Everything goes from complicated to fucking convoluted.
That is a perfect explanation of the story.
Mike "Mad Dog "Kennedy and Madeline "Maddi Lainey" O'brien get together again.,But not closer.They seem to be getting hits after hits and just barely holding together . Good thing Benji and Lacey are on the road to recovery . Mik needs to seek be vengeance on his supposed father in law -Beast , but Lainey still can't approve.
Family is at loggerheads, secrets get revealed, complicating things more ...ughhh
This Club is a fucking joke. Our parents need their fucking heads read, bunch of cheating frauds. They’ve spent years lauding their “epic” love stories over our heads— turns out they’ve been full of shit the whole time. It’s kinda poetic. Hey, little brother. Welcome to the family. Madelaine O'Brien and Mikhail Kennedy have overcome every obstacle thrown in their path, so it should be smooth sailing. Mik is home, and taking his place as President with Maddi at his side, who is finally free of the demons of her past. However, Mik can't get the need for brutal revenge out of his soul. Something happened to him while in jail, and he's not letting anyone in to help him. He's filled with all consuming rage, which is blinding him to Maddi's newest struggle, and he refused to open up to her. She wants to forgive and forget, and he's not having any of that. So instead of a happiness and love destiny, this pain and regret may be their final breaking point.
Let start out by saying that I have read the majority of this series in 24-48 hours, and my emotions are so far gone, that I'm on my knees now. The character development is great, with the colorful MC as an awesome cast of secondaries. The love of Maddi, and Mik, is so profoundly all consuming, that my heart almost broke with Tempting Fate. Kylie Hillman sure knows how to write a brilliant series that never lets up bringing out my dramatic girly girl emotions. More of her twists and turns are coming unraveled, which has made for some serious f-bomb worthy moments that don't seem to quit. She's finally earned her rightful spot on the list of authors trying to KILL ME DEAD, not only from the actual story, but also with the way it ended. I'm anxious, and yet scared, to see how she wraps this all up, but knowing her, it will be explosively EPIC! Bottom line, just read this series that I can't stop HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDING to ALL!

WHAT IN THE HELL!!!!!! That is one stunner of an ending. This book is chock a block full of action, sadness, anger, deceipt, revulsion, etc. I stated after I read the previous book that I thought Beast was an asshole right from the start and in this book we find out he is a vile human being. Every character is flawed in some manner or another and some more than others, which makes for a very interesting tale. Until we find out what happened to Mik in prison I was thinking he was being a giant dick but was I wrong. I want to read the next one but part of me doesn't.

It's tempting F-ing fate right now for my body not to combust with rage! I can't even write this review except to say the hate I feel for a certain person has life. I want him to suffer like no other character I have ever read. I am so mad and sad that my heart hurts. I am off to read the next book and hope I get my wish fulfilled. This series is phenomenal.

No words can explain just how emotional and bleak this story is, Mad Dog and his love for his Angel has ensured so much but everyone has a breaking point and in this instalment I think we edge really close to that point, although it's killing him. This couple doesn't have luck on their side as every step of the way has been filled with difficulty, pain and challenges that would crush the hope out of most. Yet they keep strong in their love for another and honestly the ending just floored me. This is another story that encapsulates the struggles and the strengths of the MC, showcasing how they stand together and are strong in the face of adversity. There are major revelations that explain the sat betrayals although it makes them no easier to forgive. The torment of choosing...it leaves a foul taste behind yet needs to be done. The inner battles waged also takes it toll and not everyone emerges unscathed from the ongoing war...
Usually I try to include a brief synopsis in my own words but this story is so jammed packed filled with turmoil and plot twists that I couldn't find the words to do the story justice. We catch up with all of the family and suffice to say this story is about coming home. It's brilliantly written and really provides a different prospective to past events too, I think I now see the motivations although that doesn't excuse it at all, the things Mad Dog survived are heart breaking too but made me love him even more. He's one tough cookie. I can't wait for the next in the series, I'm officially addicted .

Simply WOW ! In order to read this, I invested in the first 3 books of the series. Seriously I've been missing out on some amazing writing skills and some superb characterisation in from Kylie. I just kept reading book after book.
Mik and Maddie are by far my favourite couple of this series so was really happy to find that this book was based back around their relationship. The fact it started right where the last book ended was also a great plus for me as it was just a continuation.
All the books from the first to the last are written beautifully with ease and flow, but this just flows straight past them all and is by far the best book of the series.
This story is full of emotion, the twists, the lies, the betrayal, the trust, the pure love and the tested friendship and family ties tested beyond all limits, leads you on one hell of a ride and what a ride it is.
But the Bam and Damn Kylie that ending blows everything out of the water !!
This series is a must read especially if you love MC.

Holy hell!! Where do I start? This is book no four in this series, and seriously, I would advise reading these books in order, as each book starts where the previous one ended, and the insight into each of these character helps as this series moves along.
This is a revisit to Mad Dog who is rightfully now the president of the MC, and the love of his life, Maddi. These two have a love that runs so deep, that all the trials and tribulations that they end up enduring would have broken a lesser love. Every time things are tough for them, boy, do they get tougher!!
This story is action packed with secrets, revenge, angst, emotion, heartbreak, and romance. Kylie has outdone herself with this storyline, as it is brilliantly written, and flows flawlessly. I was hooked and captivated throughout.
I recommend all of Kylie’s work for all, and cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

After that ending I don't know what to say. I am speechless. Surely it didn't end the way I think it did right?
This book was absolutely amazing. It picks right up where book 3 leaves off. And it is just as good if not better.
All of the Lies and betrayals make this book hard to put down. from the beginning to the end it left me reeling.
these poor broken characters. all of them are totally messed up in some way, but some how they manage to stay strong.
I am beyond excited for book 5. Especially after that one hell of a cliffhanger. check this series out. I am telling you, it's epic.

Wow, full of conflict and action. Do you try and forgive and forget the past or do you seek revenge? Lainey who wants to forget the past and start a new life with Mik aka Mad Dog, Mik who cannot forget the horrors that Lainey has been through thinks of nothing but revenge. Revenge which will be a blood bath, revenge which will leave Lainey and her siblings fatherless, revenge which will change not only Lainey & Mik's lives forever, but the lives of all members of the Black Shamrocks MC. In this book Lainey & Mik fight their conflicting feelings to try and re-unite as a couple. Lainey knows what Mik, as the new President of Black Shamrocks must do, but struggles to accept losing her father despite how he 'sold her' her out to the man who nearly killed her and how he put Mik in prison for her crime. Mik knows as the new President, what he must do, and is thirsty for revenge not only against Laineys father, but the corrupt police chief and rival MC gang. The book shows the depth of feelings Lainey & Mik have for each other and goes through a twisting tale of them coming back together as a couple and beginning to overcome the conflict which could tear them apart. There remains secrets between them, which leaves you wondering what the exact nature of the secrets are and what the importance of them are to Lainey & Mik's relationship. The ending of this book, to me came as somewhat of a surprise, although in retrospect perhaps it should not have done. It was explosive, a lot of action in a short time and arrived like a bolt out the blue. It did however leave me somewhat perplexed and thinking how can there be a book 5 after this? My response was to start book 5 without taking a breadth, be prepared to do the same.

What a crazy ride this story took me on, I loved getting back to Mik and Maddi. Again, it was full of revenge, action, humour, sexy scenes and a bucket load of emotions that had my heart stopping for most of the book. And that ending! I almost didn’t want to finish it just so I don’t know what happens.
Kylie has done another incredible job in the Black Shamrocks MC series. I loved all the surprises and turns that happened which had me on the edge of my seat dying to know the truth. These characters have grabbed me and aren’t letting go, I can’t wait to see what they next story brings.

Mik and Lainey have been through hell. Both suffering from backstabbing, corruption, abuse and distrust. Trying to get themselves together to see if there is a happy ever after for them. Things come together in ways but secrets are revealed that could rip everything and everyone apart. This addition will have you wondering can they heal. Are things too comfortable? Mike's out of jail. He should be happy but all he can think of is retribution. He's gots his girl behind him & just has to think about her tonight. He's had a hard time in jail & it has changed him. Struggles

WOW! This book is fan-freaking-tastic! You'll need to read the previous 3 books to understand anything that's going on. The ending is a gasping jaw dropper; I can not wait to listen to the next installment. Kylie Hillman is a such a great author, I'm sure it won't disappoint.

I believe Mad Dog and rest of the Black Shamrock MC members believe that the "Beast" has committed treason and needs to die.
However, there's a lot more to this story and also to what happened in prison with Mad Dog.

God Mad Dog and his Angel can not catch a break in this book. Really kept you on the edge of your seat the whole book just trying to find out that everything is going to be good in there relationship. But the ending is never what you think its going to be, I was cob smacked I didn't know what to do. This series is a must read.

Mik and Maddi’s relationship is a tumultuous one to say the least, but it’s full of heat and drama, which is everything I love in my books! I’m a huge fan of Kylie, so I was thrilled when this landed on my kindle!! It’s everything you expect from her books and more!! I was on the edge of my seat while reading and couldn’t put it down. I needed to know what was going to happen next! Seriously another great book in the series!

Mik is out of jail, but its just not good enough. So much was done to him and he doesn't want Maddi to know. Being out has been hard on Mik and he can't get past what has been done to me, let alone his family. This is such a powerful fourth book for this series. It breaks a lot of stuff down for us and also gives us more questions. Mik doesn't trust anyone anymore. He has seen what trust has done to him and everyone around him. Not even Timber can get him out of his head, his best friend forever. The change is evident and vengeance is what is on the plate. The problem is more secrets keep on popping up and it gets to a point of what is really going to make everyone happy. A war is brewing with the Mayhem, but other things have to be settled first. Even getting out of jail feels like Mik has been sentenced to hell. Will he be able to keep Maddi, because Mik has to get rid of Beast, but it will tear Maddi apart. Ever hear the rhyme a kid uses "secrets, secrets, are no fun unless you tell everyone", I don't know about that after reading this book. Some things I feel shoulc be hidden and kept there if it will hurt someone that you love.
Mik is out and I feel everyone except Mik is happy. He has been through more than anyone during his time in jail. He hides things from Maddi now, but one thing is for sure he is going to kill Beast. He has hurt everyone for the last time. Maddi is not on board with this and feels that she can't choose. This gives a new set a problem to Mik and Maddi. On top of that Maddi was not doing good when Mik was gone, she went back to her old ways and she is hurting more than she lets on. Beast has a plan up his alley and is using Wendy as a pawn, a pawn that will help him because she loves him so much. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, because this is going to be a ride.
I can't go into many details, but I will tell you that this leaves you in a cliff hanger. You also need to start at the beginning of this series to get the full affect of what is going on in these books. Don't start here, start at the beginning where you see how much people have changed throughout this book. I stopped to write this review, but I am going right back in to read the final book of this amazing series. There is so much I want to tell you, but I need you to take the ride with me so you know where it ends. People are going to die, but who will it be?

What is the meaning of cliffhangers? Do they exist for the sole purpose of leaving the reader into a pool of endless need? The need to know what happens next, the need to know if the characters will come out on the other side? I can never decide on the main reason authors leave us with cliffhangers. But I do know that it leaves me biting my nails and sitting on the edge of my seat to refrain from pulling my head out.
Tempting Fate goes back to the original characters from the first book, Maddi and Mik are on another adventure to fight the past that is threatening to take over them. With Mik out of jail, he has to learn how to hold off of revenge if he wants Maddi to stay with them.
I loved this book because I got to read about these characters again, so far they are my favorites out of the whole series. If I could I would grab Maddi and Mik to cuddle with them on the couch, watching netflix and sipping on some hot chocolate. That couple has been through hell and back.

WOW! This is quite a long series but it is absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!! From the beginning and learning of all the characters to the end…….just brilliant!!!!!
I love how the main story doesn’t change. The back story, for lack of better words, continues and flows throughout the series. But each book is somewhat about individual bikers. The romance part of them finding their woman changes per book. The way the author keeps the story and inserts different “lead” character’s in each book is simply amazing!! I can’t say enough how amazing the writing in this series is. I’m approaching 200 books read this year and the writing/story in this series is easily in the top ten.
If you can think of it it’s probably somewhere in this book. Drugs, drug addiction, sex, rape, abuse, mind f*ck’s, betrayal, daddy issues, babies, weddings, a sweetness that is amazing, loyalty to a fault, murder and above all…..LOVE! In the mist of everything that could happen to someone love prevails even when it shouldn’t.
I guess the main story and for most of the seres it’s about Madi & Mad Dog and their intense love and passion for each other. However, it’s not just about them. There are lots of characters but I mentioned the writing…..yea no worries. She glides you through all the characters as if they were friends.
From the beginning when the most awful thing ever happens to Madi, her determination and strength to pull through, I was hooked. The excitement and sadness and angst was unbelievable. As the series grew I just had to know what happens. Lets not forget to mention the hotness factor. OMG! HOT HOT HOT! My kindle was burning up!!!!
You must read this series. It’s just amazing! One of the best of the year for me!

Hello Lovers of Dark MC Romance! Here is another installment of one of the most dramatic MC Romance Series being written today. Mad Dog and Maddie are once again in a precarious position thanks to Beast. Beast is Maddi's father, Mad Dogs mentor and the former MC President. Mad dog is fresh out of prison and experiencing some deep rage. In this installment, more than any other, we see why he's called Mad Dog. "Mik was who they locked up...Mad Dog is who emerged."
I have to say I love it. It's scary, intense and overwhelming at times, and that's why I read this series. I love the over the top drama and torture the characters put me through while reading. Maddi, oh Maddi, she is backsliding. I was so upset she was cutting herself again, and I love how Mik handled it. I was really mad at her, I wouldn't have kept it together as well as he did. These two can soothe each other in ways no one else can. It's lovely.
This is a series and it is best read in order. Also, this is a to be continued with a cliff hanger twist. Which means a bit of a wait for me to find out who survives. Yessssss. That kind of cliffhanger, pins and needles, on the edge of my seat. This is a very exciting and turbulent series, heavy on the angst and violence. Bring your 1% Biker B**** Attitude along and enjoy the ride. Hang on tight.
