I am a lifestyle dominant, which means I live and breathe BDSM. I have been active in the kink community for over a decade, first as a submissive and later finding true fulfillment in embracing my true role as a Domme. For me, kink is as much about control as it is sex – exerting, seizing and watching another partner yield it to me.
Having a man serving me can be quite the aphrodisiac though, and I never can fully separate BDSM and sex. I am a sadist, taking exquisite pleasure in hurting my partners, but I believe strongly in consensual play. I explore female power in my writing, because it is a topic that I find endlessly fascinating. Women have the ability to captivate and possess men through our appearance, body language and words. We hold the cards, and I love delving into that ability. I discovered my own power over men when I was in a teenager. I believe in the inherent strength of women. We are incredible creatures, especially when we truly find ourselves and learn to tap into the almost magical power we all possess.
My first work, The Houseboy – Part 1, explores a woman’s discovery of her inner Domme and follows her as she learns just how much she enjoys being in control. My second book, With Lustful Intent, focuses on a younger, free-spirited woman who uses her charms to ensnare her town’s new preacher. My third book, Two in the Hand, follows an experienced Domme as she considers taking on a new submissive partner or two.
Despite what some may think about FemDom and dominant women, I absolutely adore men. I enjoy their company, and I have loved several in my lifetime. I believe that this love of men also carries through my writing. The women may be in charge, but they usually act with love and caring as their primary motivations. Life without men would not be nearly as wonderful. I just happen to prefer them at my feet.
My writing is a further exploration of what I have learned in the kinky travels of my life. I draw upon what I have lived and infuse that in my words. I have been a professional writer for many years, but I am only now beginning to share my erotica.

Per the author's bio, Ariana Page is a lifestyle dominant who actively "lives and breathes" the BDSM lifestyle. When offered the chance to review her new book I gladly accepted. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
BDSM kink is all the rage these days and is a frequent star of romance and erotica stories. This was a nice change because it came from the perspective of an experienced female dominant. It also felt like a slice of life from BDSM practitioners. Another aspect that was SO refreshing is that there was clear informed consent every step of the way. It wasn't like many of the so-called BDSM romances where one more powerful partner pressures or tricks a less powerful and less experienced person into BDSM activity without the weaker person having full information and freedom to decline. It showed autonomous adults making clear decisions to give or receive power and shows a healthy model for how consent can work. Bravo!
But I don't mean to make it sound like Two In Hand is a clinical tome….As a story it was engaging and HOT.
As an experienced dominant, the main character exudes power and control. After being heckled by 3 young professional men in a bar, Lisa bets that she can bring one young man to his knees in under 30 seconds. And she does. Even more surprising is that the young man begins to awaken to the thrill of being dominated and receiving pain from a powerful woman. And once his desire is awakened he begins the road fully submit to her control.
This was a fascinating read and felt like a very realistic portrayal of how one might enter and practice the pain and pleasure of consensual BDSM play. And it's pretty HOT! ; ). Has F/F, F/M & FFM pairings.

I had no clue what I wanted to read before I started this. So, I closed my eyes and gave it a good scroll through my library....and this is what it landed on. Good choice!
It was a good read, but I wanted more. Part 2? ;) Though it did tie up at the end, for me it tied up too quickly. It also needed another read through to squash some of the grammar issues. There's not a lot, and it doesn't take away from the story, but I noticed them.
I liked how the domme knew what she was doing. Though she got what she wanted (discipline for example), she was thoughtful of her subs' physical and mental states. It was disciplined play.
I'd recommend this.

needs more editing, more background with some negotiation would have been handy especially as she ended up pushing some hard limits
