Headspace is a n innovative and faithful collision of cyberpunk and the Apocalypse Engine. The instructions are clear and concise and I'd have no problem jumping right into a game (and will soon). Mark has carved out a place for himself among dystopian future games and as with many AW games I see a bevy of support will crop up in the community from new settings to upgrades and gear. Well done. If I were to have any criticism it's that the innovation here may be "too subtle." As a veteran gamer I can see how the pieces move and where the awesome rests. The book's examples are expected, tried and true narratives found in any game about similar corporate, dystopia themes. They don't teach outside the box much. They could have pushed boundaries a little more for my taste. However, that could be a solid pro too. This game feels more comfortable than delving into Apocalypse World for the first time. That accessibility could draw many players.
