Here in these six tales of the fantastic, Ms. Sixx weaves her tale combining elements reminiscent of the early work of Clive Barker and Poppy Z. Brite though wholly Sixx in character and spirit. Two of the most notable tales involve blood sacrifice though yet another involves an unusual shop where eyes just as much as souls are bought and bartered for. I would venture that only the most hardy readers would travel forth into this wilderness of magic and mayhem though travel forth they must to discover what next Ms. Sixx has up her sleeve. It's truly a joy to behold and read. At least it was for this reader. Come now cast your purchase upon the wheel and see where this rising young talent will take you next. My heart goes out with you...along with a few other things, of course. Enjoy!

An enjoyable collection of short horror stories that have an erotic edge to them. Ms. Sixx has a great way with words and weaving enjoyable tales that will stick with you long after you finish them. I'm looking forward to reading more by her.

(I will note that the paperback version had some formatting issues with large gaps between paragraphs, which is a little jarring at first but you get used to it. I'm not sure if the Kindle version fixes this.)
