No, this was not a good one for me!!!! I have read much better books by this author.

The whole story and characters felt so forced, not believable at all.
No chemistry....felt no love or connection between Chico (ooh what a horrible name./....) and Lady Lizzie!! And the secondary characters were so so boring!!!!

And then let me know start on the setting.........what polo world was this one!!!!! No glamour or excitement!!!! Just plain brown and drab!!!!!

Really, I cannot recommend this book to lovers of Mills & Boon!!!!

Another one of the "polo" books,meh read.I think it is time to give up on this author. Maybe it's me,but I did not feel the love.And the hero's name is Chico,enough said.

In the Brazilian’s Debt by Susan Stephens was a well written romance with amazing chemistry between the main characters. Portuguese phrases add a nice touch to an enjoyable story.

Lizzie was a likable heroine who was still hung over Chico, even though she was not willing to admit it. Her past was not perfect and it changed her perspective quite a lot. Chico is a likable hero and though revenge is his first motive, he slowly starts to feel a lot more towards Lizzie.I personally felt his name was a little lame for a hero.The romance is emotional and passionate because of the amazing chemistry the characters share.

Overall, In the Brazilian’s Debt is an enjoyable romance which will be loved by Susan Stephens fans. I am looking forward to the next book in this series!

Inconsistent read for me. Thought Chico was a jerk in Brazil, but he was supportive when Lizzie needed him the most, so brownie points for that. I couldn't help but snicker at hero's name; we had a pony named Chico at the farm, so I thought of the pony almost every time I read his name. Since Chico the hero was stubborn like Chico the pony, I guess the association wasn't half wrong.

I randomly choose this book because i need on to pratice reading in french , I wasn't actually expecting something... but this one turn out to be worst than I thought it could be !!
