Where can drones fly that no human would dare? Why do engineers turn to nature to design new flying machines? Could a drone space rover reveal the secrets of distant planets? How can a fire rescue drone save lives? Fast, agile and cheap to build, drones offer all the benefits of flight with no risk to any pilot. Already vital tools for the world's armed forces, drones in our towns and cities could transform the way we live, work and play.

This is the perfect book to put a student to the test on how to navigate nonfiction books. It has every text feature of a nonfiction book - diagrams, captions, graphs, charts, definitions, and even graphic novel pieces. The pictures, diagrams, and charts are especially helpful in understanding the intricacies of a drone. The animations are helpful to understand how a drone can help citizens and pushes the reader’s imagination to possibilities beyond just personal use. It is for sure a high-interest novel that will teach anybody (especially boys) something new about drones!
