You're looking for more steamy short stories? You're in the right place. Jade Sinner will give it to you.
Five years ago Ryan spent amazing night with a girl who came out of his life as quickly as she appeared. It was supposed to be one-night stand, but Ashlyn Shepherd was in his memory for a long time. He was trying to find her, but it never happened. Until that moment, when he wakes up after surgery, she turns out to be his nurse. Ryan will not let her go again, especially when he finds out why she left and never forgot about him either. Probably because he left her a gift for lifetime.
It has a very sweet moments especially with Jacob. And of course many of these hot and sexy short scenes. Ryan has a filthy mouth and unbeatable seed. So it was funny and dirty at once. I like this smutty second chance romance, but prefer even the shortest stories were more kept in reality. Hence my 3 stars.
But it was nice to see Emma again, from first part, and it gave that story extra ending, I've been waiting for it. Otherwise The Reckless books are very hot series that is growing increasingly with bolder scenes. I already can't wait for Brantley and Drake stories. They promise to be even hotter.
Jade Sinner writes for all those who want to read some smutty short stories. They are quick, dirty and hot with a variety of tropes in the background, always with HEA. If you fancy something like that is worth pay attention to her.

Wow that was extremely HOT!!!
What I loved about this book is that they talk thru their misunderstanding and that she quickly decides what's best for her and her son.
They had a ONS 5 years before and they had never been able to move on.
They meet again as she is his recovery nurse after his surgery.
They quickly develop a good relationship in which they are always honest with each other (well after their original misunderstanding is cleared up that is).
I was only going to give this book a 3.5 stars because of the heroine running away and not telling the hero about her pregnancy.
But Jade Sinner gave me the rare blessed rainbow unicorn (RBRU) of an epilogue. That has me seeing 15 years down the road. Ahhh and what a beautiful road it has been for them.

Ryan and Ashlyn had a ONS. Ashlyn slipped out before he woke up and he didn't get to talk to her. Through miscommunication and misunderstandings, they don't reconnect right away. Even though Ashlyn is keeping a huge secret from Ryan.
Fast forward 5 years. Ryan is in recovery after surgery and his nurse is none other than Ashlyn, the one that got away. They have thought of each other everyday. When secrets come to light, will they make it work??

I admit it...I have a slight addiction to Jade Sinner. It seems whenever I'm in the mood for a quick hot read, Jade Sinner has the books to satisfy my HEA smutty book needs!
Panty Dropper is the second book of the Reckless Series and can be read as a stand alone. In the first book of the series, Jade gave us the best friends little sister romance trope and now in this second installment, we get somewhat a mixture of first love/one night stand romance trope.
Five years ago at a college party, Ryan Briggs met a girl named Ash and hit it off. Soon Ryan and Ash found themselves tangled in the sheets but the very next morning, Ash was gone. Fast forward to five years later, Ryan comes face to face with Ash when he discovers that she is his nurse. Meh.
H and h had a one night stand, but when H woke up the next morning, h was gone. You later find out it’s because h was told by another woman that H was her boyfriend.
Five years pass before they meet again. All this time, H has never forgotten the “one that got away” (his words, not mine). Not enough to stop screwing random women, but whatever. The heroine of course, has been celibate the entire five years. Not a single penis. Not a one.
There’s a big surprise secret that the h has been keeping. Take a guess what it is. I’ll give you a minute.
K, I’m back. Did you figure it out? So, I sort of give the h a pass for not hunting down the hero. Not because she thought he was a lying cheating asshole, but because she didn’t even know his last name. (She could’ve figured it out with a little bit of Nancy Drewing though.) Hero though, knew the heroine’s last name, sought out her best friend and gave up when the best friend told him he was a dick and the heroine never wanted to see him again. Dude, if you have no idea why the one woman you’re clearly obsessed with never wants to see you again, try a bit harder. I know it’d bother me to high-hell if some guy I just had the best sex of my life with hated me all of a sudden. I’d figure that shit out, STAT.
And the smut. Also, meh. The hero is a decent dirty talker, but the scenes don’t live up to his hype. Plus, this part:
”You don’t know how happy I am to be the only man to ever have you.”
His words ignite a streak of jealousy. “But I’m not the only woman to ever have you.” I think I’m one of many. [Faux spoiler alert: She is very correct on that assumption.]
He stops kissing my neck and turns me so we’re facing one another. “Be clear about this one thing, if nothing else. You’re the only one to ever have my heart. That part of me has been reserved for you. You’re the only one who matters. I love you, Ashlyn.”
“I love you, too.”
Boom. Mediocre sex recommences.
Is it wrong of me to wish for a hero in his position to say “all sex sucked unless it was with you”. I just want one hero to have a crap sex life if the heroine remains celibate. Is that too much to ask??
The grammar and proofreading were pretty solid, though.

Okay... This "review" is going to be more of a rant then a review. I DID NOT like anything about this novella. I did not find this book to be "sexy" and it didn't make me "blush" in any way. What I DID DO was roll my eyes continuously and several (unlady-like) snorts. I found Panty Dropper to be ridiculous and a waste of the 40-ish minutes it took me to read this. This is the second Jade Sinner novella I've read and I haven't liked either one, so I hate to say it, but I won't be reading anymore by these authors.
My MAJOR problem with this story was lack of "safe sex". I find it completely irresponsible to not even think about condoms, birth control, STD's, and unplanned pregnancy. Listen, do what you want, when you want, and however much you want. That's not my issue. Just be safe and protect yourself. The heroine was a NURSE and she doesn't give a second thought about it. WHAT?????
And the insta-love... ughhhhhhhhhhhhh. I don't always mind "insta-love" stories. But again, I found this whole book ridiculous. This didn't even come across as "love". Insta-lust, maybe. The Hero and heroine had a drunkin' one-night stand 5 years ago, hadn't seen each other since, but were in love with each other the whole time?!? No. Just...

I had another issue with this book. I have had shoulder surgery. There is NO FREAKING WAY I was thinking about and/or wanting sex within hours (or days/weeks) of waking up from anesthesia. Shoulder surgery is no fun and painful. And the recovery is not easy. I mean, I couldn't even wash my hair, change my clothes, or get out of my chair without help.
I found this whole book to be completely ridiculous.
Don't waste your time.

It seems like the more books I read from Jade Sinner, the better they get. Panty Dropper is no exception to that, the story had me at the edge of my seat with all the twist and turns in the book. Although the story is fairly short, we do a good amount of twists and steamy scenes to keep you wanting for more.
At the beginning of the story we get to meet Ryan, his recent accident has left him in the hospital surrounded by his family. After experiencing too many accidents while playing baseball, he knows the drill of his current state. But nothing could have prepared him to see the girl that got away come into his room as his nurse. It's been years since Ryan has see Ashlyn, but he knows the minute he sees her that he wants her more than anything. What began as a misunderstanding turns into a series of steamy sessions between the two characters as they come to terms with what they could have as a couple. When Ashlyn finally reveals the truth behind why she left Ryan that one night, it'll be up to them to decide if their future together.
As I mentioned before, Panty Dropper is a total attention grabber from the very start, the characters have such a chemistry that will keep you reading nonstop. Ryan is definitely a handsome playboy, who can have just about any girl around him, yet Ashlyn has been the only one who ruined him for anyone else. After their night together, he can't stop thinking about her, and now that they are reunited, he is not about to let her go again. With twists and turns in the story, we also get sweet moments between the characters that will leave you rooting for them until the very end. I would highly suggest reading this book, you will love the epilogue! :)

These books just keep getting better and better! Ryan and Ashlynn both had a one night stand and reunited several years later. They still have chemistry from that first night and she is the one that got away. Going in I just knew what was going to happen but there was a twist I didn't see coming!! This made the book even more enjoyable. Plus the epilogue was really cute and I enjoyed getting a glimpse into the future. Jade Sinner is definitely becoming one of my favorite erotic novelist!

The writing was good at the beginning, then it went downhill fast. Everything was so rushed, like the authors just wanted to get this written quick and throw it up on Amazon. Maybe because anyone who writes something similar to Alexa Riley is going to sell a boat load of books. Alexa Riley's books are better than this and I am no fan of theirs.
This was insta-lust, not love.

This short book could have been so much better than the list of insta-lust and insta-love stories flooding the market right now.
Ashlyn and Ryan had sex once and it's not explained why he had unprotected sex with her, when he usually wears a condom.
She gives him her virginity and then disappears and never tries to find him again because some woman says she was his girlfriend.
Idea. Why not go back to his room and ask him why he had unprotected sex with you when he already has a girlfriend.
So she fell pregnant the first and only time she had sex. She never knew his last name and I suppose she didn't know where to find him to tell him about the baby.
There are things in this book that annoyed the hell out of me.
1.The sex scenes were quick and crap, seriously. He's in and out in a minute. The dirty talk is better than the sex.
Even the anal scene was boring and completely anti-climatic, after he kept saying he's going to do this and that to her.
2. Why are the other women in the book written in a negative light?
The redhead who stalked him and pretended to be his girlfriend, had sex with the entire baseball team.
Even her friend Brittany had a threesome with Ryan's friends.
But she's the pure beautiful virgin who has only had sex once with him. 5 years and no other man.
It's over the top nonsense to make her look perfect and it's getting old now.
3. The dialogue and inner monologue was decent at the beginning, then it was laughably bad.
Example:
"Your crazy. You have no idea how much work a baby is. If you knew, you'd be using a Shop-Vac to suck all that cum out of me."
"I'm leaving the cork in place for a minute so my babymaking juice won't leak out before it's had time to work."
4. All this nonsense about wanting to get her pregnant again when you've known this woman for no more than a week (all together including the one night you had sex with her). Try dating for a minute and get to know your son.

Panty Dropper is the second installment in the Reckless series and had a trope that I just love... little sister/best friend. In this novel, we meet Ashlyn and Ryan. They had a one night stand 5 years ago until she left him. Now she's back.
Get ready for a journey that will make you swoon, smile, melt, blush, and fall in love. I loved every word in this book, devouring them by the second, wanting more at the end. I cannot wait to see where we go next in this hot little series.

I knew this was a short story but still it reeled me. This author knows how to pull you in and keep you hooked on her stories.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first

This is Ashlyn and Ryan’s story. A one-night stand. That was all it was supposed to be but even 5 years later you still think about it. Ashlyn got away 5 years ago but now that she is back Ryan will stop at nothing in order to make her his. She walked away with his heart now he wants hers. He wants to make all the pain and sadness that she is carrying around go away. He wants to bring her back to her old self and make her his. Does he even have a shot or is Ashlyn going to run again?
I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book

Once again Jade Sinner has delivered a sizzling hot novella. This is the second book in The Reckless Series and it's Ashlyn and Ryan's story. We first met Ryan in Cherry Popper.
These two started off in a classic one night stand kind of scenario, but through some misconceptions, lost the opportunity to see what might have been given their strong connection. Well low and behold five years later than meet again when Ryan is Ashlyn's patient.
Who knew being in an outpatient surgical center could be HAF??? I certainly didn't but they make the most of seeing each other. To go any further would give away some of plot so I'll stop here and say pick up this book that's a quick read but does not lack in sizzling heat!!!

Panty Dropper was another hot, erotic, insta everything read by Jade Sinner. I usually love the books that this author puts out and while I liked Panty Dropper, it just didn’t meet that mark that I have come to expect from Jade Sinner. I think this one was just to over the top on so many levels. I am all for over the top insta love but the way Panty Dropper goes is just too over the top and really unbelievable. Maybe it is because I have known people with shoulder injuries and surgeries but the rate that Ryan and Ashlynn hook up just was unbelievable. While this isn’t my favorite one from this author I can’t wait to see what comes out next.

I think this has been my favorite one so far! I don’t want to give away what we find out close to the beginning, because that’s what made the book one of my favorites and you’ll find out soon enough once you start figuring out where the story is heading. Out of all the ones I’ve read, I wish this one was the one that was a full length novel. The story behind this one and how it developed would’ve made for an excellent long book! But this was another fast book, definitely still insta-love even though it was years until they saw each other again but still a super fun entertaining book!

Standalone second chance romance after one night stand years ago
Panty Dropper is a second chance romance after a one night stand five years previously that was ruined unknowingly by a misunderstanding. I won’t say much to avoid giving any spoilers but this is a well written short story that will have you blushing at times.
Ashlyn and Ryan have an unusual way of coming back into each other’s lives but it’s clear for both characters, despite the time lapse, their attraction is still there and they still hold each other close to their hearts and longed for more than their one night together. Things heat up quickly again between this nurse and baseball coach but the issues they have to overcome are also handled with a maturity that really shone through in both characters, something I personally loved. I also really liked how we got a glimpse of catching up with Ryan’s sister Emma in the book and then way into the future for Ashlyn and Ryan’s HEA at the end (further than most HEA’s go).
Definitely a good standalone second chance romance read.
