held back from all the bimbos, and not just the ILY declaration. In this instance it's that I liked how Emily was distrustful at first when he gets his head out of his *ss and professes that she is his true mate. I mean who wouldn't be after all the years of him treating her like she was nothing to him. He dug himself a pretty big hole.
Hunter comes back from helping Jax and the warriors (in A Warrior Wedding), to find out that Emily is back early from college. She and her sister have run the local feed store since their grandparents died with the support of the local pack. Emily finds out that the reason he took her to prom, was that the local witch threatened his manhood. She confronts him and then washes her hands of him, finally deciding that he is no friend of hers. It was a delicious smack down! Hunter then realizes what an oversized idiot he's been and determines to win her back. Meanwhile there's the fall out from Hunter outting the shifter communities to the public in "A warrior Wedding". Over all a fun read. I wasn't crazy about all of Emily's issues, but I did like her as a character. Hunter needs to do some growing up, but seems well onto the right path.
Can be read as a standalone, but you would miss out on the background of a lot of the side characters. OW stuff

Hunter Foster, a sexy wolf shifter and all around bad ass. He returns home to face his family and his pack after he outs the shifter community while helping the VC Warriors. Hunter is also running from a particular woman who is destined to be his life mate.

Emily has loved Hunter Foster since the first time she laid eyes on him as a young girl. Leaving her heart and love behind Emily attends college hoping to forget how she feels. After a devastating event happens to Emily she decides to return to Lee County to run her families feed mill store. Emily knows this won't be easy, she has spent most of her life living for others, making them happy. Emily decides to be brave by putting her past behind her, even if she is a little broken, even if her future doesn't have Hunter in it.

While Garrett is trying to protect his position as Alpha, Hunter and Emily's paths cross again. The pull towards Emily is too much for Hunter and his wolf to ignore. Will love conquer all? Will Garrett be ousted from his position as alpha? One click this amazing book and find out. I promise you won't be disappointed.

I love Teresa Gabelmans work. A good author has the ability to make you feel their story. Ms. Gabelman does that. I loved Emily's character. She didn't accept that any love was better than searching for the one only meant for her. Ms. Gabelman through these characters shows us love doesn't care about money, prejudices, or sins of the past. When it's real it burns hot and bright even in the darkest moments, and it's never over! I wait with baited breath for the everything Ms. Gabelman writes.

Forbidden Seduction by Teresa Gabelman
Oh Hunter!! I was waiting not so patiently for you and you did not disappoint me at all.
The book starts with Hunter returning from that little incident on TV…ya know where he outted himself as a shifter to save VC Warrior, Jill. Everyone in town is mad except for Garrett. He is relieved that Hunter is back to help defend the pack from other alpha’s. They looked at what Hunter did as Garrett not having full control of his of his pack.
When Hunter returns he can FEEL eyes on him and is stunned to realize they belong to a pair of grey eyes he has tried to deny his entire life……
Emily has loved Hunter her entire life. She has put with the fact she is the town joke. Hunter took her to prom only because he was forced to other wise he never gave her the time of day….every other woman has gotten his “time” but not her.
Emily is over loving him and her confrontation causes Hunter to come to terms with the fact he loves Emily. However, with one of his brothers also loving her, ex drama of hers, the town being infiltrated by other packs and haters wanting to keep Emily and him apart, he has his work cut out for him.
Can I get an AMEN for Steve, Slade and Jill being in this book!! OMG Steve…for real I cant wait for him to fall in love. He made me giggle so many times this book. I mean must Shake it off right!!?? Jill and Slade were as adorable as ever.

I for one never thought Hunter would settle down, but when you feel your wolf calling out when he sees his mate, you have to bend to his Weill, even if you've been fighting it since you were very young. Once burned twice shy is Emily, Hunter once asked her to the prom because of an old witches threat. Now he regrets his actions and Emily has a hard time trusting him. You get to also read about some of your fav VC Warriors as they visit with Hunter and look after Garrett's mate, Janna. Doctor McHottie makes and appearance with Jill and Mr. laugh a minute Steve. This time you get to see Steve grow up a little.
This is another amazing book by Teresa Gabelman, she definitely never disappoints me. I love everything she writes.

So after finding the first in this series I obviously had to jump right to this one.

My opinion on this is no different to the first. The storyline was flawless, both hero/heroine are extremely likeable and their story is extremely relatable in the sense that we're always routing for the ugly duckling who becomes the swan and the crazy hot player who realises what's been waved under his nose for freaking ever!!! Again it's has everything you want in a story from humor to angst. Great side characters with the amazing addition of Steve whom I freaking love!! From the protectors series also Jill and sexy dr slade to!

So yes I loved this. I'm pretty sure I'd love anything this author write.

I love a bad boy. Human, Shifter, Vampire, Real Life… I just fall for the bad boy, always. Usually that bad-ness turns into an ol’ softie for his one true lady, and she’ll accept him just as he is. Happy ever after guaranteed. Then there is Hunter Foster. Oh definitely a bad boy, sexy as sin, recently a hero even… and a first class jerk. Sorry, but it’s true. And the sad part is that I got why he acted toward Emily the way he did when they were teenagers. I did, but that doesn’t excuse breaking someone’s heart and holding them up for ridicule by the entire home town. No, Hunter, my bad boy book boyfriend… you messed up big time.

Then and now, Emily scared Hunter bat crap crazy. Oh, his wolf knew she was their mate, but Hunter has a past that simply got in the way of what his wolf knew was fated. So he did what teen boys always do – he lashed out at the one person he really wanted in his life but was afraid to commit to. That was the boy. Today, Hunter is a grown man who has still been running from his mate. But now Emily is back… and she’s taking crap from no one these days – especially the man she’s loved her entire life. Hunter Foster.

There is a lot going on in Forbidden Seduction. Janna, Garrett’s mate from Forbidden Hunger, is facing a difficult pregnancy. Since Hunter’s little performance of shifting into a wolf on live television, granted to save a life, was broadcast there have been lots of wanna be nasty Alphas showing up in town challenging Garret for the Alpha position in his pack. And Emily has come home, under unusual circumstances.

As much as I understood Hunter’s reasons in his mind, I also wanted to smack him upside the head way too often. Yet the one person that I despised and really would have loved to see tarred and feathered was Deb, Emily’s sister. What an absolutely nasty piece of work. It was so easy to get caught up in Forbidden Seduction, even though I’ve been away from the series for a while, I slid right back into that world with ease. Lots of secondary characters that I cannot wait to read their own romances… especially considering the grief they’ve given Hunter and Emily… just sayin’. My heart broke for Emily on far too many occasions. She’s been in love with one man her entire life, and finally he loves her as well. There is a lot of hurt, pain, and doubts that Emily has to put aside. Watching their relationship meld into the forever kind was frustrating, angering and sad… yet, in the end their love stood strong and true. At the end of the day, I loved Hunter and Emily’s romance. Really, no one should stand in judgement of anyone else’s choices in loving someone. Their relationship worked for this couple and really that’s all that matters… is their happy ending.

I’m heading out to pick up the next book… and I would definitely recommend this series to any reader who loves the bad boys and Shifter Romance.

I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited.

Well Teresa has another winner. Keeps you hooked from first page. Hunter walks into a big pile of trouble going on in his hometown after helping out the VC Warriors.Finding out your mate is a human who you have been avoiding for years takes some getting used to. This book is funny, well written, and a few surprises thrown in.I love the fact that several characters from her VC Warriors make an appearance and add to the hotness going on. This is the second book in series. Although I had read Forbidden Hunger when it was first released I went back and reread it to familiarize myself with what had happened first.

FORBIDDEN SEDUCTION is the second book in the Lee County Wolves series, and it’s been over two years since I read the first book, FORBIDDEN HUNGER. Because of that, I wondered if I’d have a problem following on from the first story, and I did, but not for that reason. I hit a few trouble spots because some characters and events introduced and talked about in this book relate to a different series. Because of that, I did feel like I was missing something, but it didn’t really affect my enjoyment of the story.

I liked Hunter, but his treatment of Emily when they were younger meant he had a lot to apologize for, and I don’t think he apologized enough. That being said, I did feel that he was truly regretful for how he treated her and will spend the rest of his life making it up to her.

I loved Emily. She was very sweet and she’d make sacrifices for those who deserved it, even if it came at her expense. Her sister was a vile human being, and as much as I loved that Emily did stand up to her most of the time, there were some times that she didn’t and during those times, she did come across as a bit of a doormat. If anyone deserved to be bitch-slapped, it was her sister. But when she confronted Hunter about how he hurt her in high school, she was absolutely magnificent.

“Never in a million years did I think you or anyone else for that matter would have to be threatened to take me out. I’m actually a pretty nice person who’s fun to be around.”

FORBIDDEN SEDUCTION is told in dual POVs and while it’s part of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone. Although, as I said above, it is connected to another series and if you haven’t read that other series, you might feel a little lost a few times throughout this story. It’s a fairly quick read and a good way to spend a few spare hours, and I already have the third book waiting on my Kindle.

Forbidden Seduction:

I was really looking forward to reading Hunters story because I adored him from the VC Warrior series. For Hunter’s story I give it a 5 star but I gave this a 3 star due to a huge misstep in the details of writing so fundamentally erroneous that it not only gives someone the wrong impression of a disease but it can actually kill the character and if someone stupid enough to think something they read in a fiction novel can transfer to real life and take what they think they learned and apply it to themselves or someone they know. Never in a million years would a doctor administer insulin without checking the blood sugar level of his/her patient!!!!! Emily was already in a crash and giving her insulin would kill her or put her in a diabetic coma. TG- you wrote Slade just gave her the shot. Ok how many units? Why didn’t he check her level? No doctor that didn’t get their license from a Cracker Jack box would give a patient an insulin shot without checking the blood sugar level, especially not during a crash!! This kind of irresponsible writing is what really pisses me off. After Slade gave her a blind shot you wrote that he now gave her orange juice and crackers. Huh- why didn’t he give her that when he first noticed she was crashing? That’s diabetic 101 !!! Never and I mean NEVER take insulin during a crash! Check the level, then bring the level up with orange juice, check it in 15 minutes. Why on earth did you have a well respected doctor who is supposed to be the best just blindly and erroneously treat Emily and her diabetes in such a careless way? Yes I’m sure you’ve guessed it. I’m a type 1 diabetic, in my 50’s so I’ve had lots of practice. Not to mention my husband is a real life doctor.

What can I say about the craziness that is Hunter? He's a wolf that makes you want to smack him and melts your panties at the same time!!
We came to know Hunter in Forbidden Hunger, but came to love when he protected Jill in A Warrior Wedding, now he's back home to face the consequences of his actions of showing the world shifters are real.
Wow, I can't get over how much Hunter grew from Garrett's book being with the Warriors was soo good for him. Then again being with them would be good for anybody!!!
Emily is human living under the protection of the Lee County Pack and has been since she was a kid and she's been in love with Hunter since he and his brothers came to town.
Love Emily, she's such a firecracker!! She has taken shit for years and isn't about to anymore and lets everyone, including Hunter, know it.
The interaction between those two breaks my heart and makes me happy at the same time! Finding out about Hunter's childhood makes things understandable but it still hard, and seeing the way he is willing to do anything to make up the way he treated Emily as a teenager shows just how much he has grown.
When a group comes to town to try and take over all kinds of shit goes down and the Lee county pack kicks ass!!
I can't wait for Marcus's book and I hope his mate is who I think it is!!

OMG!!!! I forgot one of the best things of the book!!!!! Our resident VC Warrior comedian Steve is sent to help the pack with the Shifters and what the outing of them means with the government. Steve finding a girl he "likes" in town and the way it is dealt with is hilarious!!!
Oh! Oh! Oh!! And my hubby and sister wife Slade and Jill come to town too!!!

I really enjoyed this book. There was more going on plot wise in this book than there was in the first one.

This book focuses on Hunter and Emily (the same Emily that he was forced to take to Prom). I really loved Emily's character; she wasn't what I expected from the story that Hunter told in the Protectors books. I like that she has a feisty side that she doesn't let out very often; she seems to take herself by surprise sometimes when she lets herself speak her mind. I like how the relationship developed between them. I liked how Emily was somewhat conflicted when it came to Hunter; how part of her still had feelings for him, and the other part was telling her to move on and find someone else. It was interesting to see Hunter come to terms with his feelings for Emily and yet not quite know what the right way to go about convincing Emily that he Had feeling for her and had all along. I found it a bit entertaining to see that this was one of those situations where everyone else seems to completely understand what is going on and what to do about it, except for the character involved.

I like how this book had a bit of a cross over with the Warriors form the Protectors series in the form of Steve, Slade and Jill. I like how having these characters come over from the other series, helped ground this series in the same world. Nothing felt out of place and therefore it all felt very cohesive. I look forward to there being more cross overs in the future.

Another great quick read.

Another good book.

I absolutely love this Author, each time she gives us sexy shifters and hot/feisty Vampires.

Hunter Foster is a handsome protective Alpha werewolf who returns home after outing the while shifter community when protecting Jill in the Protector series. Emily is a spunky Human who after a tough time away in college Returns home and uses the wrong moment to confront Hunter over why he took her to prom when she was younger. Entering a new Alpha who thinks he's high and Mighty and trying to take over the park, the situation gets heated. With the added stress of Janna having a difficult pregnancy, and Steve coming into the picture and doing what Steve does best (putting his foot in the situation). The book is constantly moving forward with Emily's horrible older sister making Emily's life hell by constantly reminding her of her past incidents and Hunters exes pushing their way in to prove that Emily's not good enough for him, it's a bit of a whirlwind. But Hunter getting the stick out of his rear end and does what his wolf has always known from the beginning that Emily is his Mate and needs to be claimed and I'm damn glad he does as Emily is strong with bumps along the way and deserves someone strong to take care of her and become a life partner.
This book is funny, exciting, sad, traumatic, hot, sweet and much mire, it has a bit of everything you need. Great Read.

Great read

Once again Teresa Gableman hit another one out of the Ball Park. This book was Hunter and Emily story. In trouble with his pack for breaking the most important rule I'n a shifters pack do not show humans your a shifter went right out the window when he shifted and saved Jill one of the VC warriors in front of humans and news Crew in public making national headlines and bringing their acknowledgement into the limelight . Now home to face the consequences of his actions he's surprised to find that all's not as it seems and he's now face-to-face with Emily his mate only proving to her he is a changed man is going to be one uphill battle considering everything he did to her previously before . Redemption forgiveness and acceptence are at the heart of this story and the pack coming together to face an evil enemy hell bent on taking over and overthrowing Garrett as head alpha of their pack they need to put personal issues aside and lead as one to defeat those who think they can take what doesn't belong to them . Another great read by Teresa Gableman I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series. I'm off to one click the next book. 😉

When a female VC Warrior (The Protectors) is downed after a meeting, Hunter Foster helps protect her... by shifting to his wolf but there’s a tiny problem. He did it in front of television cameras, outing shifters and his pack. Back in town with his restless wolf, Hunter’s certain his brothers will be angry but he didn’t expect what was actually waiting.

His brothers are furious brother and news that every wanna be alpha for miles has come to challenge his brother, Garrett, who is stressed enough with a pregnant mate. Hunter feels guilt but overweigt, bespectacled town human Emily’s back from college and distractingly curvy, sexy, making his wolf howl. Emily still wants Hunter but has to get past their past.

Hunter ups his game and confesses they’re mates, much to Emily’s confusion. Unwilling to concede after losing the challenge to be Alpha, Darnell comes back with loyal followers and plays dirty as he tries to take over the town. Especially with his mate at stake, Hunter and his wolf won’t stand for that. Neither will his brothers or his friends.

A Passionate Story That Kept Me Hooked

I'm already a BIG fan of Ms Gabelman's writing style and love The Protectors series; Lee County Wolves are quickly cementing their place in my heart too.

There are some seriously strong alpha types in this series but the good guys are my type of alphas; their mates come first. The women's personalities are exactly what crave in female leads; intelligent, resilient, self-sufficient and plenty of gumption! Both Hunter and Emily captured my heart and I loved learning more about them and seeing them get their HEA ending.

I love the banter and the balance that the humour plays to the more brutal, horrific, tense and emotional scenes. I can't wait to read the next book!

Loved it.

I have found a replacement author! what a wonderful find I am excited.about reading everything she has written! This book was very good and I am excited about the other books. The conflict between Hunter's wolf and his human side was eye opening. I have read many paranormal books but this is the first time someone has held out as long as No her did without going feral. I cheered when Emily finally lost it and got mad and showed out her sister and Sadie I was so proud of her. And Max and Sam were The best ever!

Read it. Read them all.

When I finished Teresa’s other series I felt sad that the series was over and that I would not have that connection to the characters again. And here she comes with her Lee County Wolf series. Equally amazing as her other series. Love the continuation of characters and their reliance on each other. The stories are believable and the characters have your heart or your anger…. And sometimes both. This second book in her wolf series is a wonderful quick read.

I like these wolves

I like these wolves. The friendships are strong and very realistic. Since I adored the VC warrior series it was great to see Jill, Slade, and Steve. The plot was complex and kept the reader interested. Hunter is so sweet rising above his bad behavior. I do wish sister Deb had something bad befall her. That took away one star, since Hunter kicking her out of the hospital was done outside the plot.

Ok want a man like one of the Lee County Wolves lol

They would lay down their lives for the one they love...so gentle yet so manly..so in control...yet living with their whole heart. Another pack tried to take control...Janna has a surprise of her own and Hunter finally claims his mate.
Slade, Jill and Steve from VC Warriors makes appears
Need too. Loved it and can't wait for the next.

Teresa Gabelman does it again.

I loved her VC Warriors books and it looks like Lee County Wolves series is going to be just as good. Her characters are great, the stories are interesting, and best of all I do not have to skim thru half the book because of explicit sex. She writes her books with engaging stories rather then filling half the book with sex scenes. She is definitely on my auto but list.
