This is a cute audiobook about Lucy, the bunny, who goes on a hike with her friend. It’s a rhyming book and narrator does great job keeping the flow going. She has a really soothing voice that’s great for kids books. This audiobook is a lot shorter than the first one but I think kids will enjoy it just as much. 4 stars.

In this leg of Lucy's journey (Lucy is a series of children's books), she's interested in going hiking with her friend, One, but he's got other plans. Instead One sends Lucy hiking with Kodo, a friendly dog. Together they set off- OOPS! without a map... It's up to them to find their way while taking time to enjoy their journey.

James Livingood is an excellent children's book author. His illustrations are tranquil and soft on the eyes, allowing you to not just appreciate the events, but to gently fall into them. The images of the field, lake and waterfalls were perfect for bedtime reading with the little ones. The story was simple enough for beginning readers but carried a message for children as old as maybe eight. It's one of those books that reminds one to not be concerned with only the destination, but to treasure the journey.

My Ewoks and I liked all of Livingood's kiddie books so far. On to my next read!

This delightful story in verse is a good interactive book for the adult to read with a preschooler. As you read you need to find hidden bones and once the bones change color from white to colors of the backgrounds it becomes more challenging but still can be found by youngsters. Additionally the illustrations of nature can be used as conversation starters such as have you been to a lake or have you camped out or have you used a map. I gratefully received a copy for review from the author. I recommend its use in reading groups or for nighttime book time.
