In the days when the emigrant wagons rumbled constantly through the small town of Independence, Peter Leeds was the best-known scout on the Santa Fe trail.
His services were always in demand to guide settlers across the Indian-infested country that lay between them and the land of promise of which they dreamed.
Tough as rawhide, the scout had faced the dangers of the trail a thousand times over.

An MM. Western Action Adventure (R)
MM. has penned a western action adventure titled Rawhide which is the name of a scout and wagon train leader. The man is leading a wagon train from Independence to Santa Fe. Rawhide has led many trains in the west, but this adventure was one for the books. He discovers that the wagon train is loaded with the new Walker Colts and that the Mexicans riding with the train want them. The guns are being protected by two people. A man and his daughter. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
