C-Vac

Rate this book
If someone told you they had a vaccine, medically proven to work and completely safe to take, that would both prevent and cure cancer of all types, would you take it?
Briella was six years-old when her mother passed away from cancer. Five years later, C-Vac, the cancer vaccine, was announced. For most, it was considered a miracle. For others, like Briella’s dad, it was a suspicious hazard. Nonetheless, when people are offered a miracle, they’re not likely to pass it up.
For eight years, cancer was simply a thing of the past. But once the side-effects of C-Vac start to emerge, Briella rapidly begins to understand that the world, as she knows it, will be forever changed.
Now faced with new dangers she never thought possible, she’ll have to decide: hide away from anyone who could pose a threat or trust the one person she so desperately wants to let in?

This was an interesting twist on the vampire/paranormal romance genre! It was also compelling to see a world sort of like one with zombies, only people are trying (as best they can) to carry on with normal life. That's far more original than the world falling to pieces.

The characters are so fun to root for, and the romance is adorable. The ending makes you so eager for the next book in the series!

I read this book for professional services.

Not gonna lie, I was a bit skeptical. I've been off vampires since the whole Twilight- obsession thing that went on where vampires were pretty much ruined. This book though, a completely badass take on vampires. There's no glittering in the sunlight.

The C-Vac vaccine was used to cure cancer but was never properly studied. 8 years later the C-Vamps pop up after random people who got the C-Vac get sick. This is a totally unique combo of vampires and dystopia all in one!

It is a lot like Daywalkers mixed with Stephen Kings Salems Lot. Definitely intriguing and will keep you hooked.

A huge thank you to the author for allowing me to review her book!

I must say this book pulled me in so hard and I just couldn’t put it down!! This is a first by this author for me and well I know hands down will not be my last!! Fast paced full of twist turns and a few big surprises Stephanie takes us into a world of fear. The ending!!! Oh the ending leaves me hunting for book two 😂. I honestly don’t leave many 5 star ratings but this would get six if I could!

A cure with a twist. Starting book 2 ASAP because i can’t wait!!

The way I rate a book is how it makes me feel. I had all the emotions with this one. Scared, anxious, excited and it was a page turner. I love the detail and the relationship between all the characters and the challenges that they met. If you’re looking for a new author that can keep you in your toes with great detail start with this book and i think you will down load all of Stephanie Henry’s books. So so good! Now onto book 2!!

Wow what a great story. This was my first book from this author and certainly not my last. I can't wait to read the next book! What an ending! I don't want to spoil anything but twilight and red queen readers would devour this :)
